Great Lake house

Most relaxing vacation

This property is fantastic if you are looking for fun and relaxation.My family, including two daughters 17 & 20, had a great vacation spending time on the lake. We brought paddleboards and used the kayaks to enjoy the water. At night, we built firepits and played music while sitting outside. The neighborhood is super quiet. Jim, the owner, lives next door and makes sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this vacation spot to get away from it all!

Great getaway

Great well cared for home with lake access and gorgeous sunsets. Owner lives next door and clearly cares about his guests. Lots of little extras, plenty of space, lots to do! Truly bring your food and you’ll have everything you could possibly need for a relaxing get away.

Another great vacation

Great house, great host. Jim takes care of everything you need. Nice little sandy beach in a beautiful spot with sunset views. Perfect for families with small children. Can't overstate how well appointed this house is - if you need it, it's there and if it isn't there, Jim will get it for you. This was our second year in a row we spent a week at Willow Point, and it was perfect both times.

Our little piece of heaven

Jim and Sally have an exceptional home ready for any family! Immaculate and warm and comfy for everyone. We were 5 adults and 1 child and found it perfect for us! Kitchen has everything you would need except the food! Even a crockpot! Weber grill used several times. Kayaks and bikes were a blast! Fishing was great too! Will be back next year for sure. Now our little piece of heaven! Jim and Sally were wonderful hosts.

Everything you could want in an island vacation!

We spent a week in Isle La Motte with my husband and college-aged daughter. We had a lovely week. The home was as pictured - cute, comfortable, and very clean. The lake area is sandy, clean, and separated from neighbors so you have your own area. The rental came with the ability to use the owner's canoe, paddle boat, 2 kayaks and 2 bicycles. For evenings, there was a fire pit for making s'mores by the lake, as well as board games and cards. Finally, Jim and Sally (owners) are just lovely. We would definitely come back!

A rare gem on Isle la Motte

This was as described and more! Bigger than expected. All the modern conveniences. Clean, well-stocked, quiet, and a SAND BEACH! Perfect for the grandkids.

From the front, this cottage looks small, but it is deceiving. Once inside we discovered it was roomy enough for three adults and three children. I am very familiar with Isle la Motte and this is a rare gem. The house is clean, well-furnished and stocked, air-conditioned (!), and easy to feel at home in. We really only needed to bring our clothes and food. The sandy beach is a rarity on ILM and was wonderful for the kids (all under 5). The shallow water was safe for them to play in and we felt very comfortable the entire time we were there. Jim (owner) was helpful but unobtrusive. I highly recommend Willow Point!

Perfect island vacay experience!

Every amenity we could imagine was provided. We were very comfortable and could fully take in the Isle La Motte experience. We enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit, the board games, the recliner, the comfy beds, and the general homey atmosphere! A wonderful experience!

CRAFTER'S PARADISE

This was our second annual stay at Willow Point. It IS the perfect house for our crafting retreats. It's clean and spacious! With 4 bedrooms, there is room for us all. So much space for all of our craft supplies. The views are spectacular. The road is quiet enough for an enjoyable walk along the lake. The owners, Jim and Sally, are amazing! Jim even started our bonfires for us! Can't wait for next year!

Fantastic lake house!!!

We had a great stay at this house in Isle la Motte this past week!!! The house was super clean and very comfortable. It was fully equipped with everything that you would need for an enjoyable stay. The house is in a very quite neighborhood with fantastic views of the lake. The owners were very nice and made you feel most welcome and offered suggestions when asked! Overall a great visit and we would highly recommend this vacation rental!!!

Absolutely perfectly relaxing!

The property itself was perfect for us. It was clean,neat and perfectly laid out for our grandkids. Absolutely loved the private beach with the fire pit for making stores! Enjoyed watching the grandkids run and play endlessly in the sand. Jim and Sally are excellent host who are truly committed to making sure their guest can sit back and relax. The house was well stocked with all the things that normally you would have to supply yourself like paper towels, garbage bags, even dish washer and washer pods. We hope to make another trip next year Thank you Jim and Sally so much for making our vacation so perfect. Take care!

Scrapbook/Girls Weekend

We are a group of women who get together and travel for a long weekend to scrapbook, make cards, relax, and laugh! We have a great time no matter where go. This year was different. Because of the pandemic we couldn't travel outside Vermont and did we find the gem of all gems right in our own backyard! 5 of us friends setup our tables and scrapbooked family outings, birthdays, Christmas, halloween and every other kind of memory you could think of. What happened was we made more memories by staying here. The house was the perfect size for all of us and the scenery is beyond compare. We cooked out on the grill, sat outside for fire and s'mores at night, and took long walks along the lake in the morning. When we needed a break from scrapbooking - we just took a cup of tea or glass of wine and sat in the Adirondack chairs on the shores of Lake Champlain. We almost had to pinch ourselves when we would wake up to the most beautiful sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. Our hosts were so kind that we just want to come back so we can hang out with them more! They give you the space you need to enjoy yourselves but are there for anything you may need! And you don't need much. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly think of. Just bring your food! We are already planning next years get away. We can't wait to scrapbook more memories and we are looking forward to adding this getaway as one of them!

Perfect Girls Getaway!

Jim was such a great host! He took the time to walk us through the house and provide everything we needed. Pictures don’t do this place justice! The lake, beach, and house were everything we could have asked for. We didn’t want to leave and already are making plans to come back next year!
