3/2 with Homeowner Park and Boat Ramp

Our Home is your home! lets get you on island time! Your 3/2 vacation home sits on a spacious lot with plenty of parking for you and your boat or personal water craft. We are not located on the water but we do offer access to a private boat ramp that will accommodate up to a 22' boat. There is no dockage available at this location but with the boat ramp only a few streets away it is easy to put the boat in and take it out of the water daily. We kept the family in mind when we designed this home! You can relax under our 12' x 32' Tiki Hut... Yes we said Tiki Hut!!! There is enough room under there to entertain the entire family, with plenty of seating, hanging hammock chairs and a 65" smart T.V. for your viewing pleasure.

Moving inside there is a full kitchen for the times you want to relax and cook a great home cooked meal. The kitchen leads into the living room that ready for you to relax and enjoy spending time with the family. Enjoy watching movies on the newly installed smart T.V's. You can log into your Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, Roku, Disney Plus or any other service you may have to watch your favorite shows or movies.

When its time to sleep after a great day on the water or exploring the beautiful Florida Keys we have 3 full bedrooms for everyone to get a great nights sleep. The master has an on suite bathroom, with a queen bed and features French doors that open to the back porch which is steps away from the Tiki Hut. The middle bedroom is equipped with 2 twin beds with games for the kids and a Wii for those late night gamers. The front bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and is away from the other bedrooms for a quiet nights sleep.

After you great night's sleep why not explore Key Largo by bike? We have four bikes and helmets available for use so that you can explore at your own pace or take a ride to go see the beautiful sunset with your partner. Please note: You ride at your own risk. We are not responsible for your accidents. We also provide fishing poles and snorkeling gear for your use.

You are only minutes away from shopping, grocery stores or taking a trip on a fishing or snorkeling boat. Restaurants are close by and some do deliver to you if you want to stay in and relax.

With the current situation that we are experiencing in the world today we keep your safety in mind. Between every stay stringent sanitation precautions are taken. All surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. Air filter in the A/C is changed and all linens are washed at high temperature and sanitized before the next visit. We do offer contactless check in for you and your families safety in mind. What better way to get away from the stresses of a pandemic then staying with your family in paradise. You can stay here and have no contact with anyone if that is what you have in mind for your vacation.

A terrific Home

This "home" was all it was advertised to be. Attention to tiny details were amazing. Really could have gotten away with one less suitcase for all the amenities that were provided. (soaps, canned goods, even something for my heartburn)Had the pleasure of meeting Jackie on our arrival. The house was immaculate, comfy and a quiet neighborhood. We especially enjoyed sitting outside for relaxing. Made use of the kayaks and bikes. Some of the best meals I've had in ages were at the local restaurants. Would return but waited too long to make the reservation.

Two Months in Paradise

We have stayed in Key Largo in the past for a month at a time. This was one of the best rentals. It is exactly as pictured. Very clean and a kitchen equipped for a foodie. The internet reception is excellent. We enjoyed the Tiki Hut (although 'hut' does not do it justice as it is the size of two rooms) with the TV. As usual watch out for the insects. They did supply us with candles and repellent sprays. We enjoyed walking and biking around the neighborhood. Our daughter and son in law joined us for 10 days and our sister and brother in law overlapped for a week. The house and outdoor space is large enough that no one felt crowded.

Jackie is an AMAZING host! We truly had the best experience. The home was exactly as described — and even better. Loved our stay!

My family and friends from out of town stayed here for opening season of lobster. The house is really cute and extremely clean and tidy. The kitchen was big enough to have all 6 people in there at the same time. The 2 queen sized bed was extremely comfortable, not to sure on the twins. The yard was big enough for us to keep our boat and 2 cars. The back yard has a nice sitting area that is covered. I would definitely stay here again. The Morris Family

Cozy Keys Home in a Great Location

Thanks Darrell & Jackie for hosting our annual Keys trip in your beautiful home! The home was very clean, cozy and well equipped to serve as our home away from home for our annual trip to the Keys. Our children and granddaughters were able to join us for a few days, and we were pleasantly surprised that the home was equipped with toys and games to keep the children occupied on a rainy morning! It was very refreshing to have a property that has kids in mind! The backyard was great, and the gated yard was a safe and secure spot to keep our boat each night. The private boat ramp was a plus, and the route in and out of the area was easily navigable. The Key Largo area is a great home base for reef hopping. We managed to snorkel, Grecian Rocks, Christ of the Abyss, Minnow Caves, Molasses Reef, French Reef and Carysfort Reef and Lighthouse, We also managed to get on a good Yellowtail bite just outside the reef, and ran offshore late in the week to get in on the hot Mahi bite! We managed to land a few keepers just 7 miles outside the reef in 500 feet of water. When we arrived on Saturday, we were greeted by a very pleasant Jackie, who immediately made us feel at home, and had the home and property ready to go! Great house in Key Largo

Very nice house. Well decorated. Very clean. Darrell and Jackie respond to any and all questions/concerns quickly. Very convenient to Pennekamp. Plenty of space and storage area. Loved the layout especially the kitchen. Has all the amenities of home. Did I mention how clean it was? Only problem we had were the dishes wouldn’t put themselves up from the dishwasher . 😁

Beautiful Home in Key Largo!!

