If you want to go out exploring, the town of Longville has their famous turtle races every Wednesday. It's a unique and entertaining event for both kids and adults. The town of Hackensack is a great place to access the Paul Bunyan Trail, a scenic multi-use trail that's perfect for biking, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Renting bikes and exploring the trail can be a wonderful family activity. A little further away, the town of Walker is known for its several dining options. The town is situated near beautiful lakes and natural scenery. In the evening, back at the cabin, gather around the fire pit for marshmallow roasting and storytelling.
