Nestled beneath our majestic mountains is this special, cozy, free flowing home. Rest and relax in this well loved cottage, stay warm in the winters with the wood stove and cool in the summer nights with the fresh air of the lovely waterways. Lounge and unwind on the nice large deck and covered porch. Here you will find everything is just a few minutes away. Hunter, Woodstock, Saugerties, Windham, Catskill, and Hudson. Come and visit our History here from our famous Artist homes, the hudson river, museums, theatre's, brewery's, the lakes and much more. Enjoy golfing At the Catskill golf club, Enjoy the Baliwick farm For horseback riding, Saugerties HITS is close by, And Hunter Mountain in Windham Mountain are just a short beautiful ride away.
The space
This great getaway is a two bedroom one bath home. You will be greeted by a large wrap around deck with multiple seating areas with a barbecue and lounge furniture. Upon entering the living room, it is open to the dining room and kitchen. It is light and bright and airy. A big comfy sofa with Lots of blankets and pillows, The walls are covered with artistry paintings and eclectic pictures from yesteryears that have many stories. It is warm and welcoming with hardwood floors, a full kitchen with full appliances. The house is somewhat secluded with mountain views in the back, The yard is nice and open we have a large fire pit, a Hammock and a watering hose for the hot days. This special place is only minutes to everything, Hunter and Windham mountains for snowboarding and skiing, all the lakes and magnificent water ways, Saugerties Tops, the Beautiful Historical homes like Olana, the Vanderbuilt Mansion, the Thomas Cole House, lots of farmers markets, antique shopping in Catskill and Hudson, Woodstock, and the town is close by with the river for boating and fishing, the Catskill golf coarse and lots of cafes, fine restaurants and stores and gas stations. The Cottage is a home you can rest and relax and play and enjoy nature with the comforts of home.

This lovely road and beautiful neighborhood was always a dream of mine to own a home here. It is the perfect peaceful resting place, with the mountain just behind us and the water ways and water falls its magical.

I think its The quiet, the peace you feel when you are here. This cottage is in the perfect setting, trees, gardens, flowers all together with open space and all nestled just beneath the mountain, the lovely windy country road leads to beautiful swimming and fishing spots, wonderful views and waterfalls. The farmers market and brewery are in walking distance and just a short drive to Hunter mountain, north lake, Saugerties, Woodstock Hudson and Catskill. The History is abound as you will find museums , old hiking trails, Artists homes to visit. Take a tour of Olana, have a picnic by the lake. Its a magical place to find peace, relaxation and fun.
