Comfy Ranch House [3 BR / 2 BA] Pool and Park

Welcome to our cozy Upstate NY retreat! Perfect for traveling workers or family vacations, this newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house offers a comfortable stay. It features a stocked kitchen, laundry room, and spacious, furnished rooms. In the summer (open in June-August), enjoy our 24-foot round pool with a deck and lounge chairs. The backyard has a 5-burner gas grill, a gliding bench, and an outdoor table with a retractable umbrella, ideal for dining and relaxing. Book now for a great stay!

Safe neighborhood. Located right across the street to a park with a large field and basketball court.

Next to a busy road, but settles down at night (we provide complimentary earplugs just in case).

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Return pool gate key if used to garage above fire extinguisher.
Please send a message letting me know if you used the grill as well as what beds were used and you can leave the used sheets and blankets on the bed.
Gather towels into the laundry basket in laundry room. This helps us so we can promptly start cleaning and preparing the house for next guests. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
- Please take your shoes off by the front door when entering the house.
- Clean dishes by dishwasher or by hand after using them. (We have dishwasher pods under the kitchen sink.)
- Use the provided plastic plates, bowls, and cups when dining outside. (Located in cabinet left of microwave.)

House was clean and big enough for us and our grandson. I agree with other reviews the beds and pillows were very hard. Also there was not a lot of pans and dishes to cook with if you wanted make a meal. Only two tvs and when you have kids, more is better. Location was good to get to restaurants and family.

Beautiful, clean home

There was several us from Upper Central NY that rented the house for a Christian retreat nearby for the weekend. The house was very clean and beautiful. The house is right of the Main Road, Route 14. The host was quick to respond to me with questions before I booked. We would book the home again when we have another Christian retreat in the area. Thank you!

Great Location for Family Visit

This was a great location for our family visit. My brother who lives in Elmira was just 10 min away. The house is very cute, very clean and there was plenty of room for 4 adults. It was really a plus that there are 2 full bathrooms. The only downside is that it is right off of a busy street. That is the only reason I gave location 4 stars and overall rating 4 stars. Otherwise the location is great - about a 45 min drive to the Watkins Glen area. I also would like to mention that the property manager was very responsive when we messaged with a question. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is cute and clean. Definitely newly renovated. The kids loved the pool, the pool is a good size. All 7 of us where in it at 1 point and there was plenty of room. The description says there is a hot tub, that must be an error unfortunately there was no hot tub. We still had a great time. Its in a perfect location for shopping and lots of dining options.

Worked Well for Our Purpose

Booked this ranch for a weekend trip - had show tickets at the Clemens Center. Pictures are accurate. Stay was good.Pros: - Host was responsive to questions.- Bedrooms have blackout curtains.- House is near a busy road but was quiet inside.- Bathrooms have liquid body wash, shampoo, extra TP.- Kitchen has dishwasher pods nad paper towels.Cons:- Beds are hard, pillows on beds are high and hard (but others are available in the closet). Beds could use memory foam toppers.- Beds are made with a fitted sheet and pillow cases, but no top sheet. All 4 of us thought that was odd.- Kitchen has the basics, but did not have any covered casserole dishes, food storage containers, or dish towels.
