This lovely Oceanfront home is the perfect OBX beach house. With the ocean, beach and a giant hot tub right out your back door, you will truly have the best of the Outer Banks at your doorstep. Right in the heart of Duck, it is the ideal location. With 3 king beds and 2 'bunk' rooms (one has a king and bunk and the other has 2 sets of bunk beds), it is the perfect setup for 1, 2, or 3 families. The upper floor has 2 king master bedrooms with bathroom and powder room. The kitchen, dining and living areas are open with vaulted ceilings for lots of light and open space to play are on the upper floor as well -- with vast views of the Ocean right from the living room couch! The lower floor has 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms - one king, one king+bunk, one 2 bunks, and a full laundry room with large washer and dryer. The house is very kid-friendly - with gates on the decks, hot tub, lots of beach toys, etc. and an outside shower for cleaning off all the beach-day fun. There is a covered garage and basketball hoop. Just steps (literally) from the beautiful, wide sandy beaches of Duck, you cannot find a better location. Saltaire is in the heart of Duck, walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short drive or bike ride to the best Spa in the Outer Banks. Or just relax and stay in with the well-equipped kitchen and room for 14 to dine comfortably. With a basketball net, cable TVs in every bedroom, the beach, and the hot tub, everyone can be entertained. The sunrise and sunset views over the Ocean and the Sound from the wrap-around decks are breathtaking. You can actually hear the soothing crashing of the waves with the windows open and smell the fresh salt air while you snooze. Relax and read a book on the beach or the deck, go exploring on the beach or through the treasure shops in the town of Duck, hike the new Duck sound-side boardwalk with its vast wildlife, crabbing, eateries and ice cream shops. Visit the Sunset Grill for the, well, sunsets or join the party at the Coastal Cantina's happy hour on the Sound with live music. There is never a shortage of fun at Beach Won! Our family has owned this wonderful home for over 35 years and we spend 2-3 months in it each year. We keep it clean, updated and in great working order. It is the perfect classic Beach House! The house is well equipped and close to the beach. This was our second year at this house and it worked very well. We did see ants in the kitchen and living room and a few palmettos as well as a dead spider on a pillow. Loved the new flooring and happy to see the kitty. We look forward to spending another week here next year.

Great vacation spot for friends and family

I am very impressed with our stay. The location was amazing (close to beach and the boardwalk). The house had a lot of beach supplies which really cut down on how much we had to pack. There was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. Our whole vacation was hassle free. I would be happy to come back next year.

The location is fabulous, as is the Town of Duck. We enjoyed the new hot tub and love being oceanfront. House is well stocked and welcoming. We enjoyed beach time, family time in the open kitchen/living room, and the shops and restaurants of duck. Loved the central location and ability to walk/bike into town. The kids also loved it!

Super cozy house feet from the beach

We had a great time at Beach Won! We loved how close it was to the beach. I've been at other beach fronts that had twice the walk. Very well stocked with beach chairs/umbrellas. The kitchen had all we needed as well. I would definitely come back.

Fully equipped!

The house was clean and well kept. It was fully equipped with extra fans and chargers by the beds. Plenty of seating for family gatherings and really well stocked kitchen. Tons of space for food storage. Hosts also allow use of beach chairs and beach supplies. Highly recommend this property!

Great place. Super kitchen area, loved ice maker and 2 ovens. Garage refrigerator was handy too. Thanks for the beach chairs. So much better than buying or renting. Had a wonderful time. It was very hot during our stay and the AC worked great.

Excellent Vacation!

We enjoyed our time in Duck. The house was right on the beach. There were plenty of chairs / umbrellas / toys for the beach. The bikes were great to ride into Duck to get some Duck Donuts each morning (it's only about 1/2 mile from Duck shopping). We walked regularly into town as well. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We hope to return next year.

