About this property

Glamping experience on an organic farm in Harbor Country.

**2 night minimum on weekends** Experience a serene and relaxing getaway in our tiny cabin on our farm. Created with the intention of slowing down (no tv & no wifi), enjoy wandering the fields relaxing in one of the hammocks, cooking on the outdoor fire pit, sipping coffee on the front deck and generally taking a break from modern life. If you'd like to explore the area, we are nearby popular trails and bike routes, U-pick farms, breweries & restaurants and beaches along Lake Michigan.

This is a tiny cabin glamping experience. There is a queen bed in the loft and the couch on the main level is a pullout bed (full size) - sleeping for 4 adults is not recommended. There is just a kitchenette with basic cooking options (electric stovetop) and mini fridge. There is also no running water in the main cabin. Across from the cabin is a private wash room with running water (hot & cold) for the sink and outdoor shower. The toilet is a composting toilet. Again this is a glamping experience for those that want to disconnect but don't necessarily want to go camping. There is heat and A/C in the main cabin and just heat in the wash room. Note: outdoor shower may not be available Dec-March due to freezes.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We're organic farmers that grow vegetables and flowers for restaurants and grocery stores. The farm is on 13 acres of rolling hills and incorporates the natural landscape of pine trees and wildflowers. We built a tiny home so we could share our farm with others and provide a place to disconnect.

Why they chose this property

We grew up in this area and after living in Chicago for 18 years decided to move back to start an organic farm. We enjoy the seasonality of not just the farm but also the tourism of northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan.

What makes this property unique

The tiny home was crafted to blend in with the scenery and to impact the surrounding trees and fields as little as possible. The loft includes a cozy queen bed with plush pillows and linens and the living space has a pull out sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress. Relax indoors while taking in the view from the couch or enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or one of the hammocks. Just steps away, the tiny home has a separate private bathroom with heated outdoor shower.

We have three potbelly pigs that enjoy company as well. Deer and rabbits frequent through the campsite and surrounding area as well.

This is an operating farm so the owners and employees are in the fields tending to the plants, washing, and packing produce throughout the week. You may hear people talking or the occasional tractor in a nearby field. The farm is certified naturally grown and works with the USDA on land management.
