You are welcome to share our convenient, family-owned condo at the base of the mountain just seconds from the Zephyr Chair Lift. It’s only moments from picking up your skis in the locker room, walking out the back door past the hot tubs, locking on your skis and a three second ski down the access slope to the chair lift. None of the hassle of tromping on and off buses with your skis, poles and boots, your significant other’s skis, boots and poles, kids’ skis boots and poles, slogging and slipping through parking lots, wondering when or if you’re ever going to get to the lift. It is truly “the way you dreamed it would be someday”. It is ski luxury!! Exactly what is needed for a ski vacation.

If you want to avoid the fast food menus at the crowded ski lodges, just ski down the slopes and ease into your condo. Enjoy lunch on your fourth floor balcony with live entertainment as you watch the skiers come down Hughes. It’s convenient, private and features all the amenities of home. The kitchen is stocked with basic food prep items, the beds are upgraded with luxury linens and the towels in the bath are super plush.

Enjoy the added convenience of underground parking along with free shuttle service to the town of Winter Park or the shopping center in Frasier.

Katie and her family were able to find a ""free" ha!,ha!,LOL) weekend and they fortunately found the perfect place for the family to have a ski weekend. Of course, the location of my side by side condos which are snuggled up to Hughes, the primary slope coming down the mountain to the Zephyr Express Lift is without a doubt a plus because the precious vacation time can be used on the slopes rather than having to wait in a hut along rout 40 for the Resort's shuttle bus to finally come along and pick you up. Of course, there is always the real possibility that the bus will be full and will go right past. Then, when you finally arrive at the Resort you have to begin the grueling process of lugging skis, boots, poles and other gear around to try and find a small place in a crowded ski lodge to begin the process of putting on boots which is usually in an exceptionally inconvenient spot. Just think of the time you waste trying to even get to the Resort and then the frustration you have lugging ski gear to find a spot to put the gear on, especially when children are involved. That's the type of valuable family vacation time that is forever wasted. By staying in one of my Slopeside condos Katie was able to enjoy that time skiing and engaging in the joy of a family vacation. This type of a shared family experience will be talked about and remembered for years to come which is what a weekend family ski vacation can provide. It's not just the location of my condos but also the fact that my sanitary cleaning service maintains the condo so everything is spic and span. There's no mold around the shower, the rugs, kitchen and bedding is all in great shape and I have even purchased air mattresses for the pull out couch so the guest can make the mattress the degree of firmness or softness they want. I also provide quality amenities, a full service kitchen with plastic cups so you can take beverages to the hot tubs, humidifiers and a ceiling fan for guests' comfort. The goal of renting my condos is to provide a feeling of having a home-away with the feeling that you belong and that the relaxation and fun you've had while there is going to be a positive memory for years to come. The fact is my goal is not just to meet one's expectations but rather to exceed them. That's why I have so many families and friends who rent from me year after year. Remember, if you stay in my condo you might be activating an addictive experience.

Location, location, location. This condo was the best when it comes to location. The condo was great for our family of 3. We spent a long weekend in condo and had a great time. Bruce was easy to get ahold of if we had any questions. He sent us a very detailed email for our arrival which made our checking in process very easy. He also left us "friend vouchers" which gave us an amazing discount on our lift tickets! That was a nice surprise upon our arrival. The only negative comment I can think of is the washer/dryer is not in unit. BUT...Bruce was very up front about the washer/dryer and told us exactly where the laundry room was. It was easy to use and find. Never had to wait to wash our ski clothes, but I am thinking on a holiday weekend this could pose an issue. We will be back! Looking at the first of 2019! Thanks!!

