The living room furniture needs to be updated. Sofa and chairs sagged. There was a broken chair right outside the house in the weeds and a mattress in the weeds on the other side. The kitchen was nicely furnished and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The gas fireplace was nice. My granddaughters enjoyed the indoor jet tub and the foosball table. The 8 year old quickly won against her 10 year old sister. I did get to see an owl on the porch railing.
We had a great cabin with an even better host. He was so tentative and always answering questions quickly. The property was clean and such a great location. Will 100% stay here again!
Instructions were clear and communication was quick and the cabin was clean, cozy, and adorable! We had so much fun!

Overall a nice place to stay. There were a few lights out including the hot tub but not a deal breaker. The bad news is we literally never saw the pool or clubhouse that was shown in the pictures. I even asked where they were and the response i got was they were closed until memorial day which is when we were down there. Plus we got the runaround on where they were. So my guess is that there isnt a pool nor a clubhouse. The place was nice but i want everything that i paid for. If you dont have either the pool or gym/clubhouse, thats fine but don't advertise that you do. Or if they are just closed, then disclose that ahead of time.

This is not an accurate in the slightest - I am not sure why this guest is not being truthful in their review of this property. The guest stayed from 5/22-5/26, which meant that she checked out the morning of Memorial Day. When she asked about the clubhouse / pool, I informed her that unfortunately the clubhouse was closed in preparation for Memorial Day - which she responded "ok thanks" to. There was no runaround or even other correspondence. We absolutely have a pool / clubhouse for our guests, but it is not always open as we do not manage it directly.
Possibly the worst accommodations for any stay I have had on a business trip or family vacation. I went into this with the understanding I was renting a cabin in the woods, so the bar was not set high to begin with. For comparison sake, I have been to cleaner tuck stop restrooms than that cabin. Interior covered in dust and spider webs so thick it burned my throat to breath in the bedroom, limited Luke-warm water, many of the lights out, patio furniture covered in dirt, drive way full of debris and leave, trash containers not accessible, and even though it is pet friendly, there is no place to take your pet out. It gets a 1 star rating because I can’t give it a zero. Operator is a slumlord and not cooperative. If you are considering a stay here give your money to charity and stay home and you will be much better off.

This guest is not being honest in their assessment. For any prospective guests, I would encourage you to read any of the other reviews left on this page. This guest requested a partial refund part way through their stay and said that they would leave a good review if I granted it. Since I did not, he left this review in retaliation.
