The unit was very clean and well equipped

The unit was very clean and well equipped with a fantastic view of the bay. One of the highlights was watching the dolphins from the balcony. The pool area was nice with relaxing music playing in the background although the pool needed vaccuming. The location of the condo was excellent as we were there for Ironman 70.3. The beach, pier 60, restaurants, activities, etc were within walking distance and easily accessible. The living room furniture looked great. The dining room chairs were very comfortable as were the beds. We had a huge pile of towells delivered to our door the morning after we arrived which was great. Kitchen which was well stocked with plates, cups, etc. The rental staff were extremely helpful and provided all kinds of info about restaurants, where to get groceries, activities, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

Family vacation May 2022

We just returned from our Florida vacation. We enjoyed our stay at Dockside condo 602 so much. Everything was exactly as advertised. Condo was spacious , clean and well equipped. Excellent customer service from the rental company. We will return again.

What a pleasant place, the location was

What a pleasant place, the location was great, 5 minute or less walk to the beach, very clean with plenty of kitchen supplies to make your own meals if you choose to do that, would definitely stay there again

We enjoyed the stay other than the gals advertisement of a pull out sofa. There was not one. It made sleeping cramped for 6 people as the one room only had a full and twin bed. My 10 year old twins are 5 foot tall and sharing a bed is difficult but we managed with the king size bed. The air mattress wouldn’t blow up and was repaired with a band aid it looked like so it was useless to hold air. We stayed in another condo at Dockside last year and was much more pleased with it. It even had keyless entry so you didn’t have to worry about keys. Thank you.

Looked nice. Very clean

We liked the condo. However, drains were very slow moving. Beds were hard. Also a keyless entry needs to be added. Shouldn’t have to keep track of keys in 2018.

Perfectly serene place with unforgettable view

Nice, spacious apartment with a beautiful view. Very conveniently located and across the street from the beach. Clean and nicely kept. The management company was very easy to work with. I am definitely coming back.

We left after we arrived

Was disappointed after seeing pics on Homeaway.com. We booked it and then when we arrived found that there was a broken toilet, scratches and gouges on most walls. A pool shared with another building which we were told was not the case. Some outlets didnt work. Pictures were deceiving as to how it was really decorated. AC was not cold. Only benefit was that we got our deposit back

Lovely condo, beautiful view!

My family of four stayed in the condo for Spring Break. The condo is managed by a company and check in was easy. Any questions we had during our stay were answered right away. The condo is lovely and is a great space for a family. The balcony out front is shared, but only with the 3 condos on that side of the elevator, so we were usually the only ones out there. The balcony faces the intercoastal water and has a lovely view. It is a short walk to the beach on the Gulf side and the beach is spectacular. Lots to do in the area and the condo is in a perfect location. As we were there during Spring Break, there was a fair bit of noise from the street at night, so if you are a light sleeper, earplugs might be helpful. However, the condo itself is very quiet. I would give this property a 4 and a half star rating...it would be a 5 star if not for a very minor issue...the beds are just not as comfortable as you would expect with this type of property. I know others have mentioned this is their reviews as well, and new beds would make a huge difference. Other than that...we had no complaints and were so happy with our choice.

Not bad but won't go back

The top 2 things about this condo are the location and the phenomenal view of the harbor. The dining area looks out to the water and it really has as million dollar view. It is a short walk to the beach and there are restaurants and ice cream parlours along the way. The layout of the unit was functional and the space was large enough to accommodate our party of 2 couples. The biggest problem we had with this unit is the air conditioning. We felt misled because only upon check-in were we told that we could not turn it down below 82 degrees or else the AC unit will freeze up and they will have to shut down the air altogether to defrost it. Oh, and we would have to pay for that. Seeing that it was over 100 degrees at Clearwater Beach, keeping the condo at 82 or above meant that it was never cool enough. It was never comfortable and it made sleeping at night difficult. Had we known about this restriction beforehand, we would have looked somewhere else. Cable TV was not working for the first day. While I commend the responsiveness of the management office, they weren't able to send someone out to fix the problem until the end of the 2nd day. Also, the dishwasher was pretty beat up. The door never stayed closed, which made for a dangerous tripping hazard in the kitchen. Overall, we liked the location and the view but we would not rent this unit again. The unit is more worn than the pictures look.

Great location and view but less impressed with the condo.

