(A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Excellent location near beaches and local shopping with easy access to the Everglades for nature walks. We went on an easy trail walk about 20 minutes from the house and saw literally hundreds of birds. This is an absolutely perfect spot to see a ton of different animals and the kids loved it: burrowing owls, gopher tortoises, dolphins, manatees with the provided kayaks, and fish from the doc. The house itself was fantastic. There were 8 of us and we easily cooked dinner for the whole group and ate together at the massive kitchen island each night. The space was clean, light, and well suited for large groups. A member of our group said it was the first vacation rental that she would 100% return to, which is high praise given the amount she travels. All around a great trip that we look forward to repeating.

This property is managed by Vacasa, who responded to questions prior to our booking and stay, however you do have to contact Vacasa directly, apparently they do not recieve the VRBO messages. That said, I messaged and called ahead to make sure some of the listed amenities were available and in working order, and was assured they were. When we arrived, we noted that the house was not overly clean, the seats to the glass bottom kayak were broken, making it unusable, the other kayaks were in various states of disrepair making it tough to use them to go very far. The garage had alot of potentially useful extra fishing equipment, but none of it was in good working order. Beach umbrellas were provided, but once hauled to the beach we realized one was also broken. The bikes were nice to have, however, upon arrival one had a flat tire and was missing the valve to air it up. Vacasa was responsive to messaging and eventually sent someone to repair the bike tire but said that we were out of luck on getting any kayaks and would have to pay for rental. They mentioned a couple of times that they manage over 70 properties in the area and they don't have time to inspect the properties for damaged items before new people check in. One representative said they would look into reimbursing us for kayak rentals since we specifically called to make sure they were available prior to booking and again prior to arrival, but the next rep said no. We won't be booking a place managed by Vacasa in future

Marco island was wonderful. The property was well equipped. Kitchen had all the necessary items to cook. The outdoor space was wonderful. The kayaks and bikes available made for fun morning/afternoon activities. The house was very clean and well decorated. Beds very comfortable. Felt like a home away from home. Everything as advertised, great place to stay at on Marco on the south end. Appreciated the bikes in the garage and shirt ride to the beach and restaurants. Superb communication offering early check in as well late late check out at reasonable rate.

Family Vacation

We were in town to visit my grandmother for her 93rd birthday. I stayed in the house with my nieces and nephews (all in their early 20's). It was a great house, plenty of space for all of us, great amenities, and wonderful location.

Great location and house

Loved the location. Very close to beaches and restaurants. Private cul de sac was nice and quiet. We loved having the kayaks to use. Pool and hot tub were nice too since it is so hot! Felt very spacious and was very clean. I would definitely stay again. Only thing I would suggest is there were no check out instructions - so providing that would be helpful.

We had a great week in this home. It was clean upon arrival and in a great location. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Loved the warm heated pool and use of the hot tub. Lots of towels which was great! The master shower was a little complicated to use. We used the beach chairs and a few of the bikes supplied. The house is just missing a few things like a vacuum and house manual to make it 5 stars!

Great property!

This home comes with lots of extras. Bikes, chairs, kayaks, video games in the den. It was a great stay because of the extra things it has. Did not get out much because of a tropical storm pattern that took much of our week. We hope to stay again in a better time of year and enjoy the surrounding area more. Location was perfect and was close to a Publix grocery store, the beach, and several restaurants. We used the kayaks one more before it rained and that was fun. We saw some amazing sunsets for the days it wasn’t raining. The pool was great and kept our kids occupied some of the time (even when it was raining). The bathrooms were good and I would love to take the kitchen home with us. We enjoyed our home away from home!
