Salty Dogz is an adorable 2 bedroom, 2 bath trailer with addition on Salt Works Road. This site, L06, is convenient to everything! The home accommodates 4 with 1 bedroom having a queen size bed and the other bedroom having a full size bed. There are 2 bathrooms in the home that feature showers for relaxation after a day at the beach or a full day of sightseeing along the coast. This home is in a wonderful location if you have family or friends staying in the camper section of Ocean Lakes, it is also walkable to the pools, beach and playgrounds! The owners provide 3 bikes for guests to use within the park, beach chairs and umbrellas. This home is pet friendly (2) and golf carts are available for rental from Ocean Lakes. Perhaps you would like to consider this home for your next stay! This home is available for nightly rental all year round, so if you have limited vacation days, this is the perfect opportunity for you to be in Ocean Lakes but not have to stay for 7 days. Ocean Lakes does charge separately for parking, $15 per day, per car.

Clean and Close to Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was provided and the property was very well maintained. Loved that it was so close to the beach, store, water park, etc.

Property Manager was awesome to deal with and very helpful if we needed her. The house was great if you take your dogs as the front porch has a gate that they can't get out of and into the road. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about the property.

Great vacation

Everything was just as advertised and the short walk to the beach was just that. A perfect location for us to go everywhere in Myrtle Beach.

Clean, very close to beach. Found everything we needed to feel at home. Will definitely return to this property. We frequent Ocean Lakes 2-3 times a year, so we have our favorite properties to stay at- this will def be added to our list.

Cute & functional

The salty dogs was pretty much exactly as the photo displayed. It was a great location, so close to the beach every day, lots of security on the park never a worry, super fantastic that they accept pets. My big dog adored, laying out on the deck, barking at the squirrels, & cats !! Then chatting it up with the fellow furs walking by, it was a great place to stay.

Very Nice Stay

I stayed at the Salty Dawg over the Thanksgiving holiday to be close to family and I was able to bring my fur baby so that was a definite plus. The host was very responsive to a few questions I had and ensured I had the info needed for a comfortable stay. Check in was fast and efficient. The beach cottage was cute and well stocked with everything that you need to prepare meals. There are two bedrooms and two full baths so there’s plenty of room There’s nice seating on the front porch that provides a view of the beach.

Decent place for the price only issue is placed seemed very dirty. Floor made your feet black if you walked on it bare feet. Had to clean it ourselves, wiped with rag first day we got their and it was black. Used coffee was still in maker and chairs had stains and just felt dirty. Other than that location was great and communication was good

I am sorry you had this experience. I went back and looked thru messages, phone calls and texts, I don’t see where you reached out to us about anything. I would have sent cleaning staff back over to make sure it was to your liking. We will be updating furniture at the end of the season. I apologize for any inconvenience. We want everyone that stays with us to feel happy and at home. We would have taken care of two of the three issues you stated above immediately had we known.

Perfect place at the beach!

The location inside Ocean Lakes was phenomenal!! Close to EVERYTHING! House is just precious. A/C worked really well which is a huge plus for us hot natured folks. The deck is the perfect size to sit on at night and watch all the golf carts go by and then also refreshing in the morning with a great cup of coffee. We’ve never been to Ocean Lakes and now it is a MUST for us to try and visit every chance we get. We’ll definitely book Salty Dogz Chateau again and again.

family visit

The property was as I had hoped central in Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a cozy home perfect for two adult people. When we had problems with the air-conditioner property management took immediate action to fix the situation. And they were quick to respond to my questions. Do read the fine prints as they have additional fees like linens which seems necessary for sleeping on their beds and things not included like toilet paper, soap... that are essential & one would assume it renting a home for a fair price.

Property was close to the beach, but also located right next to the RV area which was a little more rowdy than we are used to when visiting ocean lakes. Never received information/rules/wifi password for the property, but Cindy was very quick to respond with the code to access the property once we arrived. Bedrooms are very small so prepare for that. House was clean! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay here. Even if you're not an owner of an indoor pet, you'll still feel very comfy here. There were no dog hairs or animal smells. The home was fresh-smelling and clean.An ample starter pack of paper products is provided, but it does not include extra trash bags. So, bring those.We appreciated the full-size fridge and stove, as well as the various dishes and containers. They have everything you need for dining, and then some. We used ground coffee in the coffee maker, but they said you can also use K-Cups. The beds were comfortable with firm mattresses. The area around the bed in the back bedroom is very narrow for walking (12"?), but it's worth the trade-off of having a good-sized bed.So nice to have two bathrooms!We loved having a washer and dryer. There are numerous hooks throughout the house for renters to hang towels, purses, etc. Plus dresser drawers! It took us a little time to figure out how to park our car so we could also charge the golf cart. Tip: Pull your vehicle in first. Then, pull the golf cart behind your car and recharge it in the plug-in located at the base of the banister on the porch. The house is in a nice location. If you sit in the far corner of the porch, you can see a bit of the ocean. There are close neighbors. Our stay was nice and quiet. Everything was as pictured. Communication with owners was great, and the check-in was easy. We had a great time and would stay here again.
