Property : Chalet with 3 bedrooms + 2 bunk rooms. 2 ½ baths. Laundry, cable, internet and Wi-Fi. Wood stove. TV, DVD. Deck with gas grill. Sleeps up 10.
Located in Edelweiss village overlooking Middle Pea Porridge pond. Minutes from North Conway Shopping, Winter skiing, ice fishing, skating, and Summer swimming, hiking, climbing, etc . Steps to clean private beach. Includes Kayak and inner tubes. Minutes to multiple ski areas, Saco River tubing, hiking trails and shopping. The Edelweiss area is a few miles before North Conway so you avoid all of the traffic that backs up on route 16. This area is in a quiet wooded area overlooking a pond with sandy private beach that has parking as well. Beach has a float and toilet facilities. Book now for summer rentals!

This was a great get away for our family. Plenty of space and very cozy. It's a quick walk to the lake which was beautiful. We were able to use the kayak provided by the owner and had a great time. Paul was easy to work with and had lots of good recommendations for the area.

Great Time

We had a great time at Leeber Lodge. The house was great and a short walk to the beach. Paul and Ellen were great and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Fun vacation

We had a great long weekend at the Leeber Lodge. Plenty of space for two families. We enjoyed the pond, fire pit, and hiking in North Conway. Thank you for letting us stay!

Great family vacation spot

We had a wonderful long weekend at Leeber Lodge -- the house was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. The beach nearby was great -- the kids loved the floating dock. There were lots of things to do in the area as well. We hope to return again in the future.

Lovely beach area

Paul the owner was very accommodating! House was clean, lots of room for kids to sleep and have their own space downstairs. The beach was nice, sandy area for young and old to hang out.

Cozy Accommodations

We had a big group with kids and this was the perfect place to stay. There was plenty of room to spread out and the house was conveniently located. Paul, the owner, gave us great advice on where to go and was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We will come again!

Nice place

We had a nice stay at the Leeber Lodge. It was as described and had all the amenities one might need. There was enough space for 4 adults and 4 kids. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but were clean. Overall, the place was as expected and in a lovely area.

great stay in Madison, NH

Property was in a great location to explore Conway and North Conway. We all had a great time, plenty of room in the house and the beach was close. We enjoyed the deck and table outdoors and lots of TV's for all of us. No AC, but lots of fans to keep cool. Loved it.

Great lodge!

This was an amazing spot for myself and my family. We had a great communication with the owner Paul and everything was just moments away. The beach was a plus as most of us spent a lot of time there. All the beaches are clean and safe to swim in. The lodge itself was a great experience as well as the outdoor fire pit. We will be making this lodge a family spot.

Perfect for larger families!

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was close to one of the private beaches. My boys had fun taking the kayak out on the lake. Paul was great with communication and quick to reply when I had any questions. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area. Great place for bigger families.

Fanily retrip

Family return to area with many memories. House was great. 5 min walk to water but because of hill may not be suitable for physically challenged. Fully stocked. Plenty of room and grrat host. Will stay again. Fire pit was great and kids loved being in the woods.

Thank you for your kind words. We usually park at the beach so we can bring our beach gear and dont have to walk up the hill. Parking is allowed for our guests. Also we would recomend your group to any other owners. We would love to have you back anytime

A very good summer vacation

I stayed here with the wife, two kids (5 and 8) and the in-laws for ~10 nights and I could have stayed longer. Some Highlights: Basically a private beach two minutes away. The deck is such a nice place to spend time. It's high up enough to not be buggy and the trees are tall enough to give it ample shade in the morning and afternoon. A good Weber grill. 2.5 baths and lots of bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Family vaca

We had a great time. The location was awesome close to the water and shopping. Even close to an immediate care which I had a sudden trip to for my sons asthma. 12 min from the Saco river and much more. The fire permit needed was very easy and fast to obtain and Paul even left money for the trash which was very thoughtful. Thank you Paul we had a great stay and made many memories.

