Get to the Jig!

This is a beautiful beach house inside and out! Nice short walk to the beach with available beach cart and beach accessories. Property is well maintained and squeaky clean. The charcoal grill under a covered area is definitely a plus as is the outdoor shower. I can’t say enough good things really. We had a great vacation and will be returning next year!

We had a great stay! Super short walk to the beach, and the beach cart was great to use! There were some beach chairs and sand toys available for use as well. The house was great and had everything we needed including bath and beach towels.

A Perfect Retreat for Reflection and Celebration

Scott and I recently retired, and this beach trip was the perfect way to celebrate this new chapter in our lives. This sweet beach cottage was everything we hoped for—comfortable, cozy, and steps away from one of the best shelling beaches in the Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan area. We felt right at home here. The neighbors were warm and welcoming, adding a lovely touch to our stay. The beach itself was peaceful and quiet, perfect for long walks and collecting shells—we even toted home a bucket full of treasures! On the two colder days, we stayed indoors, enjoying card games, making homemade soup, and simply spending time together. When the weather warmed up, we soaked up the sun, read on the beach with our toes in the sand, and waded through the surf. This trip gave us the uninterrupted time we needed to reflect on all we’ve accomplished and celebrate our new adventures ahead. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories. We’d highly recommend this cottage for anyone seeking a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway.

Lovely

We stayed with our family of 5, with small children. The beach is a short walk, even my 2 year old had no problem walking it. The giant beach cart fit everything we could possibly need and more. The closet under the house had lots of extra beach stuff. Boogie boards, umbrella, a couple of beach chairs, etc. There were also beach towels in the laundry room. Our hosts were very responsive. We made so many memories at jig-a-de-jig and would love to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful fall break vacation!!

We had a great time! Property was wonderful check in was easy and the beach cart is the greatest!! Owner is wonderful and quick to respond! The house is super cute and beds were very comfortable! Me love Fort Morgan and can’t wait to be back!

Great Stay

This is the best property we've stayed in over the years of visiting Fort Morgan. It was clean and easy to maintain. The full concrete pad under the house made it perfect for our grandson's to play and ride scooters. The walk to the beach is only a minute or two away with hardly any traffic in the neighborhood. The beach buggy makes lugging your stuff so much easier too. Will likely be back in the future.

Wonderful!

Awesome location. I was worried about the walk to the beach: DO NOT worry, it's a very easy and short walk, even for our 5 year old. The beach cart at the house is amazing - game changer for hauling our stuff to the beach. My kids also loved the outdoor shower.
