About Marjorie Hamon

We are longtime Roblans. We have a vacation home in Idaho and people ask us if we will retire there. Our answer is NO, we will stay here in Paso Robles and just visit other places a little more often. You won't find two people who love their town more than we do!

Marjorie Hamon purchased this house in 2008

Why Marjorie Hamon chose Central Coast

The location of this rental is wonderful. We are so close to the downtown yet far enough away to not hear activities if we choose.

What makes this house unique

The two block walk to the beginning of the downtown with all the incredible restaurants makes Suite 16th the ideal location.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We want to thank you for your beautiful accommodations on 16th St. in Paso Robles. My husband, I, and our daughter and son-in-law stayed there last weekend. It was so nice to have a bathroom with each bedroom. The place is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We didn't use the laundry, but how convenient to have one in the unit. Also great is its proximity to shops and restaurants - just a stroll of a few short blocks. An added bonus was to be able to park our car in the garage.

Great Visit To Paso Robles

  • 5 of 5

This VRBO rental in Paso Robles surpassed my expectations. Pleasantly decorated, not one room was untouched. Kitchen convenient and open to livingroom. Bathrooms were very nicely remodeled. Plenty of towels, glassware, cookware etc. Made our stay very pleasant.

great place and great location

We stayed for 2 days with another couple and had an excellent stay. Very comfortable, close to downtown Paso. Quiet. We had a good time sitting on their balcony. They had a garage for our car.

Special weekend for 4!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful getaway! We had two couples - in the area to attend a wedding at Pear Valley Winery (a beautiful place and wonderful wines!).

We stopped and did a little wine tasting on the way in-- no shortage of wineries. When we arrived, we were pleased to have a garage to park in and then as we enters the home were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a 'home away from home' that looked exactly as the photos suggested! Very open, spacious and clean- decorated nicely- very comfortable beds, plenty of dishes (especially wine glasses!) - just perfect for two couples.

We enjoyed the evenings and mornings out on the patio. It's very close to downtown which made for a fun day of walking, eating and shopping for the ladies, as the guys played golf at Paso Robles Golf Club- which they thoroughly enjoyed- not too difficult, and very scenic.

We ate dinner ar McPhees in Templeton - (make a reservation!) and had a spectacular dinner. It's a very casual atmosphere, but the food is anything but- the Pork Chop is incredible!

He next day we enjoyed coffee at Kreuzbergs and a good burger for lunch at Vic's. Saturday's are the farmers market, which always makes for some fun treats. Our afternoon and evening were spent at a wedding- Then we finished up our weekend, before heading home, at the Golden Oak Grill for Fathers Day breakfast for our guys. again, a very simple place, but such friendly wait staff and Wonderul food!

Our 'Home' for the weekend was quiet, very comfortable, and a great location! We will be back to do more wine tasting and sightseeing !

Will come back!

  • 5 of 5

It had been 39 years since the three of us girls had been together, so finding a comfortable and secure place was paramount. The owners have figured out a system where it was easy to park my van inside a garage and take our things up a manageable flight of stairs. Inside the unit we found a clean (no dust anywhere, good for my allergies!) spacious two bedroom with lots of storage. We found a sparkling bottle of Opolo, which was the winery we had planned to visit, waiting for us, great way to start our reunion. If I were the owners, I would add screens to the windows and a deadbolt to the front door, but those things are minor compared to the overall wonderful experience we shared.

Owner's Response: Good idea about the dead bolt. As for screens, Paso Robles has such a low incidence of flying insects that we seldom use screens. I believe they are "hiding" in a closet. I will check it out. Thank you for the nice reveiw.

The cutest house in downtown Paso Robles

  • 4 of 5

I absolutely LOVED this peaceful and beautiful house! We were on the 2nd story of the duplex and I do not believe anyone was below us. We had a nice secure garage which was nice! It was just me and a close friend that stayed and there was SO much room! When we arrived Marjorie had a bottle of champagne and two glasses sitting out for us. So darling! Very clean, very spacious and very amazing working with the owners. The bathrooms were fantastic as well as the kitchen! They really paid attention to the detail. The ONLY reason I have it 4/5 stars is because in the back bedroom and bathroom you can see straight through the curtains at night - which made us feel a little uncomfortable being 2 girls alone. It would be great if there were thicker/darker curtains. When we come back to Paso Robles from Texas we will FOR SURE stay in this house!! Close to everything.
