My daughter named this place the jungalow (jungle/bungalow). We had a fantastic stay. Everything was great. Denise and Brian were wonderful hosts. We absolutely loved the porch swings.

Aloha to you and your family!
Thank you for a beautiful stay and loving the home and property as much as we do!
So happy the hammock swings were a highlight as they are addictive! Blessings on all travel home and visit again!
A very relaxing atmosphere. Quint and comfy. Beautiful setting and great host/owners Brian and Denise who lives next door and is very helpful. We (myself, sister, and two friends) truly enjoyed our stay. This gem is fully furnished with kitchen gadgets, bath, laundry, and bedrooms, including a fully enclosed lanai with hammocks, lounge chairs, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at this property immensely! The yard is filled with beautiful plants and flowers. But my favorite area was the screened in Lanai with hammocks. The host was amazing and flexible with us due to an incoming tropical storm. When I return to Hawaii I will definitely rent again.

Aloha and thank you for a beautiful stay! You were seeet guests and thank you for taking such great care of the property!
As advertised. Not hot without AC due to the many windows and fans. Host was there when we arrived and was welcoming. House was well stocked and in good condition. The road is a bit rough but not a problem. A neighbor was a bit loud but didn't bother us. Revoked staying.

Aloha and thanks for a great stay! We like to make the home comfy and pleasurable for guests. We are transparent and include on listing that the road is rural and is dirt/gravel. We have hosted over 300 guests and maintained a 5 star rating aside the country rural agricultural road. Our neighbor was repairing his daughter’s shed and was done before quiet hours, he knows the neighborhood expectations! We all love pure silence but life happens when others may be vacationing in regular “non-hotel” neighborhoods. Blessings on all travel home!

Why they chose this property
We love the jungle, trees, flowers and all the fruit it offers! We grew up in a rural area in NY and love the rural area the rental is on in Pahoa! The yard was originally created by a botanist and there many lush gardens to view!
What makes this property unique
The bungalow is serene and the gardens are beautiful! You can melt away in nature and enjoy the sounds of nature as you swing in 2 hammock swings on screened lanai! We are off the beaten path but only 5 miles from entertainment, music, several restaurants and so much more at Puna Kai Market Mall or Pahoa Village. We recommend Kaleo's Bar & Grill for local seafood options! 5 miles away a d Hawaiian decor! Makuu Market is amazing and only 20 minutes away every Sunday 8-2pm. Lava Tree Park is 1 mile away, Lava Zone Museum 5 miles away, Isaac Hale Hot Ponds 20 minutes away, Uncle Robert's Wednesday Music - Food & Artisan's Night - 20 minutes away
