Beach house on a quiet, secluded beach in Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores.
MINUMUM AGE TO RENT IS 25 ( NO EXCEPTIONS)
No busy commercial congestion or large condominium complexes. Relax on the covered deck with excellent views of the gulf of Mexico and Mobile bay . Spend the day just steps away on the uncrowded white, sandy beach. Find shells, watch for porpoises and swim in the clear blue waters of the gulf.
It's a short drive to several great golf courses, or shopping in Gulf Shores and the Foley (Tanger) outlet centers.
Dine at local favorites 'Lulu's' owned by Jimmy Buffett's sister, Sassy Bass a local favorite , Tachy Jacks less than a mile from the house, papa Rocco's for pizza and many more.
Close to the house is historic Fort Morgan,
Recreate among endangered species and migratory birds. Over 4,000 acres of beach dunes, scrub dunes, fresh water marsh, salt water marsh, and maritime forest make up the Bon Secour national wildlife refuge just west of gulf shores. This coastal refuge is part of the central gulf ecosystem unit part of the migration route of the monarch butterfly, the refuge is also known for its more than 120 species of birds - making it a paradise for bird watchers. Along with birding, the refuge offers opportunities for hiking, swimming, photography, collecting sea shells, and boating. Fishermen enjoy both fresh and saltwater fishing.

Ride the auto ferry to Dauphin Island for a tour of the sea lab and estuarium. The Estuarium is an exciting educational public aquarium highlighting the four key habitats of coastal Alabama: the Mobile Tensaw River Delta, Mobile Bay, the Barrier Islands and the Northern Gulf of Mexico. It includes the 10,000 square foot Exhibit Hall, a 7,000 gallon sting ray touch pool, and the Living Marsh Boardwalk. This facility has 31 aquariums totaling over 30,000 gallons with more than 100 species on display. The Estuarium showcases the plants, animals, and other natural resources found in the Estuary and its surrounding marine habitats. Through beautiful visual exhibits and engaging interactive exhibits, the Estuarium will leave you with a broader understanding of the interactions that take place in Mobile Bay, the fourth largest estuary system in the United States.
Bird-watching and sunbathing are two of the favorite activities on this island paradise. A campground and hiking trail are part of the sanctuary, giving visitors opportunities to spend time observing the neotropical migrant birds and native wildflowers. In the spring, the park is visited by bird lovers anxious to view the annual bird migration.
So much to do!
ATTENTION:We are a property participating in wildlife conservation ,so the property is surrounded by natural vegetation to encourage wildlife activity. We are in a no mow zone. Habitat conservation for wild species is one of the most important issues facing the environment today. The grasslands are natural areas protected for wildlife conservation. Observe birds or other wildlife from afar so as not to disturb them. These “no mow areas” now provide increased wildlife viewing opportunities, the sounds of birds, photo ops and research opportunities.

Just what we hoped for
Throughly enjoyed our stay. The property was even better than the write up. Very clean and very well stocked. Even included some essentials to get you started if you forgot them. Location was great. Short walk to the beach and walkable streets to take our pups out. Would definitely return.

Great place short walk to beach. We just had to listen to construction but it has to be done. Clean and pretty, outdoor furniture not made for short people. (Lol) after construction workers left it was nice and quiet

Nice Beach House with great space underneath. Quiet beach dog friendly 200 yards away. Make sure to bring your groceries as the convenience store in Fort Morgan is expensive.

Fort Morgan
Wonderful place to stay! Great location - quiet and peaceful. Having beach toys already there and a place to rinse off outside was ideal! Cheryle was quick to respond and helpful. It was just what we were looking for!

Why they chose this property

We were on vacation at the home across the street and loved the neighborhood so much we decided this is where we wanted our vacation home to be.We purchased our first home in 2009, we designed and built this one in 2015,purchased a bay home and our retirement home in the area in 2022 we designed and built another in 2023.We plan to retire in the area one day.

What makes this property unique

Home is located on a quite street.Ideal for families. In an area where pets are also welcome. They are allowed on the beach as long as they are on a leash. This home is completely carpet free and non-smoking.The house has open lots in back which provides great views. We own the home next to this one great for weddings and reunions.
