Very remote and very nice. Like the country setting. The host provides lots of little extras that make it nice. This is a great place to hang out with friends and family if you are looking for a quite retreat.

Great house, nice back yard

We came to this area for a wedding and had a great stay with the host being very responsive. House is very clean and like new condition, back yard has great patio and is in a quite neighborhood.

Perfect holiday with the family

Nicest vacation home we’ve ever stayed at! House was perfectly clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was quiet which was great for a peaceful weekend with family. Communication was prompt and instructions were clear and easy-going. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay!

Me and some friends stayed the night here before going down to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. We couldn’t believe how clean and nice the home was - it feels practically brand new! Steven, the host, was incredibly accommodating and was easy to communicate with. Really enjoyed that coffee and fruit were there for us to enjoy, Highly recommend!

What an exceptional spot! Very well appointed! Comfortable, clean, accommodating. Beautiful setting in the woods. And the fenced in yard was perfect.

Quick Thanksgiving getaway Something changed He lost oxygen like he wasn’t

This was the perfect situation for our family coming to town for a quick overnight. Stephan was so accommodating excellent communicator. The home was meticulously decorated with everything you need. As a VRBO owner ourselves this met all of our needs.Cannot highly recommend this place.

Stephen’s property was perfect for us and only about 25 minutes from the wedding venue. It was super clean and quiet. We only prepared one meal due to wedding activities but the kitchen is well stocked. You can enjoy walks on the private road which is very wooded. One bed was rather high and difficult for a family member to get in and out. Two sofas in the den were very low to floor and difficult to stand up from. Deck is very large and has plenty of space to relax. Bed and towel linens were very fresh and the owner’s closet has a custom closet system. The location is remote but not too far away from a major highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Stephens Home

All the excellent reviews I read about Stephen's home are perfectly accurate. I use many VRBO's. This was the cleanest most accurately represented I've ever stayed at. If you're looking in this area to rent a vacation home, stop looking and book Stephen's home! My hat's off to Stephen, the owner, for his excellent communication and going the extra mile in every regard. It's lonely on the extra mile! Simply the best!

Perfect place for a wedding weekend!

I booked this property for a wedding weekend for my daughter who was getting married at Hollyfield Manor. I wanted the bridesmaids to have a place together on Friday, and then the bride and groom to have a place Saturday night. Steven was great from the start with communication, accommodating our needs with earlier access due to the rehearsal. and helping in any way he could. His home is so well-appointed, clean, and he provided such wonderful touches for a welcoming and special weekend. They would have loved to have taken advantage of the firepit but it was a windy weekend! I highly recommend this property and particularly if you are in need of accommodations near Hollyfield! I can't recommend and thank Steven enough for helping to make the weekend special! :)
