About the host
Hosted by Daniel Herrmann
I would describe myself as a globetrotter or travelholic. There are so many beautiful places in the world to explore, and I'm very grateful for being able to travel to almost 50 countries and 47 States already. I am very open-minded and enjoy meeting people from all over the world and learn from about their cultures and communities.
I'm also a foodie and enjoy trying new things. One of my favorite travel experience was in the Philippines, where I was able to teach some locals in a small village how to make Guacamole. They had so many avocados, but never heard of Guacamole. In return, they took me to their mango farm where I spent all day, harvesting, packing and eating fresh mangos.
Having worked in different hotels around the world allowed to me to gather quite a bit of hospitality knowledge and culinary skills. Friends say my charcuterie boards are the bomb. I always wanted to run my own hotel one day and while I did not get to that point, I am excited to be a host now in my own home.

Why they chose this property
I lived around the world and also in different places in Florida. Palm Coast is a very peaceful town, and I have everything here I need. If I do want the hustle and bustle of a big city, I drive to Jacksonville, Daytona or Orlando but return afterward to my quiet & relaxing Oasis in Palm Coast. Not only that, but there is no traffic here, so going to the beach takes 15 minutes vs. 45 minutes or longer, even though you only live 5 miles from the beach.
What makes this property unique
Simple elegance, the stunning fully equipped kitchen and my own personal touches around the house. Please keep in mind, that this is not a traditional vacation rental, meaning the amenities you'll find in the house are the same I use before your arrival and after your departure, but I'm more than happy to share them with you.
