Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are so glad you enjoyed the home! It is spectacular, we agree with you! Sorry about the check in/check out timing. We had guests in there that checked out the same day of your check in so with all the cleaning, maintenance and inspections it does sometimes create the 5:00 time slot. We just always want to ensure that it will be perfect when you do walk in! Check out is the same. If someone coming in, with these larger homes we need to get started to prepare for the next group. We are so glad you enjoyed Nostos! It is a beautiful home and a perfect layout for our EP guests! So many groups love this home. We are very sorry the rental experience was stressful for you. We ask that our guests do come to the office, so we can greet each group and are in touch with you throughout the day so you know the timing for check in. We will also always wait for you if you are running late - - we see that you arrived in plenty of time before our office closed, and before the actual check in time, so we are glad that worked out. Unfortunately because our homes do not allow events or parties/large gatherings as per our contract, it may have upset you when you realized you would not be able to have more high school friends/families over to the home daily. So we apologize for that. The City is very strict on the occupancy day and night and we do not want you or the owner of the home to get in trouble. You have to initial this on our contract, so it should have been very clear. This home is also not pet friendly - so when asked if friends can bring dogs or have dogs on the property, we do have to let you know not to let them in the home or around the property so that no evidence that would signify a dog being there. This might have sounded harsh, but we always have to make sure guests follow the no pet policy at the homes that are not pet friendly. Again, this is also outlined on the contract that you have to sign before arriving to the home. We send everyone a check in email before arrival and it does have a list of starter supplies that will come with the home, so there are no surprises. That lets you know for certain how many items are included and what is included. Our check out list is very short and basic - stripping beds in each room, take out trash and starting the dishwasher if any leftover dishes. We are sorry you felt that it was a lot to ask and wish you had mentioned that when it was discussed at check in. If you would have said something, we could've allowed you to skip for sure. We like to think of the check out as routine for rental properties. The pool equipment is always locked up, so that no one accidentally messes up the system as they are very sensitive and expensive. You do have access to the spa controls that are next to the spa, though. We are very clear and communicative so always know that you can ask questions before renting a home so that you have all the information that you need! EP Team
