About Charles Cocce/Paula Cocce

We have vacationed with our family in Eastham for over twenty five years. It has always been our dream to own a home that we can share with others to create memories like the ones that we have enjoyed for so long. Eastham is an area for all ages and interests. It goes beyond the beautiful beaches and water sports to include sightseeing of American Indian and Pilgrim settlements, whale watching, nature trails, vineyard tours and natural history.

Charles Cocce/Paula Cocce purchased this cottage in 2013

Why Charles Cocce/Paula Cocce chose North Eastham

The proximity of this cottage to the beach is commented on consistently by our guests. Being just a one minute walk away allows you to make easy trips back and forth whenever you need to, be it a cold drink, a bathroom visit or a change of clothes. The property itself offers a private yard for relaxing after a day at the beach or when cooking out. Our most popular feature at the cottage is the outdoor shower. Don't forget to try showering under the stars! However, before you do that, you'll want to walk those few steps back to the beach to watch the sun setting into the ocean or view it from the privacy of your own porch. This is an east coast rarity and one that never grows old - even after twenty five years!

What makes this cottage unique

Outstanding views of the Bay from the second floor Master Bedroom.

The cottage was formerly owned by two prominent people and good friends of ours, Ralph Alswang and Linda Kulman. Ralph was a White House photographer under President Bill Clinton for many years and Linda wrote much of the the NY Times #1 Best Seller The Amanda Knox Story during her summers at the cottage.

Sunrise and Sunset

  • 5 of 5

Lovely getaway steps from the bay beach and from my upstairs bedroom window, I had the pleasure of watching both the sunset and the sunrise. The house is cozy and well-equipped, with three comfortable bedrooms and a living room conducive for intimate conversation as well as for watching the high-quality television at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Our stay was during cold weather, so we didn't take advantage of the outdoor shower, sunroom or deck with barbeque and two tables, but I could well imagine how great that all would be in summer. Charles was a wonderful communicator, helpful and attentive.

Owner's Response: Thank you Leslie! You’ll have to come back in the warmer weather. It’s every bit as spectacular as you can imagine and the bird watching is tremendous right from the deck. Hope to hear from you again soon! Charles and Paula

A must stay!!

  • 5 of 5

This house met all of our expectations in every way! Between the outside deck with spectacular. Jews of the bay and the wonderful outdoor shower, then relaxing in the comfortable family room before settling into spacious sleeping arrangements at night, we were thrilled with our stay! The proximity to the beach, while still maintains privacy was perfect. We can't wait to come back!!

Wonderful location!

  • 4 of 5

Adorable cottage which has been nicely renovated. Terrific deck for having a meal or just relaxing. Beautiful breezes. Just a very short walk to the bay beach. The kitchen is well equipped. Loved the outdoor shower. The couch in the living room has seen better days, but otherwise a wonderful place to spend a vacation!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. Charles was super helpful and flexible with us which made this vacation 'organized chaos.' I would definitely recommend this property if you would like to enjoy Cape Cod!

Comfortable and clean; great deck!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for a week in early June. Weather was mostly cold & rainy until the end when we finally got to enjoy the amazing deck (which has both sunny and shady spots). The gas grill is awesome: 5 burners and puts out plenty of heat. New large TV with very good selection of channels made the cold & rainy days not so bad. Napping in the sunroom was a delight. Queen bed on 1st floor is great - not too hard, not too soft. Can't speak to the condition of the other beds. Only downside is the cramped bathroom. However, the outdoor shower (which I only got to use once due to weather) is great and as long as it's warm enough outside it makes the small bathroom a non-issue.
