Convenient location. Overall clean, though we found lost socks and air rubans under beds or couch. The air hockey and foosball table are in bad shape. Appliances are dated like most cabins in the area. You can feel a draft near every windows. If you are on T-mobile, make sure to have domestic data roaming enabled for your line, it will use AT&T 5G in the area.

The cabin got new appliances a couple of years ago, the stove top and oven were purchased in the new/retro style because they kept the cabin appeal and fit in the island without losing cabinet space. We took advantage of the "Book 2 nights get the 3rd night free" in March, which was a great value. Without getting the 3rd night free, it might feel a bit too expensive.This was our second time staying at this cabin, and we had a great experience both times. Two years ago, it was MLK weekend and there was so much snow, we could sled down the hill in between the neighbors' houses! This time (in March), there was barely any snow and it was a balmy 70 degrees and sunny every day. There was just barely enough snow to ski in t-shirt weather at Dodge Ridge.The cabin is spacious and fun for two families to share. The bottom two bedrooms get really cold at night, so be prepared to either feel like you're camping outside, or use one of the space heaters. The upstairs loft sleeps 6 and is quite cozy. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of mismatched dishes, utensils, and pots — it's just a little haphazard and can take a minute to find everything.Darlene was helpful and easy to communicate with. The checkout process was especially simple. We returned a second time and would definitely return in the future, too. Thank you for hosting us!

Cold Springs Cabin

The cabin was nice. It comes as advertised. Very accurate listing. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great place in the mountains. Our family enjoyed the cabin and look forward to renting it again.

nice location, wonderful deck in the back

We appreciated the outside deck, and upstairs room where our teenagers could hang out together.The amenities listed were sparce, however, with no dishtowels and 1/2 roll of paper towels for 6 people for 3 days for example. We would have brought simple supplies like this if we had known we would needed them. Also, be aware that there is no Wifi. I don't know that this was clear on the listing.

Cute rustic cabin

The location of the cabin was great. Close to Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge. The deck was huge and it was fun to sit out and BBQ and look out at the beautiful trees. The host was very accommodating and replied quickly. Its a great place to go spend your weekend in the mountains.

Pinecrest lodge

Place was as advertised- older cabin fit for family stay; once heater got going it was very warm and cozy; appliances are a bit dated and we waited a while for boiling water etc. Very convenient location close to Dodge Ridge. Now they need snow!

I'm so glad you had a good time. The appliances are all new in the last 2 yrs, we chose the retro look for stove top and oven because our guests loved the era of the original cabin build. We've been serving vacationers since 1984, 40 years. It's a family business, my children grew up in the business and still assist guests daily. When I started, the cabins didn't even have TV, it was the forest and fun that drew guests up the mountain to play, swim, fish, hike, bike, horseback ride and visit Columbia State Park, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Pinecrest lake, Ice skating, snow play, Tuolumne and Stainislaus River, big Trees and so much more. It has been a pleasure to serve thousands of guests over the years. We do our very best to make each stay a great experience. The crew works exceptionally hard to keep everything going! We look forward to having you as a guest!

This beautiful ideal cabin home is centrally located for uphill and downhill activities. From Pinecrest Lake to Don Pedro. Dodge Ridge to Yosemite, Calavaras county as well. Every thing from Casino-Spelunking, Water Sports to live theater.

Can be pet friendly will consider, must be approved please contact me for approval. When pet is approved you would bring your bedding and towels.
