About the property

Suite, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

Enjoy a beautiful view of the estate vineyard and Paso's famous rolling hills from the covered balcony where you can watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

The retreat is totally private and disconnected from the winemaker's home. This well appointed suite is large as well as comfortable (15'X18') with a flat screen TV and surround sound, so bring your favorite DVD(s).

The unit was designed to be a romantic, cozy and spa like retreat. Great care was taken to provide an eco-friendly oasis. The bath accommodations boast a two person shower with pebble tiles and bamboo mat. The bathroom is bright and cheery with natural light and fully supplied with hair & body products, hair dryer, and bamboo linens.

The unit also offers a refreshment area that includes: a coffee maker, fresh ground local coffee, filtered water, estate wine, wine glasses, microwave, and refrigerator.

Also included is a large walk-in closet with iron and ironing board. Closet can also be used to store your wine case purchases or stow away luggage, golf clubs or additional belongings.

In the morning or after a day of wine tasting or local activities, feel free to walk thru the estate vineyard with a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine to relax and rejuvenate.

About Steve Alaimo

We have a true passion for wine and winemaking. Paso Robles offers a unique micro-climate and rich soil which provides for the perfect canvas to pursue the art of fine wine making. We love the Central Coast lifestyle and all that it offers. We have opened our guest home to visitors so that we can share our passion for this beautiful area and the serenity that it has to offer.

Steve Alaimo purchased this studio in 2004

Why Steve Alaimo chose Paso Robles

We have been visiting Paso Robles since 1988 and have enjoyed the undiscovered natural landscape of the Central Coast. We watched Paso’s progressive advancements in the wine industry and culinary achievements which have evolved, while still maintaining a friendly local atmosphere true to it’s heritage. Wanting to be a part of the community, we relocated to Paso Robles and took up wine making as our second career. We adore the area, the culture, the people, the local arts & music, and the excitement of continued advancements.

What makes this studio unique

As the live-in winemaker, I love what I do, and enjoy accommodating visitors who share my love and admiration for the central coast! I enjoy visiting wineries, hiking, golf, fishing, live music and the vast amount of unique and interesting winery events.

Lovely property, charming host

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our recent stay at Steve's Vineyard Guest House. Every detail of the cottage was sublime and Steve was the consummate host. He generously shared a bottle of his own Cabernet Sauvignon with us and it was one of the best sips in a weekend of wine indulgence.

We'll be back. Thanks Steve!

A beautiful stay in Paso Robles

  • 5 of 5

The room was beautiful. There is a little porch with a gorgeous view. So peaceful to sit and enjoy a glass of wine under the stars. Steve is a fabulous host. All the little extras in the room made it an exceptional stay. He recommended wineries, restaurants and even gave us a bottle of wine from his vineyard, a very nice cabernet. I would most definitely stay at Steve's place again.

Warm & friendly

  • 5 of 5

Steve was a very gracious host! He gave us use of both his indoor and outdoor cooking facilities and was readily available for any questions or requests. We enjoyed chatting with him, touring his lovely property, and meeting his wonderful dog, Bailey, made it feel like a home away from home! The suite was clean & well appointed but not having cooking facilities makes it good for short stays only. We would gladly stay again for a weekend getaway! Thanks Steve for sharing your home and knowledge of woodworking with us!

Oh so comfortable and highly recommend!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this guest house and wish we had time to stay longer. The accommodations are very comfortable and well thought out, the room is a nice size with ample seating room; plenty of windows let in light and provide a nice cross breeze during mild California weather. High quality finishes creates lovely ambiance and it's nice to have a balcony to enjoy the scenery with your coffee or wine! Appreciate the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, chilled water and other beverages. Given portion sizes at local restaurants, you can easily take something back to the room for later. The room is private, yet if you have any questions or need direction the owner is helpful and easy to reach Another plus is covered parking. Location is close enough to town yet still maintains a country feel. Perfect set up for two people. We would be happy to stay here again (& probably will)!
