Quiet weekend
Our stay was good. Our accomodations was very clean and tidy. It’s a cozy little unit for a couple. Parking was a little tight. Location was a little sketchy until you go to and from a couple times. All around we were very pleased.

Thanks for your review. The parking has completely changed now and I have just added a brand new private driveway to the back of the house. It is a gorgeous way to enter through the palm trees and plenty of room for parking behind the house. I hope you'll stay again. Best, Mindy

Cute Cottage
The cottage was beautiful with lovely attention to detail. Check in was easy and flexible.Truly, I cannot say enough good things about the cottage itself. However, the neighborhood was questionable. I didn’t feel like I could safely walk from the cottage to downtown St. Augustine and opted to take an Uber.

Hi Elizabeth, thanks so much for taking the time to review. It means so much to me! So glad you liked the cottage! For getting around, a car or Uber is what I'd recommend due to the distance (driving 6 min, walking 35 min). Our neighborhood is in transition so you will see some quirks and people from different walks of life, however it is constantly changing. Thank you for your stay and your review.
Sincerely,
Mindy

St. Aug Getaway
Overall, my husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. I will say that it’s not very pet friendly - it was difficult to walk our pup around due to the lack of yard/grassy and mowed area.
There were a few things that we addressed with the host after our stay. She was very easy to get ahold of if we needed anything.
The house is an 8 minute drive from downtown St. Aug, but instead of driving and paying for parking, I would recommend renting bikes for the duration of your stay. We will definitely do this next time!

Thanks so much Glenn for your feedback! I welcome pets and do my best to accommodate their needs. The yard is one of the larger ones in the area and is mowed twice a month. During the winter grass does not grow as we don't get rain so it goes into a dormant stage. It certainly grows starting now and into the summer months. My landscaper mows twice a month during this time. I'm sorry you did not feel it was suitable for your dog. I live just outside of downtown and it takes me 6 minutes to drive into town. I guess the time to drive depends on where you want to go but it is really just a few minutes drive from the Plaza. I understand though that parking can take a while to get depending on where you are going downtown.
The yard is a grass area with overhanging trees, which are quite nice in the hot summer months as shade is always welcomed. Stay tuned for my updates as I have big plans for the yard soon. I hope you'll return to see the transformation. Thank you for choosing my cottage in St Augustine!
