Una camera da letto, un bagno cottage ben arredato con spazio per dormire 4 in più nel sottotetto finito. Situato su 2 acri tranquilli frequentati da cervi e tacchini selvatici. Vicino al Wine Trail (12 minuti in auto), Warren Dunes (5 minuti in auto), Wako Beach (10 minuti in auto), New Buffalo (10 minuti in auto) St. Joe's Silver Beach (20 minuti in auto) o fare un giro di 10 minuti con la nostra bici in tandem fino alla spiaggia pubblica del Lago Michigan.

4th of July weekend stay

Cute cottage in a great location to enjoy all the bounties of Southwest Michigan. Communication with host is a real plus.

Great Place, Responsive Owners

The cottage was a great place for my wife and I to celebrate our 8th anniversary. The owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had throughout the stay, and they even provided a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a nice touch.

A lovely setting

We truly enjoyed a quiet stay in the trees in this cottage. It is just as shown and described and we did see deer in the evening, as advertised. The hosts were quite helpful and the location made this a very private and enjoyable time. We highly recommend giving this one a try if you are coming into the area.

Just needed a weekend getaway and our kids always loved their trips to New Buffalo. We found Peter and Mila's cottage and it was perfect for our planned getaway. Spent 3 days exploring New Buffalo, Three Oaks and Union Pier. Loved it all!

Travel sports tournament

My son had a tournament nearby, and this house was so much better than staying at a hotel. Quiet and secluded, it was just what we needed. Our host was an excellent communicator. Having laundry on site was a huge bonus.

Charming cottage with modern amenities

This was our second stay here and we enjoyed it every bit as much as the first time. It is very close to friends and family and makes a perfect base for breakfast and sleeping. We rode the tandem bike down some quiet country roads and had a good time. We'll be back.

Cozy space. We enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed, nothing we didn’t. Appreciated the bottle of wine, towels, cleanliness, and comfort of the property. It is a quiet location as described in the listing. Enjoy the peace, deer and pleasant hum of the trains that roll through in the distance. It’s a perfect homebase for exploring Harbert and the area around. A really short drive (or bike) to Cherry Beach!

Bestie retreat

We enjoyed having this cozy cottage to come home to after a day at the beach, antiquing and wine tasting. It’s the perfect size for 2-4 people and has all the comforts of home. We enjoyed watching the yearlings dancing/playing in the yard. VERY close to Warren Dunes, Wine Trail and antique shops.

Much Needed Get-Away

Quiet and peaceful! 2 deer came to visit on our first night. Beach, 3 mins away, was a nice ending to the day. On Day 2, we took the hour drive to Saugatuck and enjoyed lunch. The cottage provided everything we needed for a refresh!

Cozy place

Property was as described in listing. Easy location to get to and from all the area spots we wanted to visit. Only draw back was we were startled awake by a freight train at 3am one night of our stay. I don’t think that’s a common occurrence though. Also, we encountered some spiderwebs upon entering the cottage. All in all I would recommend this cottage as a great base camp to visit the area. A big bonus was the Swedish bakery just down the road!

Not What We expected

The pictures of the house make it look roomy, but it was more claustrophobic... like a cabin in a small sailboat. If you don't mind close quarters and only a window air conditioner you'll be all set.

Dave, Thanks for the 4-star rating. I assume our accommodating your early arrival and breaking a wine glass was factored into this score. However, we're puzzled how you can compare our cozy 675 square foot cottage, including finished attic, with a 'cabin in a small sailboat'.. One can only conclude that you spent all your time in the bathroom. Also, an accurate count of the AC units is 2. That's more than enough cool air according to manufacturer specifications and all our previous guests. And thats excluding the two ceiling fans! Thanks for sharing.

There is an odd odor that plug in and fragrances were trying to hide. The fragrances were two string and we had to unplug these. We then opened windows to air the property. The odor may be mold or mildew or an animal has died in the walls.

Perfect place, perfect location, perfect host!

We thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a cottage, centrally located and completely comfortable. Not sure about others who complained about the air conditioning in the reviews. We arrived on one of the hottest days in recent history and the air conditioning had the entire place chilly in under 2 hours. More than sufficient. Firm bed downstairs, soft bed upstairs. If that isn't enough variety, there's also two air beds upstairs if needed. Living room couches comfortable enough that we fell asleep on them as well. Everything was as described in the listing and more. Totally comfortable, we were able to start relaxing immediately. The best compliment I can offer is this - we will return when our schedules and availability of this property permit. I'd be totally content to stay here again.
