beautiful view, dissapointing cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The porch is beautiful, the view and sunsets great. The path is nice. Bathroom good. it is quiet. But the house? dirty, dusty, hot, sofa ancient and uncomforatable, mattresses from the 70's. If you turn off bedroom light, the fan goes off.

2 Indian Neck Rd in NEED OF TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was clean, but so dark, even in the day. The little lamps were low wattage and insufficient and one didn't even work. The shades on some were ugly, shattered messes. The ancient couch needs desperate updating. The "view" was somewhat misrepresented in the description as it's wildly overgrown with lilacs. When sitting on the deck, the foliage 100% blocks the view. Again, it needs some TLC. I thought it was overpriced for what we got. And PLZ invest in a can opener that is sharp enough to open a can. That's a must when spending $300 a night. We rented above our usual budget as this was our one big trip due to COVID. We felt it was not worth the money in the end.