Owner's Response: Hughes is the main slope leading down the mountain to the Zephyr Express Lift and my condos are snuggled right up to the slope. In fact you can look out the windows or sit on the balcony and see skiers and borders riding up the lift or coming down the mountain. However, this prime location has many significant positive factors such as making it possible for the guests to have easy access to the slope and to the Zephyr Lift. Therefore they can take their skis out of the private locker room, walk out 20 feet past the hot tubs, clamp on their skis and "swoosh" 3 seconds later they're at the Lift. Again, family's are able to spend time together skiing rather than lugging skis, poles and gear around. The importance of this is that family vacation time is available for enjoying a family experience, an experience that they will remember and reminisce about for years and enjoy every minute of it. When they want to return to their condo they have easy access to it and to the fully complete utensils and other items for their personal lunch rather than having to spend their time standing in line waiting for a table in a crowded ski lodge. Another important aspect is that we have a sanitary cleaning service that keeps our family condos spick and span. The condo's ambiance tells the guest that their space is ready for them to enjoy and to be able to relax because they are well taken care of. I maintain top of the line amenities and am continually upgrading all aspects in my condos. This year it was new La-Z-boy queen size pull out couches with air mattresses so that guests could select the firmness or softness they like. I have amenities in the bathroom that one can't carry on airplanes, great towels for the bathroom and also 36 inch by 50 spa towels you can take to the hot tubs, we provide plastic cups to take beverages to the tubs and I have even installed grab bars in the shower to make it safer. The comments about it being "easy" to work with me is a meaningful comment because most guests have numerous questions and concerns regarding their ski vacation and I always send my personal descriptions related to the various competency demands the skier should have to be able to enjoy the slopes they select. This helps the guests tremendously in being able to use their time skiing rather than trying out and hunting around, losing a full day to find slopes they can enjoy. Also, whenever I have vouchers I share them with the guests. Come and enjoy !

Perfect for families with two young kids

The ski in, ski out really helps keep the mornings relaxed. You don’t have to rush everyone to get on the mountain in tome for ski lessons, then at the end of the day, restaurants and activities are steps away.

Perfect location, clean and simple

Location is perfect. Walk out the door put on your skies and ski down to the chairlift. Convenient ski lockers were great. Condo had everything we needed with a well appointed kitchen. Place was clean and simple and great for skiing all day. Hot tub just downstairs and walking distance to several restaurants and shops. After a long day of skiing we got massages at Alpenglow just downstairs. It’s not the newest accommodations but we would definitely stay again. Parking is $14 a day.

Great place and great location

Excellent property. True definition of a ski in/out property. The pictures are true to form. My family and I really enjoyed each day. The location is just the best. The condo was clean and well appointed for sleeping and any kitchen needs. The building was well maintained. I would highly recommend this condo for any couple or small group looking to make the most of their winter park trip! Bruce was excellent to work with. He is thorough and easy to contact. Owner's Response: What a pleasant and enjoyable read. The statement stating the positive aspects of the location and the fact that it is a true ski in, ski out property is exactly correct. It makes such a difference for the guests to be able to easily access the Zephyr Lift and then be able to ski down Hughes, the main slope coming down the mountain to the the hot tub area and then into their condo. That's only one of the pluses, the others are described as a condo like home, clean and well taken care of like a family home. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of our guests. This begins when they first contact me and I describe the condo, its prime location and answer all questions honestly without pressure. We also feel the ambiance of the condo is a meaningful part of the guest family's vacation because we know the interaction and enjoyment of family and friends will be part of this family's memories for years to come. It is this type of a family experience that brings our guests back year after year. The comment regarding this condo being an excellent choice for a family or small group is quite true because we have two condos side by side and families enjoy the fact that both condos are available for family or friends to ski and enjoy the experience and yet there is close but private space when it is needed or wished for by a family. My family and I are pleased that we are able to share our condos with other families and that we are able to facilitate the stay by providing top of the line amenities and a convenient location. In a way we have the personal pleasure of this and many other family ski vacations.

Wonderful trip! Easy access to slopes!

Great location to hit the slopes. Condo was sufficient for our needs. Bruce was very helpful with giving tips for the area as this was our first time skiing Winter Park. We had a wonderful experience and would rent here again!!

