You are welcome to share our convenient, family-owned condo at the base of the mountain just seconds from the Zephyr Chair Lift. It’s only moments from picking up your skis in the locker room, walking out the back door past the hot tubs, locking on your skis and a three second ski down the access slope to the chair lift. None of the hassle of tromping on and off buses with your skis, poles and boots, your significant other’s skis, boots and poles, kids’ skis boots and poles, slogging and slipping through parking lots, wondering when or if you’re ever going to get to the lift. It is truly “the way you dreamed it would be someday”. It is ski luxury!! Exactly what is needed for a ski vacation.
If you want to avoid the fast food menus at the crowded ski lodges, just ski down the slopes and ease into your condo. Enjoy lunch on your fourth floor balcony with live entertainment as you watch the skiers come down Hughes. It’s convenient, private and features all the amenities of home. The kitchen is stocked with basic food prep items, the beds are upgraded with luxury linens and the towels in the bath are super plush.
Enjoy the added convenience of underground parking along with free shuttle service to the town of Winter Park or the shopping center in Frasier.

Convenient, clean and well-managed
We stayed at this unit for a late-spring weekend ski trip. The location was fabulous - steps to dining and the lifts. The owner Bruce was extremely detailed in his access instructions, and very responsive once we arrived. Will definitely stay here again.
Guests always give laudatory descriptions about the convenience of the location of my side by side ski in and ski out condos. There is no doubt that location is a primary factor in one's vacation plans, as it should be. It's the location that allows quick access to the Zephyr Express Lift, the restaurants, ice skating pond, tubing hill and quietness. Condos at a location that can be private and quiet is what guests want. Vacationers don't want to be on the second floor with a roadhouse just below them or having to look out their windows and see the three sided shelters around the trash barrels. They desire quietude, family communication and the enjoyment of each other. These are all meaningful factors but there are equally important aspects, location to the lifts and ability to ski in and ski out are equally important. My condos allow guests to pick up their skis from their private locker, walk out the back door and 20 feet past the hot tubs to clamp on their skis and "swoosh" 3 seconds down the access trail to the Zephyr. It is a "time saver" for family time enjoying each other on the slopes, experiencing mutual fun and experiences with family members and supporting each other as they improve their ski competency. It's a great time and instead of having that time consumed pulling a wagon with skis on it around the Resort to find a ski lodge to put boots on is a waste of that precious family experience. It was stated that I give "detailed instructions" and yes, I make myself available when guests arrive because I want them to feel that my involvement doesn't end when the rental fee is paid. Coming to a large resort when one doesn't know the territory is extremely time consuming, just like finding ski trails that fit the competency level of the family. I give the best details possible about the ski trails, ski rental stores, restaurants on the Resort, restaurants for kids, theaters, bowling and even places to do snow-cat riding, ice skating, etc. I have been accused of over-detailing but I consider family ski vacation time as sacrosanct and I do everything to support it. It's the same philosophy when I buy $2000 pull out couches, provide the best bathroom amenities, large thick spa towels for the hot tubs, and a completely stocked kitchen. It's support for the guest and the sanctity of family time in a special place with a shared family experience. That's why my condos can be an addictive experience. Once you're here nothing else will do.
Super location and wonderful host
We had an amazing time our first stay in Winter Park. Condo was comfy and well stocked. Bruce gave us very helpful information. Look forward to visiting again.
No doubt my side by side condos are a "super location" and an exceptional convenience to the slopes for expert skiers as well as children. After taking skis and poles out of the private locker you'll only have 20 feet to walk past the hot tubs, clamp on your or kid's skis and "Swoosh", 3 seconds down the access trail to the Zephyr Express Lift. There is no need to hunt for a wagon to put kid's skis and poles to pull around for 15 minutes to find a crowded lodge to put on ski boots. It's all right there for you in the private locker room. When you want to return to your condo all you have to do is ski down Hughes, stop at the "SLOW" sign, angle right in a controlled "tuck" down the last 50 feet around the end of the access trail and ski right up to the hot tubs, pop off your skis and walk the last 20 feet past the hot tubs to your ski locker. Besides this exceptional convenience you'll have the unprecedented opportunity to use your vacation time on the slopes instead of dragging and carrying skis and poles around or standing in lines at ski lodge looking for an open table to buy a hamburger, chips and bottle of water for $15.00 because you can comfortably ski back to your condo, put your hamburger on the balcony's infra red grill and have a great fresh lunch at less than half the price and time. The time factor may not seem to be a critical variable but just think a moment about the time you spend standing around a ski lodge waiting for a table, waiting in line to get a burnt hamburger, and a $2.50 bottle of water. The importance of "time conservation" is critical because sharing the experience of family time is what you have a ski vacation for. You'll be able to talk about the experience, enjoy the family engagement and shared experiences to remember for years. My guest assesses me as a "wonderful host" and I definitely try to be supportive and helpful so that guests can have time on the slopes with each other rather than having to invest their time trying to find the best slopes for the competency levels of family members. That's why I send them a "Tips for a Top Skiing Experience" which informs my guests about the slopes and also includes the "double secret" information locals keep to themselves related to the best restaurants, rental prices on ski gear and the numerous snow activities on and off the Resort. Great Spring Break Trip
The condo is right on the mountain. A few steps out of the ski locker and you are ready to go. The owner is super helpful and provides plenty of information about the unit, mountain, and surrounding area. There are plenty of towels and sheets in the unit along with the essentials to get you started. We had a great stay.
Adam's and Warner's evaluation says it all!! There is nothing like the efficiency of time like staying in one of my ski in ski out condos. Picking up one's skis out of their personal ski locker, walking out 20 feet past the hot tubs, clamping on one's skis and "swoosh" 3 seconds down the access trail to the Zephyr Express Lift and you're on your trip up the mountain. Time is used to be on the mountain ski trails not pulling a wagon load of skis, poles and other gear around looking for a ski lodge that is not filled up with people hunting for a place to sit and put on ski boots. In one of my condos you can put the boots on without having to dodge anyone, then walk up the hall past 3 or 4 doors, get in the elevator, take two floors down and into the private ski locker room. Calculate the amount of money and valuable time spent standing in a 3 sided shelter on route 40 waiting to get a Village Shuttle ride to the Resort. Then you have to hike up to a ski lodge to put on your boots, drag your skis and poles over to the Zephyr Express Lift and finally get on the lift. No wonder so many skiers become frustrated as they see their valuable time slipping away. Location is on your side when you stay at one of the Baker Family Condos and this means more time on the slopes and a much more enjoyable ski vacation. Besides that you'll have a ready available hot tub, then a great shower in your condo with heavy towels in the shower and great spa towels to take to the hot tubs. One thinks and feels as if it is a fantasy but it is not, it's the fact that everything is there for you to have the freedom to enjoy yourself, friends or family. So beware, Baker Family condos can be an addictive experience !!
Great Location and Great Owner
Location is the best you can get at Winter Park. Great views on the porch and easy access to the ski lockers. Underground parking was very nice and the owner goes out of his way to be a good host. We’ll definitely be back!
Keith is totally correct regarding the "Great Location" of my condos and his inclusion of my communications with him as placing me in the same category of a "Great Owner" is a confirmation related to many things. I think the primary factor of being a great owner is that I make it a point to provide all the information a guest requests no matter how minor it may seem to the guest doesn't make it a minor issue to me. Keith and his wife have invested their valuable time and money to formulate a ski vacation and my goal is to exceed their expectations. That's the best way to create the trust needed for a working relationship. Just because I have a premium location snuggled up to Hughes, the primary slope on the mountain which leads down to the Zephyr Express Lift is not sufficient. It also requires a condo that is exceptionally clean, provides comfortable beds such as the queen size pull out couch with an air mattress that can be set for softness or firmness, whichever way the guest wants. I also have purchased the best amenities, for the bathroom that one can't bring on the airplanes anymore, a full service kitchen and even grab bars in the shower so one can feel safe stepping in and out. Keith's evaluation of my condo being a "great location" means that he does not have to spend time lugging skis and poles from a condo somewhere on the Resort to ride the Zephyr Lift. Neither does he have to take the family to one of the open area bus stands to ride a town shuttle bus to get to Winter Park Resort like guests who rent condo in Fraser, the next village 6 or 7 miles West of the Resort. It's a pleasure to have Keith and his wife mention the small back porch with the infrared grill for their use and for them to enjoy watching skiers going up Hughes or coming down the mountain. These are the important factors that make a family ski vacation an experience that is not only enjoyable for the moment but also a special family engagement that can be talked about and reminisced time and again. It's a pleasure to know that I have been able to support family vacation hopes and plans. Keith's statement that, "they will definitely be back" is confirmation that the Baker Family Ski in and Ski Out Premium Condos are the best! That's why I caution prospective guests to understand that my condos can be an addictive experience because once you stay a Baker Slopeside, nothing else will do. Make your reservation now for 2019!

