Morning Wood - Sunny Catskills Cottage near Hudson

Stunning at any time of the year, Morning Wood is a gorgeous 4-bedroom country home central to everything the Catskills and Hudson Valley has to offer.

During the day, hike the picturesque mountains, go apple picking, and grub on delicious food in Hudson. Once the sun sets, the backyard becomes alive with string lights twinkling overhead, setting the ideal ambiance for an evening with friends on the patio or s’mores around the fire pit.
The space
There aren’t many places as cozy or peaceful as this. The home’s interior combines both traditional and modern elements, including an open concept main level with hardwood floors and endless natural light.

The room configurations is as follows:
Bedroom 1 - King Bed
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed
Bedroom 3 - Queen Bed
Bedroom 4 - Four Twin beds (double bunk beds)

Looking to work from home? The home has blazing fast wifi and a dedicated workspace in Bedroom 2.

The main floor is open concept where you will find a beautifully designer-furnished living area, dining area, and kitchen. Inside the kitchen, you will find all the silverware, pots, pans, etc. you need to pretend like you’re Gordon Ramsay. Not to mention a brand new Breville espresso machine, along with a standard drip coffee machine if that is your preference.

The basement is furnished with two sofas, a tv with Roku, endless boardgames, an extra sitting area to eat or play, and a cozy wood-burning stove. There is also an additional full bathroom downstairs.

The garage houses an olympic size ping pong table and is also where you can find extra tables, chairs, and benches, and of course cornhole!

Outside you will find a huge deck with two different seating areas, as well as an expansive backyard with a fire pit, adirondack chairs, a tree stump bartop, a hammock, and more seating.

In terms of amenities, we’ve got you covered. Iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, workout bands, and more.

Guest access:
As part of the Sleepy Hollow Lake community, guests of Morning Wood will have full access to the lake, two swimming pools, tennis courts, a basketball court, volleyball court and driving range at no additional cost.
*Please note, the swimming pool are only open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Other things to note:
In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with exterior cameras. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior and garage, and there are no cameras on the inside.

Pets under 50 lbs are allowed at an additional charge of $100.

With the exception of the backyard, this is a smoke-free home. Any violation of this policy will result in a fine and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized party/event will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Making noise during quiet hours (10 PM - 7 AM) could induce a fine up to $1,000 from the community and will be passed on to the guest.
