Come relax for a whole family get away at our 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom, cozy yellow cabin in the Massanutten Mountains at Massanutten Resort. Enjoy your mornings sitting on the back screened deck with your morning coffee in peace.

Massanutten Four Season Resort allows your family to have access to a Four Season Resort. Here, you have options to enjoy Fall Retreat or a Winter ski Getaway, or a Summer indoor and outdoor water park adventure.

Our home is on the property of Massanutten resort and is the perfect home base location for you and your family to enjoy all the local amenities and attractions and most are conveniently on the resort including mountain biking, fishing, hiking, adventure rope park, indoor and outdoor water park, arcades, restaurants, 2 golf courses, driving range, down hill skiing, snow tubing, and when in season horse back riding, go carts, & put put. for those that may not be as adventurous, there is a spa on site ( reservations recommended) as well as several virginia wineries and breweries close by.

Our space is perfect for a home base whether you are here for JMU event, hiking the Shanandoahs, or vacationing on the resort. Welcome!

Cozy country cottage

Enjoyed our stay at this cozy location on the Massanutten Resort when we came to see JMU beat ODU. Weather was unseasonably warm so we were able to grill out and ate our meals on back porch in view of fall foliage. Would definitely come back.

Great Vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 4 people. Convenient to lots of sightseeing, shopping, antiquing, & nice restaurants. The leaves had not turned as much as we would have liked but it didn’t keep us from having a great time. The only problem we had was trying to open the door after putting in the code. The key box made it hard to try the knob. Missed having a vegetable peeler in the kitchen.

Property was ok overall. Fairly clean. Cobwebs in chandlers, picture in bathroom covered in dust. House was comfortable. Downstairs bedroom needs better lighting. Little issues in kitchen like no measuring spoons. Screened porch was huge disappointment. Rug was heavily soiled and furniture looked dirty. Overall ok property that needs deep cleaning and a few tweaks to make it more enjoyable.

When we are not hosting guests at our mountain home, we enjoy activities with our children doing something usually outside or traveling other areas of Virginia.

Why they chose this property

Our home is located on a quiet culdesac tucked away on a road mid mountain making it easy to access the top ( skiing, restaurants, tubing, rope park, go carts) and easy to access the bottom( water park, horse back riding, golf, restuarants,).
Our home is on a quiet culdesac where our back yard faces woods and nature. In the winter when the leaves have fallen you can sit on the deck and get a view of the blue ridge mountains.

What makes this property unique

Our home is a cozy cedar home located conveniently on the mountain for conveneint access to quick onsite amenities with so many different options for you and your family to enjoy,so you never feel short of bored from mountain biking, hiking, to fishing or the water park to name a few. OR you can relax peacefully in our home on our queit culdesac where surrounded by nature. We love the location of our home becuase it is a quick drive from Washington Dc, Maryland, or North Caorlina to escape the hustle and bustle of city living, while still offering convenience of amenities and quick access to restaurants, wineries, and grocery stores.
