Great Stay for a Fishing Tourney

We used this property for a place to stay while a couple guys fished a tournament in the area. The property was just as described, well maintained and had great communication. We had 4 adults (1 couple and 2 singles) and it worked so well for our visit. Totally recommend this place!

Awesome trip with family

What a great place. Almost dont want to give it a great rating would love to keep it to myself. We were able to keep our pontoon at the public dock so we didnt have to pull it out every day we were there. The kids were also able to swim there. There was drinking water, ice, games and firewood ready for us. Super stocked with blankets and towels. Only a few hic ups....the fire ring was full and had broken glass around it so i went to town and got a spade to dig it out and the t.v. in the loft didnt work, but we werent there to watch t.v. We caught blue gills, big bass, and crappies, and on July 5th all the people who live on that lake had firework shows going off all around July 4th had gotten rained out.

We had an enjoyable stay overall. The cabin is definitely rustic and could use some updating, but it generally had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the easy access to the public dock and enjoyed drinking coffee on the screened-in porch and playing games in the loft above the garage. The host was very generous in providing plenty of bottled water, which was helpful since the water at the property isn’t ideal for drinking or cooking. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of sleeping space for our group.A couple of things to be aware of: if you’re staying in the loft above the garage, you have to go outside to access the bathroom in the main house. The shower in the house is also quite small. Overall, this is a simple, rustic property rather than an updated or polished vacation home, but it served our needs and we appreciated the amenities and location.
