Easy Access to Hwy 321/221, 15 min to App State/Boone.



Oak Haven is a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2nd-floor condo located in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock. The prime location offers unparalleled convenience to shops dining, and local area attractions. Enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere of the rustic modern aesthetic design with exquisite wood accents and a stone fireplace. Each private bathroom features pebble floors for an added touch of nature. Well-appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and brand-new furnishings throughout, including: 

- NEW 58” Samsung Smart TVs in the living room and one bedroom

- 1GB wifi with streaming account access to YouTubeTV, Netflix, ESPN+, Peacock

- NEW King size memory foam mattresses (Casper)

- Fully appointed kitchen with All-Clad cookware and everything needed (including salt/pepper grinders, various spices, & olive oil) to cook during your stay

- Glassware includes stemless and stemmed wine glasses, pint glasses, champagne flutes, and cocktail shaker for those afternoon drinks

- Live edge dining table with seating for four

-2 master suites with King Beds and private bathrooms

- Two private bathrooms with pebble floors and granite counters (one tub and one walk-in shower)

- Private desk/workstation

- 2nd-floor balcony with seating for two

- Coffee station for both ground and K-cup (hot and cold brew)

Oak Haven is located right off Sunset Dr on a small stretch of New River in downtown Blowing Rock. The river is more like a creek and has easy access for the kiddos and dogs to walk around in.

There is plenty of parking available, but only one vehicle is permitted in the strip between our building and the one right across from it. Additional parking is available throughout the rest of the property.



LOCATION

Just a short walk to Main Street and within minutes to area attractions like: Appalachian Ski Mountain (9 minutes to the parking lot), Chetola Resort (0.5 mile - <10 minute walk), Blowing Rock Country Club (1.5 mile walk or drive), Bass Lake (1.4 mile walk or drive), Tweetsie Railroad (9 min drive), Boone/Appalachian State University (15-20 min drive), Bistro Roca (our favorite! 0.7 mile - 12 min walk), Blue Ridge Parkway Access (1.6 mile - 4 min drive), Speckled Trout (0.6 mile - 10 min walk).

Up to two dogs will be considered upon request and require prior approval. Must be under 35 pounds each, weight limit strictly enforced by HOA. A $100 non-refundable pet fee will apply per stay.

This condo is right in town and is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was clean and cozy in the nicest way. The beds with very comfortable and both bedrooms have small but up to date bathrooms. The decorating was stylish and appropriately mountain cute. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Spring in the mountains

The place was fantastic! Well stocked and comfortable set up for family use. Amazingly convenient walking distance to downtown! We were traveling with 2 small dogs and there were great walking spaces for them to conveniently get outside for bathroom trips. Highly Recommended!! Pictures were a good representation of what to expect!!

Blowing Rock Vacation

Generally we were very satisfied. Everything was as described, and all incidental items were included (e.g soaps, paper towels, shampoo, detergent, coffee filters). We were surprised that only one bedroom had a closet, and the one with the closet did not have a dresser. A shelf in the closet was not sufficient. Also, the light fixture in the dining room needs to be relaced. We advised the manager as it had only one small bulb over the table..Overall, we were very pleased with the stay and response from the manager.

Perfect stay and location!!

Justin’s home was the perfect place for our stay in Blowing Rock. It’s located right in the middle of Blowing Rock and is walkable to all that downtown Blowing Rock has to offer. I was especially impressed with this condo. It was clean, updated, beautifully decorated, and it came stocked with all the essentials that we needed. Justin was an excellent host. He was very responsive to anything we needed and provided an awesome list of recommendations for us to explore around Blowing Rock. As someone who is hesitant to book rental homes vs hotels, this seamless, clean, and comfortable experience may have changed my mind! I can’t wait to stay here again on my next trip back to Blowing Rock. P.S. I highly recommend a September or October stay as the leaves are changing and Blowing Rock is the ideal fall town.
