moorings for your boat(s). There is a 2- car garage available as well as exterior parking (4 cars maximum).

Entering the home you’ll note the maple flooring and how the ocean-facing windows brighten the open concept living and dining area with sun. For chilly nights there is a propane insert fireplace. Moving on, there is a first floor bedroom with a queen-size bed, and

an adjoining full bath. Also on the first floor there is an over-sized mudroom with ample space to store your active gear (skis, rackets, water and sporting gear, etc.) there is also a treadmill located here.

Through the rear door you step out onto an oceanfront deck equipped with a propane grill, a wicker lounger set surrounding a fire pit and an umbrella dining table with seating for 6. Adjacent is a cozy screened-in porch for rainy day conversation. Provided for your entertainment is a good assortment of inside and outside games. Moving off the porch there is a large hot tub to relax your muscles in after a long day of vacation fun. There are wonderful flat ledge areas on the shore for sunning and picnicking along with a private beach for your use. Throughout the day you’ll notice lobster boats and pleasure yachts combining throughout the harbor. Two kayaks are furnished for day tripping among nearby

islands. Returning inside, you take the stairs to the second floor where you will immediately notice a concert pianist's Baldwin grand that looks to the sea and may be played to entertain guests below in the architecturally soaring living room. There are two bedrooms upstairs; the first bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king. It has an adjacent bath and adjoining laundry room, the second is the master suite. Best vacation we have been on

  • 5 of 5

This home was amazing. When we walked in my wife and I could not believe how clean and well kept everything was. Then we went to the backyard and saw the view and couldn't stop staring. We highly recommend this house if you are looking to get away and just relax. There are great places to eat and plenty of things to do. We can't wait to come back

Loved it from start to finish

  • 5 of 5

Our family took advantage of all this house had to over- which was quite a bit. Tied our boat to the dock, kayaked, s'mores with the fire pit every night and hot tub under the stars. The house was clean, updated and as my daughter says "awesome and amazing".

Best Maine Vacation Property on the Coast

  • 5 of 5

We have been vacationing in Maine for 20 years and this home stands out as being truly exceptional. The property was very clean and very well maintained, inside and out as well as being beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were of high quality. The property is tucked away from the main road, making for lovely walks to the General Store and beyond.

We appreciated the many thoughtful touches, including the beautiful, big dining table, the fire pit, the espresso maker, and the attention to detail. Not sure which was better: morning coffee on the deck with a sun-dappled view of calm waters and beautiful boats or evening drinks on the deck with the reflection of the moonlight & stars on the water. Glad to have had both. Just magical. We immediately reserved our place for next year.

Beautiful View!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved staying in Veronika's rental for a week this summer. It was the perfect place to relax and spend time as a family. We had 6 adults and an infant and never felt cramped! There are 3 bedroom/bathroom areas that each feel private and separate from the others but also lovely living areas for everyone to hang out comfortably. We enjoyed playing corn hole in the yard, doing puzzles inside on rainy days, and kayaking around the small bay right off the private dock. The pictures do not do the view justice - the bay, fog, and surrounding islands were wonderful watch at all times of the day but sunrises are truly spectacular. The back deck also has very comfortable seating and a large table for meals outside but bring bug spray! We loved the fire pit and hot tub and used each frequently throughout our stay. On our 5th day we noticed the hot tub had begun to smell funky so we contacted Veronika and someone came to repair it immediately so we could continue to use it for the remainder of our stay. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely want to stay here again if we find ourselves back in Maine!

Terrific property in every respect

  • 5 of 5

There is no one single thing that stands out about Sailor's Valentine; everything combines into a wonderful vacation experience. The location, the setting, the views, the top-of-the-line furnishings all blended together to make this a superb choice. The six of us -- a 3-generation family -- thoroughly enjoyed opportunities to gather in the living room or on the deck around the firepit, or on the grass with games, or on the dock. And at times we relished the ability to scatter to private spaces -- maybe at the end of the pier, or in the hot tub, or playing the piano, or simply enjoy the gorgeous views from the master suite.