We had a fantastic week staying here with friends. Home is beautifully decorated and very well cared for. Had delicious steaks on the grill in the back yard that is setup great! Lots of room for parking. You wont find nicer owners then Darrell & Jackie!! Thanks to both of them for making our week perfect!! We will be back! :)

The highlight of our trip !!!!

Every year we visit the Florida Keys at least once. This year was speacial because we didn’t felt like we was away from our home in New York. It was so clean with all you can ask for. The decor makes you feel right at home literally. It was in the middle of all attractions and amenities you need. Very easy to find right of Overseas Highway. My family looked forward to spending a peaceful evening after a long adventurous days from the Everglades to Key West !!!! Oh did I mention it was very very clean. Lol. Thank you for opening your lovely home for us to stay. We are back home in New York and our stay is all we can talk about. When ever you leave your home to vacation somewhere else you want to feel at home and that what the Ratliff’s gave us. Peace of mind. We will return next year no questions about that. See you next year.!!!!!

Wonderful house!

We stayed in Jackie's and Darrel's house over the Christmas break 2017/2018. Very nice house, the owners supplied us literally with everything we could need including some groceries! It was really nice! We had a great time Kayaking the mangroves and lakes. The place to put in kayaks was just across the street at the neighbor's dock. The neighborhood was safe and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would gladly come back and recommend this house to any of our friends!

Ein Traumhaus!

In einer schön normalen Wohngegend Key Largos zwischen ganz normalen Nachbarn gelegen, sticht dieses Haus der Ratliff's dennoch heraus. Ein derart perfekt gepflegtes, überkomplett ausgestattetes Haus haben wir (5 Personen) noch nie bewohnt. Mobiliar, TV- und Elektrogeräte, Sanitärtechnik, Klimaanlage, Gasgrill, Wäsche, Handtücher - alles hochwertig und wie neu wirkend. Das ganze liebevoll dekoriert und arrangiert mit einem umfassenden Angebot an nützlichem Infomaterial. Bei Anreise fanden wir den Kühlschrank gefüllt vor, als würde man zu den besten Freunden ins Haus ziehen. Wir haben uns jede Minute wohl gefühlt in diesem Haus, das seinen günstigen Mietpreis mehr als wert ist. Wer ein perfektes Quartier zum Erkunden der traumhaften Florida Keys und für Ausflüge in die Everglades und nach Miami sucht, sollte hier unbedingt zugreifen! Bernd, 52 Jahre, Oranienburg

Perfect

Awesome trip! We didn't spend a lot of time home, as we were out exploring and traveling the Keys during our stay, but the time we did spend at the rental was great. We enjoyed going on bike rides as well as kayaking the mangroves. I didn't realize the neighborhood was right up against John Pennecamp Park until we met a neighbor who filled us in while we were on the water. Beautiful setting and amazing amenities.

We should have stayed longer!

We rented this house from Mid-December to end of February, 2016. It was easy to settle in and decide we were at home. As others have said, the house layout makes it feel larger than expected. The beds are very comfortable. The second queen bedroom is separate from the others and was perfect for a room for my friend's visit. Nice size bathrooms. Nicely laid out kitchen. My husband likes to cook and he had all the utensils and pots, pans & appliances he needed to cook fresh fish from Key Largo Fisheries. The location is quiet. The neighbors are very nice - and most days are away working. It is only a couple of blocks to the owners' park, where you can put in the kayaks. We enjoyed kayaking in the mangroves so much, we bought one to take home. The mangroves and Largo Sound were great for fishing. The bicycles were a nice bonus. We did bike to Pennekamp State Park and north on Overseas Highway to have lunch at the Buzzards Roost or go to the Botanical Gardens (great walk). The walking path along Overseas Highway was great for running or walking. The back yard of this house is an entire living area. There is a very nice picnic area with a chiminea to enjoy evening fires. Wifi and Satellite TV are included. I can't say enough good things about this house.

