This is the perfect space for one or two people who aren't interested in doing too much serious cooking. It's just five minutes from downtown Mariposa and just over and hour to Yosemite Valley. The grounds are lovely and the house has just about everything you can think of. Nice sofa and tv with a great dvd collection as well as streaming services. Small table for two. And the mini split works great to maintain a constant temperature. The owners are so nice and sent good directions before arrival. The neighborhood is every quiet. Would highly recommend.

Trace and Robin were great hosts! It was an awesome place to stay convenient to town and great restaurants and very quiet. It was clean and comfortable. Trace, my husband was born in Yosemite Valley and raised just outside the Park in El Portal. He was a back-country ranger for eleven seasons and retired in 2020 after teaching for 34 years. Trace is proud to say he has hiked the majority of the trails in the Park and would love to share suggestions on places to hike and explore making your stay even more enjoyable. Robn grew up in Mariposa and is also a retired educator. A love of gardening and recently becoming a Master Gardener has kept Robn busy working in her yard and garden. She also loves to bake and looks forward to spending time doing lots and lots of reading. It brings us an enormous about of pleasure to share our love of the Sierra Foothills and Yosemite with our guests.

Our home sits on a hill overlooking the town of Mariposa. We have a wonderful breeze that comes in each night and you will find that our neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, full of wildlife and a truly relaxing place to live.

Our property is unique in that it sits on a hill just three minutes from downtown Mariposa and is two-tenths of a mile off of Highway 140 making it convenient to get an early start on your way to visit Yosemite National Park.
