About Steve Alaimo

We have a true passion for wine and winemaking. Paso Robles offers a unique micro-climate and rich soil which provides for the perfect canvas to pursue the art of fine wine making. We love the Central Coast lifestyle and all that it offers. We have opened our guest home to visitors so that we can share our passion for this beautiful area and the serenity that it has to offer.

Steve Alaimo purchased this studio in 2004

Why Steve Alaimo chose Central Coast

We have been visiting Paso Robles since 1988 and have enjoyed the undiscovered natural landscape of the Central Coast. We watched Paso’s progressive advancements in the wine industry and culinary achievements which have evolved, while still maintaining a friendly local atmosphere true to it’s heritage. Wanting to be a part of the community, we relocated to Paso Robles and took up wine making as our second career. We adore the area, the culture, the people, the local arts & music, and the excitement of continued advancements.

What makes this studio unique

As the live-in winemaker, I love what I do, and enjoy accommodating visitors who share my love and admiration for the central coast! I enjoy visiting wineries, hiking, golf, fishing, live music and the vast amount of unique and interesting winery events.

We had an amazing time!

  • 5 of 5

Steve, along with his amazing co-host Bailey the wonder dog were the perfect hosts. Steve's home and grounds are quintessential Paso, even up to the estate produced Zin in our room. We will definitely be back for another weekend away!

Really nice and clean property that is close to downtown Paso.

  • 5 of 5

The property was in a nice private and lightly traveled street facing the West. There is a vineyard on the property and is directly in front of the guesthouse.

The Guest House: Updated room, nicely furnished, custom built nightstands, open feel, lots of windows, balcony facing the West, nicely stocked fridge, wine produced by the owner, hot beverage available, bathroom was spacious and bright.

The owner: Steve as very friendly and accommodating. Gave me a tour of his property and a glimpse of what he loves to do. I am impressed with his work.

Thanks for offering your property Steve. It was a great find for us and will definitely return.

Incredible Stay!

  • 5 of 5

Steve your home is amazing! We immediately felt welcome and comfortable in your guest house. Perfect location and perfectly appointed space with no detail overlooked. We loved that it was only a short distance to town and appreciate the restaurant and winery recommendations. We look forward to visiting you again in the future.

Incredible Time at an Incredible Guest Home!

  • 5 of 5

It doesn't get better than this!!! We had such an AMAZING experience at Steve's guest house! Not only is the property beautiful, quiet and picturesque, Steve is an incredible host! Steve is so wonderful and showed us around his gorgeous grounds, introduced us to his adorable pets Bailey the dog and Willy the cat, and make some incredible recommendations for food and wineries. The room itself is SO cute. It's the perfect size, has a huge closet, a stunning bathroom and Steve has thoughtfully included everything you could ever need inside - even a microwave, toaster, plates, and a fridge with water and sodas! The next time we're in Paso, we will *definitely* stay here! Thank you Steve so much for everything! By the way, did I mention that it's extremely convenient to downtown, wineries and even CVS? PERFECT!!
