What a wonderful stay! It’s tucked back from the road and very private so you feel like you’re in your own little bubble but, also only 10-15 minutes from restaurants and stores if needed. Loved the huge fenced in yard and the little bistro set on the back porch - perfect for drinking morning coffee and watching the sun rise. Hot tub on the front porch was wonderful. Everything was very clean and as described. The host was responsive and checking in/out was a breeze.Great couples retreat, but also has fun things for kids too (volleyball/badminton net, cornhole, tether ball, etc). We will definitely be repeat customers.
The cabin is perfect. The owner has thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable. Irs clean, comfortable, and spacious. The views of the mountains are spectacular.
Absolutely will return to this one, the property is very secluded and has everything needed for a romantic weekend for two adults. The house seemed practically brand new, all appliances and such were in excellent condition. The views are fantastic and the lack of outside noise like cars, traffic and just city noises etc was perhaps my favorite part, just the sounds of birds and nature and an occasional plane. The hot tub was the star of the show, even on a ridiculously cold evening we found it was more than perfect place to unwind. I will say the cell phone service was meh at best, I had one bar pretty much everywhere we ventured (I have verizon) and initially was hesitant on the satellite internet but once I connected to the wi-fi all was absolutely perfect, the wifi seemed to cover pretty much everywhere around the house so sitting out in the sun I still had signal and quite good speeds. The host was very kind and very responsive during the entire process from booking to check out. For it to be as remote as it is you are easily able to get to Roanoke/Lynchburg and Bedford for anything you may need.Already looking at booking again!
If you are looking for seclusion here it is!! It is peaceful and quiet. There is wifi if you choose to connect and s tv with basic channels. The cabin was very clean and has up to date appliances. The nice host has outdoor games and even coffee k-cups. Lynchburg is close by
