Welcome to Heaven in the Hills!

Escape to a peaceful Texas Hill Country retreat on 6 beautiful acres near Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River. Whether you’re planning a relaxing getaway for two, a family vacation, a weekend with friends or bringing everyone together, Heaven in the Hills offers the space and amenities to make the stay your own.

Enjoy private resort-style amenities exclusively for our vacation-rental guests, including a swimming pool, hot tub and steam sauna. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, grill dinner, relax beneath the gazebo or pavilion, or gather around the fire pit in the evening.

Inside, the spacious barndominium is comfortable and inviting for smaller stays while offering accommodations for up to 16 overnight guests when you’re traveling with extended family or friends.

Enjoy a peaceful Hill Country setting while staying conveniently close to Canyon Lake, the Guadalupe River and Whitewater Amphitheater, along with boating, tubing, swimming, dining and other area attractions.

The owners live in a separate residence on the 6-acre property. The barndominium and designated vacation-rental amenities are separate and reserved exclusively for rental guests—the pool, hot tub, sauna and guest recreation areas are not shared with the owners or other guests. Security Cameras: For safety and security, exterior security cameras are located at the exterior entry doors, along the side and back driveways of the barndominium, and at the pool area. The pool-area camera monitors the pool and surrounding exterior area. All cameras monitor exterior areas only. There are no cameras inside the rental or in private interior spaces.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Animals must remain controlled and away from our resident animals and animal enclosures. Service animals accommodated as required.
Pool, hot tub, and sauna: no lifeguard; use at own risk. Children require adult supervision. No glass. Follow posted safety rules.
Our residence, animal enclosures and other owner-designated areas are private and off-limits to guests.

Just a FYI, the hot water in the shower did not work and we could not find the remote for the tv in the bedroom. Just wanted to let you know. We did have a great time and enjoyed the place. Joanna

This is by far one of the worst hosts I have ever had to deal with and I have used VRBO for years…if I could rate the place a zero I would for the host alone. I stayed here for 1 night prior to my wedding day. Worst decision I ever made…the place sleeps 10 people but he is going to charge you extra for every person over yourself. Privacy…you will have none, he doesn’t tell you that he lives on the property and tracks your every move via camera…awkward. Paying to stay hundreds of dollars for 1 night in an unfinished party barn with plywood that shares 1 bathroom. Pictures are misleading. And now I’m having to deal with customer support because he is trying to blatantly lie to customer support stating that a cleaning crew found dog food after I left and checked out. Also make sure you take pictures of the property before you leave....host tried to say I had a pet on property and sent a picture of dog food and bowl to VRBO after I checked out. Save yourself the headache…you will thank me later. The guy is a straight scammer. It's not worth your time, money, and peace of mind....plenty of other options in the area.