Owner's Response: It's always a pleasure to introduce guests who have never been to Winter Park before to one of my Premier Located Slopeside condos. I have the best location on the mountain which allows families easy access the Zephyr Lift which is only 3 seconds away from their the private locker room. To get to the lift all one has to do is walk 20 feet out the door, walk past the hot tubs, clamp on the skis and "swoosh" 3 seconds down the access trail to the Zephyr. You are able to spend your time on the slopes rather than waiting in a "road hut" hoping that the bus won't be filled up and you'll have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes for another bus to come along. Besides the convenience of location I have top of the line amenities, new queen size pull out couches with the capability to use the air mattresses to the softness or firmness you desire. There is also a full service kitchen with all the items you need, including plastic cups to take to the hot tubs where glass items are not allowed. This is only one of the amenities we provide because we have top of the line items in the bathroom such as toothpaste you no longer can bring on the airlines. We have even installed grab bars to provide safety. Corrie's statement that her family will be back again is confirmation that the family experienced a wonderful time on their first sojourn at Winter Park. It's the location, amenities and the information I provide for guests that support the family's engagement in the mutual experience of skiing together and experiencing the camaraderie that will be remembered and talked about and enjoyed for years to come. It is without a doubt a pleasure to work with travelers who want the best for their family vacation and our family condos are pleased that our location, amenities and top of the line goods are available for them to have their needs met. I send guests "Tips for a Top Skiing Experience" where I outline the best trails for them based on their ski/board competency, the best restaurants on the mountain, Winter Park Village, Fraser, and West to Tabernash. I also include the options available for them related to ski-gear rentals. My goal is to exceed the expectations of the guests and that is what Corrie says when she assesses her stay as a "wonderful experience" and that, " her family will come again". That's because it's more than the "great location", it's because everything we do is to support the guests. Caution:these condos can be addictive.

A great ski-in and ski-out unit

We really enjoyed our stay in this ski-in and ski-out unit - it is super clean, cozy and well-equipped. The owner Bruce is very easy to work with and helpful. The bed is very comfortable, linens are great quality, kitchen is well stocked, amenities are top of the line, and everything works! The room is bright with a nice view of the slope and lift. We are not surprised why Bruce's unit has received so many positive ratings. The only thing that is out of the owner's control is that we, the guests, had to pay for the parking ($14 a day) according to Aspen Management. Apparently, it was the new policy. Despite that, we had a great time and we will definitely rent this place again when we are back to Winter Park!

Owner's Response: A couple of years ago Nicole's family stayed in one of our condos. Having her family rent again was a nice reunion because she was quite excited returning for her family ski vacation. Guests become enthusiastic staying in one of "side by side" Slopeside condos. We focus ourselves to make the condo itself a pleasant experience and the guest's pleasure at the location is also a point that all guests find a great plus because there is no lugging ski gear around and the ski vacation time can be spent enjoying the family experience of skiing together rather than lugging skis around. We also hire the best sanitary cleaning service so there is never mold around the shower, etc. The amenities are all of good quality and although it might seem not really too important we make sure the spa towels for the hot tubs are real thick towels, about 28" by 52" and are of good thick quality. If you or your kids are hot tubers having a good quality spa towel is essential! We assess our family condos to be an important part of the guests' ski vacation because the time sharing a family experience will be talked about and reminisced for years because of the comfort of our condo . Because we have such good quality amenities and make sure that we are available to answer questions regarding the area's restaurants, insider information about the best ski slopes and how to return to Winter Park from Mary Jane we make the ski vacation one that is a real treat for out guests and they have to fumble around for two days learning where to get to the slopes that are best for them. That's why we communicate openly with prospective guests so that we become a resource for those that select one of our family condos. In fact, it is a joke for our previous guests to give their friends a warning that the Baker Family Condos are in reality an addictive experience because once you've stayed in one of the condos, nothing else will do. A nice thing is that in even one year we get to form a meaningful association with our guests and one of the very positive things is that previous guests return year after year and very much enjoy referring extended family member and friends to rent our condos.

There is no "pet fee". No pets are allowed as per Zephyr Mountain Lodge Management. $65 cleaning charge is included in the rental fee. The underground parking charge of $14 per night is an additional charge to be paid by you as you enter and your credit card is charged when you exit at departure. The $200 damage deposit may be included with the last payment.
