Double booked and canceled at check in

The host canceled our reservation as we were supposed to be checking in and did not offer an alternative place. We were stranded.

No communication and unclean

We booked the property in August and had initial communication with the owner. The day before our check-in i emailed the owner for check-in instructions and access code and received no answer. We arrived at the property and could not get in. After numerous attempts to contact the owner by phone and email he finally emailed back an hour after our check-in time and said the place was not ready. After giving us the access code we were permitted to enter and to put it nice the place was messy and unsanitary. We informed the owner that we were not staying and demanded a refund, which was the only right thing he did. Poor communication and customer service.

Nice Place

We enjoyed our time in this house. Really roomy and everything we really needed was there. Enjoyed the game room. It is a decent area with some good playgrounds within walking distance for the kids…. Good eats and shopping nearby. There were a couple housekeeping issues but they were addressed kindly and promptly by the host. We appreciate that. The only thing I wished for, that the house did not have was a table to sit and eat together. There is a kitchen island with 2 stools and the area is open to the Living Room so additional seating there did accommodate everyone.

Nice house and good location

Hello, Thanks Eric for opening your house for us. It's well maintained. We were 9 adults and able to sleep very well. Has 2 bathroom which was great also. Location was nice for us since we have to go in Naperville. Has pool table which was nice also. Overall the stay was nice. Thanks
