Your cozy getaway awaits at Schuss Moutain in Sharty Creek resorts. We welcome you to our beautiful Townhouse that sleeps 8-9 comfortably.
Our Townhouse boasts: Fully stocked cupboards with dishes, pots and pans, sliverware.
This open concept 1st level will give you the opportunity to be in the kitchen or living room and not miss a conversation.
The Primary bedroom is on the 1st level with 2 Queen beds and a full bathroom that has just been renovated. Primary bedroom also has a TV.
Walk up the winding staircase to the 2nd bedroom with a new KING bed and a queen bed, TV and full bathroom, recently renovated.
We also have a small private office with a desk for those who work remotely or you just want some privacy to read or surf the web.
* We have an extra large parking lot so no worries finding a place to park and we also have room for boats*
*You will have complimentary access to the Schuss indoor pool and hot tub which is a 1 minute walk to the main lodge, Schuss pool is seasonal and only open during the winter and summer.
*pool closures are out of our control and we cannot refund for pool closures. This does not happen often*

People frequently use our condos as a hub in the summer or fall and travel to surrounding Northern Michigan attractions.
Bellaire 5 miles, a quaint little town with shops and a variety of restaurants including Shorts Brewery. We will have a new Steakhouse open this summer.
Torch Lake 10 miles
Boyne City and Boyne Mountain Sky Bridge less than 30 miles

There were no amenities as listed. There was an old basket ball court and tennis court, the kids could not play on as the concrete was broken and shifted and the grass and weeds were knee high. The pool listed is not up to date. Wires are showing in the ceiling, there is cardboard covering exit signs. The pool is not easily accessible and we had to find staff to show us how to get in there. The hot tub was broke and obviously couldn't use it. There are walking trails. They are not marked very good, we ended up on a private road. There was nothing for the kids to do. The condo its self was nice but they stated that only a limited amount of toilet paper, trash bags, etc were provided and the rest was up to us to provide. 3 night stay for 1000 and they can't provide the bare necessity? The grill was thrown on the porch and couldn't be used. Highly dissatisfied. Will NOT recommend to anyone.

First of all, I am asking VRBO to remove this review. We do not advertise the ammenities she is talking about. We do not have a basketball court or tennis court. There is a parking lot over an old tennis court. We do not advertise walking trails however many guest do walk up the ski mountain. This is a very clean well maintained townhouse for which she barley mentioned. We have a small Weber grill on the deck. Not sure why she said it was thrown there. The pool is owned by Shanty Creek and we purchase an annual pass for guests to use it. It is not new by any means but it is ok and kids still enjoy it. Yes the hot tub is not working at this time. As for supplies we supply plenty for each stay. I am always available and she did not once reach out to let me know she was dissatisfied about anything. We would have happily brought more toilet paper. She was also given an early check in. If she paid $1000 for 3 days I did not receive it. Our prices are very good for Northern Michigan in the summer. Again she did not mention how clean the condo was or the nice new beds. I would recommend they stay at Great Wolf Lodge for what she was looking for. Most people use this area as a hub for day trips in the summer, not somewhere to stay and play on the premises.

Nice place

Overall it was a nice clean place to stay. The listing stated there was air conditioning but there was only one until in the bedroom that worked. It did cool the place down though. There was shampoo and conditioner, but no body soap available as well as no washcloths that I seen. No stove top to cook, but it did have a portable burner that was available. The beds were super comfy! Overall it was a nice place to stay!

Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We always leave bar soap as well as liquid body wash. I am always available to bring some over if it was accidently overlooked. Unfortunatley she did not reach out or I did not hear about this until reading this review. We do have a 2 burner cook top and an electric skillet. Guests should be able to cook anything that does not require an oven. The AC unit on the 1st level does cool the upper level as well. I am glad to hear that the beds were comfy! Overall this is a great economical condo that will accommodate 8 guests! And again, someone is always available to help with issues during your stay!

We enjoined our stay very much, but I want to offer some constructive criticisms. It took us 45 min. to find the VRBO with our GPS, since info provided does not lead anyone to the condo. The building this unit is in does not have a number on it. When we finally found the condo, inside we found a 3 ring notebook with the detailed location of all buildings in the Schuss Mountain resort area which I photographed below. This should have provided with the Key info. When booking I asked for a bedroom on the ground floor since my wife and I are in our mid 80s and have difficulties going up stairs. Unfortunately it takes 2 flights of stairs to get to the first floor. Also need more tea spoons and hand towels. The tub should have non-slip tape added to prevent falls.

Although I appreciate feedback I would like to reply as not to confuse future guests. He did ask if there is a bedroom and bathroom on the first level and yes there is. The building itself is on a small hill and there is a short flight to get to the townhouse, then a short flight to get to the front door. The pictures on the listing clearly sbows this. I do provide very detailed directions that will take you to the door. There IS a number on the door. I do not understand why he looked for 45 minutes and did not reach out to me for assistance. I am happy to provide amy additional household items that are needed. I feel bad that he did not completely enjoy the stay. I would not recommend this property to an elderly person or anyone with issues climbing stairs.

It was really hard to find the unit. I had to look at a map posted in a previous review to help us, and luckily we arrived during daylight hours. I don’t think we would have found it at night. The unit itself was very clean and had comfy beds. It had everything we needed for a long weekend. The area is quiet and a 15 min drive to the lakes and shops. We were disappointed with the pool area. It seems run down, the hot tub was broken (and has been for at least a year according to a resident), the garbages were overflowing, and the door to the pool itself was very difficult to get open. Luckily the kids didn’t care about any of that and had a great time anyway.

I am really sorry she had a hard time finding the unit. VRBO sends directions and I also reach out with more detailed directions day of stay. Maybe she didn't get them? I always ask people to reach out with any questions. I don't want my guests wasting time driving looking for the unit. I am always available to help. As for the pool, yes it is old and needs some TLC. Unfortunately that is owned by the resort and we have no control. If you are here for the pool I dont recommend. If you are here to explore Northern Michigan and have a nice clean place to stay this is for you.

We love this part of Michigan! There is something to do in every season. Skiing, golfing, biking, hiking, boating. Fall colors are spectacular. Awesome hiking and biking trails. Some of our condos are ski in Ski out and some are walk to slopes. If there is a particular ammenity you are looking for, I am sure I have it. We also feature some dog friendly condos.
