Why they chose this property
Johns Pass literally, right out your front door, offers endless activities and weeks worth of fun. Jet skiing, Parasailing, kayaking, fishing charters, restaurants, live music, and a brewery, are just a few of the things available right out the front door of this space. These activities could not be closer or more convenient. Many guests choose not to even bring a car. With that close proximity, does reveal the back of the restaurants and shops across the street. There may be workers from those restaurants coming and going into these places. If you want a better view, simply turn around to the back of the property which is where you can enjoy the water, and fishing boats as well as multiple docks to enjoy your favorite sundowner.
What makes this property unique
History lesson for those that care!
The “Pass”, as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane in September of 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County’s #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing jet skiing and even a Pirate Ship tour boat. The beach is a short stroll away. Conveniently located near St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa, and just a couple hour drive to the Orlando area and Disney. Check out our guide book for some of our favorite stops around the beaches and St. Pete!
