Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was as advertised. We loved the quiet end of Thomas Drive. Plenty of beach room and great views from the huge balcony.

When we arrived the condo was damp and musky. Carpets need replaced, not cleaned. Bathroom sinks were stained beyond cleaning. All of the showers were nasty and the one in the second master was missing the shower level. Lots of cracked tile. No coffeemaker, we went and bought one, Possible black mold on ceiling in the kitchen. Hot tub on pool deck was inoperable. This was not our first stay at the Commodore. In my opinion, this unit is not rentable. It's an embarrassment.

The place looked like it hadn't been updated (not outdated) in a while, but in a good way. It felt "home"y and comfortable after a long day on the beach. It didn't feel like everything was too nice to use. We just enjoyed it. The balcony provided amazing views and was big enough to accommodate everyone to sit out there and just talk and laugh. Enough room/beds for a Large group/family. Didn't really use the pool because we were on the beach so I have nothing on that but the access to the water was easily accessible

The condo is outdated but I'm not living there and it's not mine. I will say, the King Size bedroom to the right, the bathroom door hinges are busted and you have to lift the door to close it, I would want that fixed because eventually it's just not going to close. the balcony is AMAZING. The furniture on the balcony was nice and used daily. We all had plenty of room and had our own bathrooms which is nice. I will say that this property does have carpet in the rooms and living room space which is a bit different especially with all the sand but it was clean. Again, we love this area because of the beach access, the views, this area and location is quiet. It's close to Patches which we LOVE. Again, we are there for the beach and food, this place was clean, had enough room, and we had everything that we needed.

The unit is very outdated. When we arrived we had to have management send back out housekeeping. The floors were sticky in kitchen, eating areas and bathroom. Mirrors needed cleaned and box springs cover needed changed because of soiled. The new housekeepers completed everything that needed done.

Great location if you like peace and less crowds9th floor might sound like a lot of waiting for elevators but it is very easy and convenient with very little wait time.Awesome views Host was very responsiveClean appliances and everything functional Lots of storage and room for everyone This condo does have carpet in bedrooms but it is very clean. Kitchen has most of everything you would need to prepare meals.It is dated with some damages to paint etc like some of the reviews have stated. It is not anything major that would make me not stay here again. I would stay here again and again. Bottom line it was clean, has comfortable beds, working appliances, very cold air, great location awesome views and helpful host. We had a great vacation here at this unit.

Upon entering the condo, we were immediately hit with a foul, wet, moldy odor that made us sick to our stomachs. We had to open every window and door just to breathe. I even bought air freshener and used the entire can trying to mask the stench. The carpet was filthy and stained everywhere, and the tile floors were sticky and grimy. We kept our shoes on the entire stay because walking barefoot was not an option. The cabinets and countertops were falling apart, they looked ready to fall off the walls. The beds had sand in them, and the outdoor furniture was rusted and dirty. One bathtub didn’t have a stopper, so I used a washcloth instead, which turned brown from the filth. Nothing about this place felt clean or cared for.We’ve stayed at The Commodore many times, and while we knew this unit was dated from the photos, but we expected it to be clean. It wasn’t. The smell, the dirt, and the overall neglect were unacceptable. I’m shocked The Commodore allows this unit to be rented in such filthy condition. Whoever owns it clearly doesn’t care. It’s a health hazard and a disgrace to the property. We’ll never rent this unit again, and I plan to contact management directly to report how unsanitary it truly is. DO NOT RENT!

Dissatisfied selection

This condo was very outdated, tile floor in two baths were cracked and one had a missing piece, which was covered with a rug. Some of the walls were dirty and not very clean. Furniture in living rooms and some master bedroom had stains. I never went without shoes on all week due to the unit having cockroaches. I let the The balcony was nice and we did leasing agent know and she never sent anyone over to investigate.

Disappointed in room condition

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was terrible. We had to clean it to make it able to stay in with our family. The cabinets are broken and many do not stay closed. The garbage disposal doesn't work and the smell is horrible. Gnats are everywhere. Moldy towels were in all the sliding door tracks. Sinks were filthy. A rug covers the broken tiles in the bathroom. Chunks of paint are off the walls. Lots of questionable stuff on the walls and furniture including beds. Counter top in kitchen busted up. Carpets are a mess. Vacuuming helped but does not take care of the problem. Lots of other problems in each bathroom. One stool sits crooked. Broken places in the showers. A couple faucets do not shut off. Mattress covers have stains. Lots of paintings and mirrors sitting around, we placed in the closets. When asked for help we were told housekeeping and maintenance would be right up and we didn't see them any of the 4 days. Sad we had to clean and stay there since we were 700 miles from home with no other accommodations.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 6 nights. There were 9 of us total. The location was great, view was incredible. The rooms had wear and tear, some things more noticeable than others (few holes in the walls, paint chipping away, and some plumbing issue with one of the en suite bathtub *carpet would set soaking wet 4 feet away into the bedroom itself*)There was still some garbage that was missed from housekeeping/cleaning crew. Given the $250 we paid for cleaning fees, I thought it would be cleaner than what it was when we arrived. There was very noticeable sticky build up on the walls, wrappers still left behind on dressers, a coke bottle on the side table. One tv didn’t have any access to cable/internet like the other 3 did so some were left out from watching whatever they wanted. We needed up getting one more night since we ended up having an extra day before we had to return and that was very easy to do. The staff was able to do that after closing hours and last minute, which was great. Overalll, it was a good stay. We would go back and probably just try to mention the cleanliness before hand.

We were very excited to see this corner room available during our Fall Break family vacation. Even though we love the commodore, we didn’t love this particular room. It has plenty of space since it’s 3 bedrooms, but it needs some TLC and updates. My biggest complaint would be the beds. New mattresses would definitely help! Do some updating and fix some cosmetic things and it would be great!