The beds are dreadful! Don't expect to get a good nights sleep at all. There are also no fans in this unit and you can not turn the air down below a certain temp so it is hot and uncomfortable when you are trying to sleep in the lumpy beds. The kitchen was under stocked and had to wash dishes after every use or you would run out. We didn't ever have an opportunity to use the dish washer. The unit did have a washer and dryer but that was a joke as well. The washer left clothes so wet that it took at least 2 hours to try to dry them. We loved the location and the view. We have stayed in other condos in this building and have loved them. This unit definitely needs some update mainly starting with the beds.

The view is awesome & it is in walking distance to the beach. Restaurants in the area are great. The condo is comfortable and easy to fix meals. It's great to have the washer and dryer.

excellent location!

Very nicely appointed condo, had everything we needed. Found beach towels too! Great view on the balcony to sir and read and easy breakfast. Easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Would stay again.

The perfect spot

The condo was awesome. The people who take care of the property are great. The checkin was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed the wonderful views from the sixth floor of gulf and inter coastal waters. The only problem was the time we spent here went too darn fast and before we new it, ti was over. Can't wait to come back and do it again.

Fantastic staff and rental

I already posted my review, but mistakenly forgot to mention the staff at the rental office. After a long drive from Michigan, and a couple of extreme traffic jams near the end, we were tired and cranky at the time of arrival to the office. We signed in and received our keys and parking passes promptly. The staff gave us all the information that we needed for our stay, and they were all so fun and friendly, that they helped us quickly move past the frustration of our journey and put us in the right mood to fully enjoy our vacation! Thank you!

Met and exceeded our expectations

Fantastic property for our family of 4. The view from the porch has to be one of the best in Clearwater! Perfect for coffee watching the sunrise behind the bridge. The wild life was always apparent, between the wide variety of birds, some of which were always stalking the fish in the bay. The fish jumping completely out of the water creating large splashes throughout the day and night. We saw Dolphins on multiple days and sting rays on several occasions. The pool is within view of our porch, so we could always see our teenagers while they swam. There are plenty of lounge chairs by the pool and on the deck by the bay for the times that we didn't feel like going to the beach. The beach is a couple of blocks walk, not bad at all, and the white sand is fantastic! There are plenty of dining and drinking options in very close proximity. Before we booked, I was really trying to get a gulf view location, I am confident that most would prefer our fantastic bay view like we did. Lastly, the unit and parking are perfect for a relaxing stay. Everything you need to make a great base for your beach location!

Never again will I stay in a hotel after experiencing the freedom and comfort of staying in the Dockside Condo rental. The property was easily located from the directions given to me by the extremely helpful staff at Florida Beach Rentals. The rooms were spacious and the property was extremely clean. The owner had left hairdryers, irons and more than enough cooking utensils. The condo was a 5 minute walk from the beach and also close enough to the centre of town to walk in. Sitting on the balcony in the early morning and in the evening was an experience. We relaxed, had a glass of wine, watched the dolphins and the pelicans and even had a few amazing thunderstorms thrown in. Try the evening dinner cruise which was great and a favourite of our was the Tropix beach bar at the Quality Hotel on the Beach. Best Rumrunners in Clearwater and amazingly friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be going back and would recommend that you try it.

Fantastic view of the Bay

We were impressed of the fantastic view of the Bay from this condo unit. It was relaxing to sit outside on the balcony. The decor of this condo was in good taste and very clean that it made us feel at home. They had supplied dish soap and paper products to get you started till you had chance to get to store if you needed more. (other places we stayed didn't do this) The few residents of this condo unit we talked to were very friendly and helpful along with the rental service giving ideas of places to go while here. We always enjoy Crabby Bills to dine at when we come to Clearwater beach area but we found Gondolier Italian Restaurant having a great menu to order take out or delivery if you didn't want to dine in. They were fantastic! (The rental agency suggested them to try- Thank You!) Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance from this condo unit.. We all Enjoyed our stay at this Condo and want to come back again!

Enjoyed Dockside Condos in Clearwater Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Dockside Condos in Clearwater Beach. We had plenty of room for our family and we were all very comfortable. The view was outstanding. Each day we watched dolphins playing in the bay. Our view of the fireworks were the best at the beach!! We especially appreciated the staff at Dockside. They were extremely attentive to all of our needs. We will definitely return next year!

Having some lotion soap in the Kitchen

Having some lotion soap in the Kitchen and bathrooms would be a nice in expensive touch. Please suggest to owner. Otherwise this was a very pleasant experience for our family.
