You are invited to come and experience the peace and comfort of this wonderful home nestled just a block away from the majestic Pacific Ocean and a stone's throw from the quaint and charming hub of Manzanita's Laneda Avenue. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a retreat with friends, this home is a fantastic place to create unforgettable memories.

A Few Additional Notes to Help You Feel at Home:
Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the property. While we’re happy to welcome well-behaved pets, please note that the yard is not fenced.

For your safety and peace of mind, there is one security camera located to the right of the garage door, facing the front entrance.

Great location!

We had a great time and this was a great place! Easy walk to the beach or town. The Pac Man game wasn’t there but plenty of board games for the rainy times. Again a great place.

Lovely beach home

The beach house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach and the town were a short walk away. The owners were easy to contact and provided us with all the information we needed. We enjoyed our stay in Manzanita.

Amazing place to stay!

We had an incredible time at this great vacation rental. The hosts were very communicative during our stay and the location and amenities of the home were great. You can tell how much care the hosts put into their home and making sure their guests have a great stay, I highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Manzanita, book this home. Cozy, clean, convenient

My partner and I stayed at the Love, Bird house for a much-needed coastal getaway and it was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, great location for walking a couple blocks to town for grabbing a bite to eat. One block stroll to the ocean was a huge plus. The perfect place to relax and enjoy Manzanita.

Relaxing Retreat

The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. It has all the conveniences. We thought the beds provided a good restorative sleep. An ideal location with an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is quiet, which was perfect. The owners are friendly, informative and easy to communicate with. They made check in super easy. We will definitely vacation here again.

Wonderful house and host!

Love Bird is an excellent rental. The house is beautiful and was by far the best equipped and stocked VRBO I’ve ever stayed at! The owner was super friendly, communicative and helpful. And best of all the location to the beach and town was a quick, easy walk. Finally, there is just a really warm “heartbeat” to this home. There are pictures and stories that tell about the family roots of the home and the original owners. There is a lot of family love held in those walls and it is apparent.

Very Convenient

Host was super communicative and available. House had many extras with regard to amenities. Everything is very clean and bed was comfortable. There's only one bathroom, downstairs, so as long as you are good sharing a bathroom, the place is very sweet, close to the beach and main street.

What a wonderful place for our home away from home. Traci was a fantastic host & very communicative throughout our stay. The house was perfect for our family of 4, my mother, & pup. It’s the perfect distance between town & the park, & just a block from the beach. There’s even a little peekaboo view of the ocean. The house light & bright & while the space is small, the open dining/living space & the vaulted ceilings make it feel a lot larger than it is. We loved the feel of the house & you can really tell it’s well taken care of. Just a few notes so you know what to expect: The kitchen is quite small, & as a professional chef whose husband & mom also love to cook, it was a bit tight, but we made it work! Also, Traci was kind enough to provide some shampoo & soap for our stay, but remember to pack some as well as it wasn’t enough for the five of us for an entire week. The house also didn’t have the Pac-Man game table pictured in the listing, which she was very apologetic about, but there was a gaming console. The only other nitpicky thing is the upstairs bedroom has a natural fiber carpet thing under the bed that takes up most of the room & is quite rough on your feet. The biggest reason for five stars though was Traci. She is such a gracious host & there are so many thoughtful details like local coffee beans, ample blankets, dog food & water bowls, poop bags, etc that make your stay comfortable. She checks in & is so accommodating. We would gladly rent from her again!

Our Family History in Manzanita

This home holds a special place in our hearts. We have been coming here together for over 27 years (as long as we've been married!), as it is the beautiful home that my husband's parents built and lived in for almost 30 years.

Our four children grew up visiting their grandparents here, and many cherished memories were created within these walls and along the coast: kayaking trips on the Nehalem River with Grandpa, family walks to Manzanita City Park and the tennis courts, bike rides to nearby Nehalem State Park, and, of course, walks and sunset bonfires on the beach.

This house is the setting of so many memories that we will always hold dear, and we truly hope that it will become an equally special place for you and your family, as well.

Manzanita is located just north of Nehalem and Wheeler, and a scenic 20-minute drive south of Cannon Beach. There are many nearby hiking trails, eateries (our fave's include: Wanda's in Nehalem, Offshore Grill and Marzano's in Manzanita, and The Salmonberry in Wheeler), and, of course - the Pacific Ocean is just a short walk from the front door (one-block, to be exact!).
