About Property Manager
Joe and Eileen have been vacationing together in Cape May for many years, (and Joe has been since childhood). Subsequently, we brought our now-grown children here for many vacations and have done it all over the years: bike rentals, surrey rides, mini golf, rollerblading on the promenade, family reunions, deep sea fishing, strolling through town enjoying the architecture, playing at the children's arcade, and of course relaxing on the beautiful beach. It is truly a wonderful destination with something for everyone.

This was a great condo, very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished, The location could not be beat. We parked our car when we got there and didn't get back in it until we left. Very close to the beach, shopping and places to eat
Great Memories at the Terrace Suite
My church friends and I spent several days at the Puffin / Terrace Suite and totally enjoyed our stay. Eileen was great to work with. The apt was very nicely appointed and supplied for a wonderful stay in Cape May! You can't get any better than this for convenience to everything
enjoyable in Cape May, shopping, walking the gaslite streets, restaurants, 1/2 block to the ocean! If you want to be where it's at, I highly recommend a stay at the Puffin/ Terrace Suite!
We had an amazing stay at this suite. Everything we needed and more. Owners were easy to work with. Location was perfect!
Early fall in Cape May @ the Puffin
My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Puffin in the Terrace Suite to attend a family reunion/wedding from 9/18-9/21. As with all things in life there are Pro's, Con's and Neutral's with our stay.
Pro's: Excellent location! 1/2 block from the beach and Washington plaza/mall. Ton's of shoppiing and food places all around. Great breakfasts and bloody mary's right across the street. Eileen is great at offering up helpful tips and getting you situated and familiar with the area. The Terrace suite has plenty of room for 2 folks, but with only 1 bathroom it might be crowded with 4 folks...or you learn to share real quick! The parking spot in back was great to have to avoid finding street parking everyday. the front proch is awesome to sit and relax while watching the world go by.
Neutral's: The parking spot is not easy to get into unless you have some pretty good skills driving in reverse. You can't pull straight in, you must back in, unless you have a Mini I guess. For me it was no problem, my wife would have never been able to do it. So...keep that in mind if you are bringing a car. Not an issue, just the reality of it all. There isn't anyone there like a front desk, just in case you feel that is necessary. It truly isn't as Eileen will give you everything you need, but just in case.
Con's: If you are over 6ft tall, your head will hit the ceiling. The height of each room is not much more than 6'2", if you raise your arms above your head they will hit the ceiling. This makes for a warmer than usual temp and for me to see my face in the bathroom mirror (to shave) I had to squat down. Not the most comfy thing to do with a razor against your face. The upstairs residents (they live there all year round) can be heard everytime they take a step. So...6am you can here them rustling about.
Overall, the place was very good and I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a central place to see all that Cape May has. On a side note, we took the ferry from Lewes, DE to Cape May on our inbound leg. Well worth the time as it was relaxing and fun.
Thank You, Michael, for the 4 Star review you gave our condo after your stay in September. We appreciate the kind words and positive feedback, especially regarding location, parking availability, our beautiful porch and our customer service.
We would like to make a correction to one of your comments, though. Yes, the ceiling height is lower than today’s standard ceiling (was there even a standard ceiling height in 1906 when this house was built?). However, it is significantly higher than 6’2’’, and most certainly a 6 foot tall person would NOT hit their head on the ceiling.
Thank you again for your overall positive review and recommendation of our condo to guests looking for a central location to enjoy the beach, shopping, restaurants, tours, and all of the wonderful activities that Cape May has to offer!
A memorable Memorial Day!
My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed at this charming condo for our Memorial Day weekend getaway. It was perfect! This was our first family Cape May vacation. The condo was just as it was described on vrbo. Everything was clean and neat and well maintained. We spent evenings on the wrap around porch, watching the horse drawn carriages ride by and meeting new friends who were in the other condos. What Fun! We were able to walk to the beach, to Tommy's Hot Dogs, to y.b. (a new restaurant), and local stores. This condo is in a great location for a Cape May vacation. The owners were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about Cape May. I would highly recommend it and we plan on returning again. We didn't want to leave!
