The cottage offers a sense of privacy within the trailer park, providing a peaceful retreat while enabling easy access to the nearby beach, just a short drive from the cottage. This charming cottage was built to resemble the old lifesaving stations on the Outer Banks. Perfect for a small family or 2 couples. A short walk to Pop’s Raw Bar & Grill. No sound or ocean view but only 5 minutes from Cape Hatteras Lighthouse beach access and Frisco beach access.

Buxton Woods is a component of the NC Coastal Reserve. The site is located within the largest remaining contiguous tract of Maritime Evergreen Forest on the Atlantic coast.

We had a nice time exploring the Outer Banks from this property. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was timely with the host and they let us check in as soon as the property was ready which was a bonus.

Beautiful home & great setting

Very comfortable home in a lovely setting. We were in the area for a pelagic birding trip out of Hatteras so the location worked out really well. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had and check-in instructions including a detailed map were very helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Cape Hatteras Getaway

A beautiful cottage nestled up against maritime forest. This is a perfect rental for folks who desire a quiet space out of the hustle and bustle. A family would find find this a perfect getaway. The cottage is roomy and the interior is elegant and attractive. Everything was exactly as described and we couldn't have been happier with our visit.

Very clean! TV in every room with premium channels Great ,quaint oyster bar within a hundred yards, (but not visible from property)! Beach horse back riding 4 miles away ! Lighthouse 5 minutes away! Host was very attentive and responsive during the entire rental period ! Full grocery store ten minutes away with regular pricing, not jacked up for vacationers ! If you are considering booking this property, look no further... You have found your ideal vacation stop.. enjoy it, as we did !!