Home Away from Home

Our family of 5 stayed here the week just before Thanksgiving 2015. It was just WONDERFUL! We have 2 girls, 7 and 10 and my 80 year old mom along with my husband and myself. The home was more than we could have asked for and we can't wait to go back. We had all the amenities such as Wifi, Cable/Satellite TV, Movies, Games and toys in the kids rooms. Since we knew that there was a full kitchen, we bought some groceries at the nearby Winn-Dixie (Publix isn't far either) on our way in. Of course, we didn't think of EVERYthing. For example, we wanted to warm up something in the microwave without making a mess - but had not bought Saran Wrap - there was already some there. There were several other household staples that were thankfully, available and helped us not only enjoy but saved the cost and time of running back and forth to the store. Everything from a cooking spices, mustard, miracle whip AND Hellman's. Those small things really made a difference and helped make the stay a real vacation for us. Our girls really enjoyed riding the bikes. We didn't get to go kayaking this time but we hope to next time. The location is also wonderful as Key West and Miami are easily accessible (well as easy as traffic allows). We visited Key West, Islamorada and Schnebley's Winery in Miami. This was far better than even the luxury resorts that we have stayed at before.

More than just a rental!

Based on a recommendation from my son's fiancée we rented the Key Largo house for our family vacation. This house is way more than you will find in just any rental place. It is more like you have just "borrowed" someone's home. In addition to the snorkel equipment, kayaks, bikes and awesome patio there were beach towels and a stocked pantry (including coffee!) Everything was exceptionally clean, high end and decorated with an overall beach/keys type décor. I couldn't have asked for any better accommodations and the price was very competitive with other places I had checked that weren't near as nice. Jackie was great to work with and accommodated our dates, the number of children we have and even a last minute pet that we didn't anticipate having with us! We rented a reef boat for 3 days and had an awesome time going snorkeling (my first time) on the beautiful reefs and letting the kids play in the clear water. The weather was very hot (after all it was July/Aug) but we stayed in the water a lot with lots of sunscreen on. We really had a good time and I would highly recommend this place!

Paradise Found!

What a wonderful time in the Florida Keys and an incredible house to come back to every night!! The listing was to the point on how the home is described and pictured. Everything is VERY well taken care of and the owners are AMAZING to work with. The Keys are full of things to do and see and lots of wonderful places to eat! Our favorite was the Friday night all you can eat fish at The Hideout located close to the home. If you are interested in Jet Skiing find Bruce at the Big Chill, good prices and he is full of information, wish we had found him sooner!! I now understand why my father-in-law does not want to return to Ohio....the Island life what a beautiful place to be! We will return for sure and thanks Darrell and Jackie for sharing your home with us.

A Fabulous House!

We had a terrific time in the Florida Keys! Darrell and Jackie's house was amazing! The house was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. It was also very well stocked. The yard was lovely and completely private. It was so nice coming back to this house after a long day of fun and sun and just relax. We are a family of four and had plenty of room. Beautiful home and Great Place to Stay!

Thanks Jackie and Darrell. Your home is fantastic and the neighbors were inviting. We had a blast in the waterways nearby and the boat ramp is convenient and close. The super markets and restaurants are nearby with so many activities to allure you away, we had more fun at the house than going out. Load up the fridge and enjoy the backyard grill and amenities. PERFECT PIECE OF PARADISE !!!