Perfect place for a perfect vacation

We have began a tradition of taking our kids to Duck every summer. It is now a firm family tradition and this location made it so much more. With my father in law who suffers from Parkinson’s and can’t move much it was an immense help to have the beach so close so he could watch his grandkids play. As my daughter said she loved it because it felt like a home that has been loved in. Location, clean and Tracey was always available if needed. Looking forward to 2025.

Relaxing stay

The house had everything we need for our stay, the weather curtailed our activities shelling and traveling down the Outter Banks. The beach was close and no swimming because of hurricane Lee was offshore. Great sun Rises. Watched the turtle volunteers try take care of the nest at the bottom of the stairs. We will return to the Outer Banks someday.

We had a great time. Great location so close to the beach - nice when carrying beach chairs, etc. Very nice beach - great for walking. We were there in early Sept and the water was warm. The house was clean, neat and the kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed sight seeing throughout the OB. Nice deck - can see the ocean but not the actual beach due to the sand dune that protects the house (just a very short walk to the beach, however). Nice beach area.

Outstanding family time at the beach

Beach Won was exactly what we needed! The house is sandwiched between gorgeous beach mansions and as one of the locals told us, it’s considered a hidden gem. We flew all the way from Phoenix to revisit our childhood beach vacation spot and this location did not disappoint! Our teenagers spent the week riding the provided bikes into town exploring and living up their time on the coast. The adults took full advantage of the back porch, close beach access, hot tub, and more. 100% recommend!

Beach Won was a WIN!

Great location with easy access to the beach and the Duck boardwalk. Fantastic for families with kids who need to go back and forth to the house for bathroom, snacks, naps, etc. The house is nicely maintained and well stocked with games, sand toys, bikes, boogie boards, etc. The layout, size of the rooms, combination of king beds and bunk beds all worked perfectly for our family with 4 couples and 3 children. The outdoor shower and hot tub were put to good use. The owner was responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again next time we vacation in Duck.

Perfect family getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Beach Won- we found the property to be exactly as described. The fact that the owner includes use of beach equipment, toys, bikes, and sports equipment made life so much easier for my husband and I this week- they even provided toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap in the bathrooms (not the case everywhere!) We just showed up with our clothes, swimsuits, and toiletries and were pretty much ready to roll. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there was plenty of space for our family of 7 to spread out. We had an amazing time, and I’m sure we’ll be back!

Beach Won is great!

If you're looking for a home on the ocean where you can park and not get back in your car again but be within reach of everything--this is it. My family of 5 shared this home with another family of 5 and found it to have all that we needed. Amazing location, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of beach chairs, a hot tub, and even a beach umbrella and bikes! We frequently walked to Duck for dinner as it's an easy walk or bike to the boardwalk. The garage fridge was helpful for extra drinks for kids (and adults!) The home has plenty of board games for all. As for the beach, you can't get any closer which makes things easier with little ones.

Tired House

The house was well supplied in the kitchen. It sleeps the number of people stated but the living and common spaces are inadequate for the number if people it sleeps. The porches and railings are poorly maintained. Splinters were abundant .holding railing on outdoor stairs and front door. Front yard was not maintained at all, totally overgrown. We're told check in was at 4. Cleaning people there til 5:15. Very uncomfortable especially since we had perishables in the car. We had to enter while they were still cleaning

We live in Norfolk, VA and get to Duck as much as possible. We are young at heart, but have 2 grown children and 4 young grandchildren and enjoy playing with them as much as tanning on the beach.

Why they chose this property

Duck is the best location in the Outer Banks - remote, yet accessible and we have watched the town grow up around our Beach House over the past 45 years.

What makes this property unique

We love sitting on the beach, walking the 1 mile beach walk to the fishing pier, driving to the many monuments or to see the wild horses in Corolla. We love visiting the Wright Brothers Memorial and climbing Jockey's Ridge and watching the hang gliders. We also love cocktails at the Sunset Grill, dining at Blue Point, listening to music at the Coastal Cantina, lunch from the Duck Deli on the Beach, and picking Blue Crabs on the back deck! And our favorite is the SOS = Sensational Outside Shower, you just have to experience it, words cannot do it justice!
