We enjoyed this cute little town that had a small park a short walk away for the kids to play at. We loved walking around and exploring the creek. The property was conveniently located between mountain towns that allowed us to drive either direction for food or attractions. We even got to see a deer and a bear from the front porch!

Really cute cottage. Very clean. No light on the front porch so it was hard to enjoy the patio at night. But overall very nice. Would stay again.

Great Little Getaway

As a local (Colorado Springs)this is a great location for out of towners. Awesome host Very well keep house and very easy process. I would definitely stay there again.

Birthday

The cottage is super cute, cozy, and tucked away on a quiet street but conveniently close to all the Manitou/C Springs activities, restaurants, etc. It was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay! My only issue is that the hot tub was not warm enough to use. We sat in it for 10 minutes or so and had to get out as we were cold. I have made recommendation to host to have the temperature higher as 95 is not warm enough. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!enough.

Honeymoon cottage

Cute little cottage and located near attractions. We wish it would have been more secluded but had neighbors on all four sides. Sandra was very accommodating when we needed to change our date. Plenty of great suggestions with local restaurant information and parks.

Ramona Cottage

Pros: The beds were clean and very comfortable. It is a very quiet location except for a barking dog. Cons: The place smelled like gas and old bacon grease. Most of the windows were painted shut so we couldn't use the fresh mountain air. The sink in the second bathroom was clogged so we used the bathroom sink where the tub was. Quite inconvenient. The tub hadn't been cleaned. The trash cans were dirty. Any kitchen utensils used had to be prewashed.

Nostalgic and Cozy getaway

My friend and I stayes here a night because we needed a hot tub soak in the mountains sans kids. This place was perfect. We came after a blizzard and the walk was shoveled and the heat turned on. Our host even made sure the fireplace was on for us! Lots of quick communication for those little questions. The hot water heater was surprisingly quick and generous for the age of the cottage. My friend and I especially enjoyed the wall of vhs films and game shelf. Gave us rec room from the 90s feels. Very beautiful cottage over all!

Hot tub in the mountains

You must dine at Creekside, while here, sit outside, along the creek. Quiet and charming, little cabin in the woods. Neighbors are great, too.

Beautiful cottage in Cascade

Highly recommend! The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We were able to enjoy our morning coffee on the front porch and loved the convenient location near hiking trails and town. We enjoyed our stay in Cascade!

Perfect location!

This location couldn’t have been more perfect. We were within 10-15 minutes from everywhere we wanted to visit. It was perfect for us. The only thing that would be great is a washer/dryer but it’s not that big of a deal. We’ll definitely be back. Sandy is a great host! Joyce, Marti and Gail (from St Louis)

The Perfect Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed every relaxing moment in the quaint cottage. Plenty of sights to see in the surrounding areas and the hot tub was great for unwinding in the evenings after daytime adventures.

Cozy getaway

Enjoyed a two-night stay with my husband and two teenage daughters. The girls loved their bright, airy bedroom and plush beds. Took advantage of the well appointed kitchen and made breakfast, brownies, etc. Enjoyed being at the base of Pike's Peak and a short drive to Garden of the Gods. Weather was cool at night, enjoyed a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. Wish we could have used the hot tub, but just ran out of time. Nice stay!

Wonderful family vacation

The property was wonderful for our stay. It was so nice to have the feeling of home while on vacation especially when we had some unexpected snow. We enjoyed playing games at the cottage, the lovely fireplace and the hot tub were a huge hit with our family. Anytime I had a question about the property Sandy answered back quickly and was very friendly.

Wonderful Visit

This is an ideal location to enjoy all that Colorado Springs has to offer. It boasts breathtaking views that you can enjoy from the hot tub in the backyard! A charming and clean interior makes for a great place to rest after long hikes in scenic Colorado.

Magical little cottage in the mountains

We have been staying in Bob And Sandy's properties since 1999. We have stayed in every property owned by their company, Cascade Escapes, numerous times and this cottage is our favorite. The linens are always fresh, everything is always clean, the kitchen is always stocked with coffee, utensils, pots and pots. Everything is always in perfect working order. Bob and Sandy are two of the most genuine, compassionate people and are always willing to do whatever guests ask of them from preparing a magnificent breakfast, to taking the guests fishing on the private lake nearby. You will never regret staying in one of their properties and I can guarantee that you will return!

Bob and I came out to Colorado in 1997 and fell in love with the mountain town of Cascade. Being close to Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, the airport and all needed shopping areas, we felt if we were going to live in Colorado we had to be in the mountains. We purchased the B & B and then the Ramona cottage. We love entertaining and gourmet cooking.

The cottage is just a short walk to the Wines of Colorado as they offer wine tasting and great entrees for lunch or dinner,or Mildreds Cafe has great breakfasts, and homemade cinnamon rolls to die for. We are close to the drive up Pikes Peak or visiting Santa's Workshop at the North Pole.