Perfect for families with two young kids
The ski in, ski out really helps keep the mornings relaxed. You don’t have to rush everyone to get on the mountain in tome for ski lessons, then at the end of the day, restaurants and activities are steps away.
Here is a short but financial oriented review founded on a cost-benefit ratio. How true this review is!! This evaluation is the elite standard that many of my guests' apply when assessing their decision to select one of my side by side condos for their ski vacation. These individuals expect a convenient location, a place with a welcoming environment, seamless availability to their private ski locker, hot tubs, restaurants, and a cleanliness that mirrors their home. They also expect quality beds and mattresses, a spic and span shower without any mold around the tub, bathroom towels that are premium quality, and equally nicely weaved spa towels to take to the hot tubs. That's why I purchased $2000 queen size pull out couches with air mattresses so guests could select the degree of softness or firmness they like, spa towels that are 36 inches by 48 with depth weave, a clean kitchen with full utensils, ceiling fans and humidifiers, quality amenities in the bathroom with safety grab bars and even an infra red grill on the porch. This guest's statement of a "relaxed" morning is related to the convenience that can be enjoyed by all in a relaxed manner instead of having to worry and scurry after finally finding a table in a crowded ski lodge to put on kid's boots. The frustration level so often related with a vacation is avoided and the pleasure and anticipation of a great day beckons the children and adults. Another factor mentioned is the availability of good restaurants, the ice skating pond, tubing hill, snow mobile rides, etc., with Alpenglow massage for the adults or children. All these activities and more are available to the family by walking to the easy access locations in the Resort. The premier location is certainly part of the enjoyment of staying in one of my condos but it is also much more than that, it is also the quality of the good goods I make it a point to provide. That's why so many guests have been returning for the past 6 years and why many bring a friends or extended family members to have privacy and yet the enjoyment of sharing vacation time.
Perfect location, clean and simple
Location is perfect. Walk out the door put on your skies and ski down to the chairlift. Convenient ski lockers were great. Condo had everything we needed with a well appointed kitchen. Place was clean and simple and great for skiing all day. Hot tub just downstairs and walking distance to several restaurants and shops. After a long day of skiing we got massages at Alpenglow just downstairs. It’s not the newest accommodations but we would definitely stay again. Parking is $14 a day.

Additional information about rental rates
There is no "pet fee". No pets are allowed as per Zephyr Mountain Lodge Management. $65 cleaning charge is included in the rental fee. The underground parking charge of $14 per night is an additional charge to be paid by you as you enter and your credit card is charged when you exit at departure. The $200 damage deposit may be included with the last payment.