February break family ski trip

This property is very clean and well kept. The owner provides very detailed instruction for check in; check out , trash, wifi, snow plowing etc…. Which were very helpful. Our family of 5 adults and 3 teens were comfortable in the rooms and with the amenities. Everything was as described in the posting and the location is 30 mins or less to nearly everything We will return

Family vacation 2024

This property is located in a nice, friendly neighborhood and had plenty of space for our entire extended family with 6 adults and three littles . It had most everything we needed, however don’t forget your own towels as they are not provided. Shared private beach was wonderful and clean, but a few too many steps away for littles, stroller or wagon a must. Close to many great places to see but still felt tucked away. We were all sad to head home.

Great family ski vacation home base!

We had a wonderful time staying at Leeber Lodge over the holidays! Tons of sleeping space for our group of 8 (2 families with 4 kids ages 8-13), and the bonus tv room + bunks in the basement was great to let the kids have space of their own. The location was fantastic, quiet and private tucked in the woods (make sure you have a car that can handle snowy & icy dirt roads), but only 15 minutes to Conway and many ski resorts to choose from within 45 minutes - we especially loved Cranmore and the amazing views from Wildcat. Paul was a wonderful host, he communicated early & often and all the details were there in the check-in docs. We would happily stay again!

Great space for a big group

We had three families with Children staying at the chalet, mostly younger kids and one teenager. It's a very well laid out space with a couple of different zones to hang out in so you shouldn't feel like you're on top of each other especially if some folks are off skiing or playing in the snow. The kitchen is a little on the small side so we tried to keep it to two chefs in there at a time. The two bunkrooms were cozy and perfect for the younger kids, perhaps a little too cozy for my teenager but she managed :) Paul and Ellen are excellent hosts, and were very generous sharing information before and during the rental period. Everything is well labeled and there are lots of signs and info about everything you need to know.

Not recommended -- unsatisfactory accommodations and poor experience

The best thing to mention is that there are many rooms/beds here (though note they're packed in pretty tight as there isn't much overall square footage). The truth is this is just an old house in the woods. Not rustic, not charming -- simply old and rundown. Luckily as a group of old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while, we were more focused on catching up than we were the poor accommodations. But had I been with family I certainly would have been embarrassed. The owner was also quite unreasonable and very difficult to deal with. We were drawn in by the location and the low price but would have gladly paid much more to avoid this place and its owner. This house should only be considered as an option if you have a low budget, even lower expectations, and are just looking for a place with a lot of beds. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying elsewhere to avoid the hassle and disappointment.

This guest and his "group of friends" (all guys in their late 20s early 30s) left our property a mess and ruined a mattress which needed to be replaced, among other things. When he was charged extra for clean up and damage as specified in the rental agreement he was unhappy. All of our other guests for the past 4 years have been very happy as can be seen from our feedback. We always like to discuss the property in detail directly with all of our guests to make sure they will be happy with it before taking any payment. We communicate and are available to our guests 7/24 before during and after their stay. Our property is always clean and exceptionally tidy when our guests arrive. The house is not rundown as can clearly be seen in our photographs. We do ask that our guests respect our family vacation home and leave it in the same condition they find it. We are not full time landlords and we use this house ourselves and enjoy it. We have built a lot of great memories here and love to share it with like minded guests.

Our family has been vacationing in the White mountains since our children were small. We usually come for the Skiing but since we have owned this house we have discovered how nice the area is in the Summer. We have made a lot of memories with our children in this area that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. We are looking for like minded people who can appreciate the relaxation and fun to be experienced in this area with their families to rent from us.

This property is nice for All seasons. In Summer you are steps from a pristine warm pond with lovely sandy beach. Kayak and inner tubes included. Fall, enjoy the beautiful foliage and cool Fall air. Winter, have access to 6 ski mountains within 15 minute drive and experience all the night life of Apres Skiing. Spring, enjoy the river adventures minutes from the Saco River. Any season enjoy shopping and nightlife in the North Conway area without fighting the traffic

Peaceful overlook down onto private pond. Great for Families. Has Laundry and 2 full baths. Just a few minutes from Downtown but you feel like you are far from the crowds.