WE FOUND THIS LITTLE TREASURE ON VRBO BY TYPING IN RENTALS WITH BICYCLES. ONCE DECIDED, THE PROCESS WENT SMOOTH. JACKIE WAS VERY FRIENDLY WHEN WE SPOKE AND DARRELL WAS QUICK TO PROVIDE DETAILS VIA E-MAIL. ALL TRANSACTIONS WERE TIMELY. SO BEGINS OUR TRIP SOUTH WITH TWO OF OUR GRAND KIDS...UPON OUR ARRIVAL, WE WERE ALL SO SURPRISED TO FIND SUCH AN IMMACULATE AND WELCOMING HOME. IT WAS IMMEDIATELY APPARENT THAT DARRELL AND JACKIE LOVED THIS HOME AND WANTED OTHERS TO FEEL THE SAME (AND WE DID!). CHECKING THE PLACE OUT BEFORE UNLOADING, THE KIDS FOUND SNACKS IN THE PANTRY AND WE ADULTS WERE HAPPY TO FIND A COUPLE OF "COLD ONES" LEFT IN THE FRIDGE "JUST FOR WEARY TRAVELERS." AT THAT MOMENT WE KNEW GOOD TIMES WERE AHEAD! I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE UP TO DATE & WELL STOCKED KITCHEN, IT HAD ANY EXTRAS YOU WOULD NEED & THEN SOME! THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN, HAD NICE FURNITURE AND WAS WELL STOCKED WITH ESSENTIALS. I REALLY LIKED THE PHOTOS OF THE FAMILY IN THE HALLWAY. THE BEDROOMS WERE PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY; OUR GRANDSON 11, LOVED THE VIDEO GAMES IN THE TWIN ROOM & OUR GRANDDAUGHTER 13, LOVED THE PRIVACY AND DECOR OF HER ROOM. THE MASTER BED WAS COMFORTABLE & QUITE. ONTO THE OUTSIDE...WOW!!! WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OUTDOORS! THE SPACE WAS PRIVATE & WELL DESIGNED. (LOVED THE DECOR & THE LIZARDS!) THE NEIGHBORHOOD WAS QUITE WITH VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC. THE BIKES WERE USED FREQUENTLY BY ALL OF US. WE RODE TO SEE THE SUNSET EVERYDAY :) NOTHING LIKE SEEING THE LOOK ON A CHILDS FACE WHEN THEY REALIZE WHAT BEAUTY OUR AWESOME GOD PROVIDES IN A SUNSET ON THE OCEAN!! IT WAS FUN TO TRY OUT THE KAYAKS TOO. HUSBAND SNORKELED IN KEY WEST WHILE WE ENJOYED THE TOP OF THE BEAUTIFUL CLEAR WATER. VISITED FORT, BIRD SANCTUARY,TARPON FEEDING & PARKS IN AREA (ALL ENJOYABLE). Great Vacation Getaway

Everything about our experience at this beautiful home was excellent. Darrell and Jackie were friendly and helpful and sent us ideas for our visit long before we arrived. Beautiful, immaculate home with a great patio in gorgeous Key Largo. Well stocked kitchen with essentials which was so nice after a long day of traveling. Perfect location for seeing lots of sights in Florida - south to Key West (loved it!) and north to Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. It was wonderful to escape to a quiet, private location to relax at the end of a busy day. Great little shops, clubs, restaurants and sights close to the house for those days that we didn't want to travel far. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Florida. Continued on a cruise and our damage deposit arrived back at our house before we did! We had a great vacation, thanks Darrell and Jackie!

Excellent Facility for family of six

Arrived on 12/23/13 for a week. Four adults with two teenagers age 19 and 17. House was everything we needed. Very well kept and exceptionally clean. Fully stocked with all kinds of kitchenware plus stocked closet of goodies. Since we do most of our own cooking, all kinds of spices, dishes, pots and pans. High speed internet for the electronic age. Darryll and Jackie could not be more helpful and accommodating. Recommendations sent to us before arrival were very helpful. Took advantage of fishing trip (caught 11 sea trout enough for two meals). Only two hours from Key West. Must visit if you stay in this house.

Fantastic home in Key Largo

WOW!! If we had a nice a home as this, I wouldnt even rent it out!! Thats how lovely this home was. Five star all the way. Everything was provided and then some. It was lovely and quiet which is really what we wanted and lovely outdoor space, to enjoy dining. The air conditioning was working fantastic so it was nice to cool down if the heat got too much. Plenty of room for everyone and I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wanted to be centrally located between the all the keys and Miami. We had a fantastic vacation and really bonded as a family. Thankyou very much Jackie and Darrell.

Better than a five star hotel!!

We have stayed at many vrbo homes and this one is at the top of our list!! This home far exceeded all our expectations! It is a nice, spacious, clean home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It has many extras that most vacation rentals would never even think of. Plenty of towels and linens, very good water pressure for nice, long, hot showers after a day of snorkeling and the home is very tastefully decorated. Loved the use of the bikes, snorkeling gear, grill and kayaks!! We stayed a week and it was just perfect for us! We will definitley be back time and time again!! Simply Wonderful!!

Great, clean, comfortable home with everything you need for a great vacation!

We loved this house. The owners were very generous and and attentive. It was very clean, with wonderful extras. We loved the kayaks, beach chairs, coolers, DVD collection, fenced in back yard, and sand box/play area. It was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I could not imagine staying in a hotel when you can stay in a spacious home with a private backyard! Our children played happily inside and outside. The owners really go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. Thanks!

We are at the back door to John Pennekamp Park , some of the best fishing, diving, water sports, and restaurants in the world. You can keep yourself busy from beautiful sunrise to sunset or do nothing but relax and explore or bike ride. You can feed the tarpon at Robbies Marina, go charter fishing for gamefish, or go Parasailing in Key Largo. The Keys are known for being 'laidback' and you will feel that once you walk in our door.
