The cottage was clean and comfortable for two people. Easy access to everywhere in the midcoast but equally as wonderful to ‘stay in’.

Pretty Spot

Very much enjoyed this little gem for the quiet, natural setting. Great weather allowed us to spend a lot of time on the spacious deck, relaxing and grilling. Comfy quarters and little amenities (e.g. candle, toothpicks) made it homey and easy to settle in. We’d love to return some day!

This is a great place for 3-4 people. Super cozy and beds and furniture were very comfortable. We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck (VERY few bugs this trip, for some reason) and the stairway to the cove has a kayak slide to help bring boats to the water. Great view of the dramatic tide shifts (you can hear it turn).If you want to rent kayaks for this place, Port Clyde Kayaks delivers. The stairway does end at the bottom of the hill and you step into a wetland/marsh for the last 20 yards. Not sure if the owners are planning to add in some additional planks, but muck/water shoes are recommended for current conditions. Might be that wetland rules prevent this additional boardwalk, but foot traffic makes this path pretty messy.I was also hoping to find an outside outlet to charge up our car, but I did not find one. There are several fast charging stations in nearby towns, but an overnight trickle charge outlet might be something future guests inquire about.

Quiet Nice

Cottage was small, but perfect for the 2 of us.Not much to do at the cottage, we took day trips and visited family.Bedroom was small, no room for 2 suitcases and no dresser in room.View was nice, no way to get safely down to the water.

Enjoyed my time at the property. My mom was with me and she had the bedroom while I had the loft. I only wish there was more headroom in the loft. I wish there was access to the water from the property. MY only suggestion is some type of marking making it easier to find the road maybe ballons on lights
