Beautiful home served as base for Whiteface trip

Pictures are very accurate. This classic home has beautiful woodwork and is well appointed. Our family (three adult kids) stayed here for a weekend trip to Whiteface. It's a great spot. I'd also recommend Forty Six restaurant, which is a very short walk away.

The home is beautiful with outstanding millwork and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, we found rodent droppings on kitchen counters and directly on bedroom bedding at check-in and had to spend our first hours disinfecting so the space could be used. When we contacted the management company, we were told this was “normal for the Adirondacks” and our request for cleaners was denied. If this had been handled promptly we would have been satisfied, but future guests should be aware of these conditions.
