Our Lake Anna retreat offers a restful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, featuring access to Lake Anna from the comforts of a private, resort-like community. Dock your boat at our pre-assigned boat slip during your stay. Enjoy access to all the community amenities including a large, sandy beach with a cove for launching kayaks, a playground, a community pool and clubhouse, tennis courts, and the community docks, all within a few minutes drive or bike ride from the house. We also have two tandem kayaks, two paddle boards, and life vests for your enjoyment.
This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, Craftsman style lake house comfortably sleeps 6 – 8 people and is perfect for up to 3 couples or 2 families with children. Inside, you will find a spacious living room featuring cathedral ceilings, comfy couches, a 70 inch flat screen TV with Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu with live TV channels available, a DVD player, and an electric fireplace. There are several classic board games provided, including games for the littlest family members!
Each bedroom features memory foam mattresses, wood woven roman shades, coastal decor, recessed lighting, and additional ambient lighting for a restful night’s sleep. The main bedroom has a King bed, a large walk-in closet, an overhead fan, an electric fireplace, a flat screen TV, two oversized chairs, perfect for reading during the morning light or working remotely with the laptop, and a private bathroom with a luxurious, free-standing bathtub, double sinks, and a large, sit-in shower with a rain shower head, and a separate toilet room.

There are also two kayaks and two paddle boards available for your enjoyment, as well as life vests and a kayak rack that straps to your SUV for transportation to the beach*. There is a mud room right off the garage with a large shoe rack and caddy for hanging clothing and towels or drop your bathing suits and towels in the washer/dryer set and leave your shoes behind!
Outside, there is a nice big table on the deck and a charcoal grill. We also have a fire pit. Enjoy roasting marshmallows around the campfire with the wood that has been provided. The front porch is perfect for relaxing in the two rocking chairs, while enjoying your morning coffee. Hi! Welcome to our lake house, Always On Lake Time! We are your hosts, Joanna & Vytas. We are so excited you're here and we can't wait for you to start relaxing on lake time at our family friendly retreat! We currently live in Northern Virginia and spend much of our free time down here at Lake Anna. Joanna is originally from Fredericksburg, VA and spent many summers as a child playing, swimming, and water tubing at Lake Anna. Vytas is originally from Lithuania and speaks three languages. Fun fact: did you know that Lithuania has about 6,000 lakes? Which is why Vytas also spent much of his childhood at the lake.
It has been our dream since we met to have a family lake house. We love the lake so much that we even had our wedding at Lake Anna! So that is why we chose this particular lake as the spot for our vacation home. Our family's favorite things to do at the lake are fishing, boating, and swimming; and boy, is Lake Anna the perfect destination for both!

Our lake house is located inside The Waters at Lake Anna, which is a private, resort-like community. We were drawn to this neighborhood in particular because of the community amenities and the fact that it is located on the private side of the lake. The water on the private side is several degrees warmer than the public side of the lake, which allows for an extended swimming season, sometimes into the end of October!
Additionally, the neighborhood offers a sandy beach and cove for launching non-powered boats, a community pool, tennis and basketball courts, playground, and boat docks. We have an assigned boat slip which you can use if you have a boat that you would like to bring. Just let us know!
The neighborhood is very quiet with very little traffic and the view from the community beach is beautiful. The biggest benefit of being on the private side of the lake is that there is much less boat traffic, so you can really enjoy the peace and quiet of the lake while still participating in the adventures of lake life. Plenty of wildlife can be spotted such as deer, hawks, osprey, blue heron, ducks, etc. Come and enjoy life on lake time!

With our lake house, you'll enjoy a peaceful and affordable vacation with your friends or family and you'll still get the benefits of being right next to the lake.
