4BR-3BA Mountain Modern, Hot Tub, hiking trail access, close to river.

Our beautiful Mountain-Modern home built in 2020, is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with only 5 other homes, surrounded by National Forest land. The Upper Truckee river is right across the street, and the backyard is open to several miles of walking trails through the forest and along the river. If you’re feeling more adventurous, take advantage of all the hiking that the Tahoe area has to offer. Conveniently located close to several ski resorts: 15 minutes to both Heavenly and Sierra and 30 minutes to Kirkwood. Take advantage of the proximity and try all three over a long weekend!

You’ll find the kitchen well-equipped for all your needs with a large 5-burner cooktop, retractable down-draft hood, double oven, microwave, coffee maker, and more. Basic supplies of oil, flour, sugar, coffee etc are provided for your convenience. The custom-made dining table seats 8, with room for 4 at the kitchen island counter. The mudroom has ample storage for all your outdoor gear, and has a full-size washer and dryer. In the summer, there is a large outdoor dining table for 8 on the back-deck. You can also enjoy the BBQ grill and hot-tub year round! With a TV and fireplace in the main living room, and a TV upstairs in the loft, there is plenty of space for people to relax.

The home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Downstairs on the main level is a King bedroom and a bathroom with double sink and a spacious walk-in shower. Upstairs there is a Queen bedroom, a bunk-bed room with 4 single beds, and a bathroom with a single sink and shower-over tub. Plus, the upstairs primary bedroom has a King bed and en-suite bath with double sinks, spacious walk-in shower, and a soaker tub. There is a double-size sleeper sofa in the TV loft. You’ll find pac n’ play cribs and booster seats for your little ones. All bed linens and bath towels are provided, and the home is stocked with basic supplies such as soap and shampoo.

Please put all trash into bear box, and recycling into the big in garage. If you're checking out on a Sunday, please put the recycle bin at end of driveway (dates are on Dishwasher magnet).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours 10pm-8am per El Dorado Country VHR regulations. Occupancy limited to 10 people during quiet hours.
No outdoor fires or smoking anywhere on the property!
All trash must be in bear box, recycling in blue bin. Recycling is picked up every other week.

Laura was great to work with, very responsive and understanding of our needs. The house was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in; it had everything we needed and the appliances were in great condition and high quality. The layout was perfect for our party of eight for our annual family ski trip. The hot tub was a bonus and has a cover that’s easy to remove/replace. We really appreciated the variety of items in the pantry and contributed a few of our own. We would recommend this beautiful home without reservation.

Amazing cabin

This cabin was the perfect place for our family vacation. We have children ages 3-19 and they all had the best time. We really enjoyed the river right across from the house. Everything was extremely clean upon our arrival and check in was easy. There were plenty of supplies, instructions were very detailed, overall just a beautiful place to stay.

Long weekend trip before the start of school

Everyone in our party (11 of us) loved the property. The house was nicely decorated, super-clean, and the kitchen had all the appliances/cookware needed to cook meals; overall, we really liked that the property felt new. Family girls trip

My family and I took a girls trip of 6 to Lake Tahoe and this VRBO did not disappoint!! The house was absolutely beautiful. The cleanliness was superb and the communication with the owner was always timely. The house was stocked with all of basic essentials needed for cooking, laundry, grilling, etc. Close to town, 20 minutes to hiking trails, night life, 10 min to the grocery store...just a very good location! I highly recommend this beautiful home.

What a gem!

This house was so well equipped. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was clean and the place was so spacious. The little TV room upstairs was a nice touch to allow the adults to hangout in the kitchen and living room while the kids hung out upstairs. We’d definitely rent this house again.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful home!

We loved our stay! Very clean, modern property. The hot tub was amazing! It's right off the highway but still secluded. It's right down the street from the river which was a fun little hike for the family. We even saw a bear on the 2nd night that we were there, thankfully it was a very nice bear :) The owner was very polite and communication was great! Would definitely stay here with my family again! The cleanest rental house ever

When we walkin there was bag wine and chocolate welcome us and the house was super clean. Kids was so excited to check out the room. Every room was super organized. And kitchen have all the stuff that we need. All the financial. Appliances. Are new and nice. We really enjoyed our stay will for sure come back again.

Family getaway

The home was beautiful, spacious and as described. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The only issue we had was a sparse amount of basic supplies- paper towel, garbage bags, shampoo, etc. Once asked, the cleaner did come by to provide some items. The listing should indicate that the guests bring these supplies if expected. We did have to remind the owner to send someone to clean the hot tub. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
