This was a beautiful clean home on the lake. We had a great stay and enjoyed the Portland, Freeport and Augusta area. The lake is quiet and serene. Carey was a great host and responsive.

The property was amazing! The pictures did not do it justice. The lake was beautiful. It was easy to take our kayaks and canoe in and out of the water. The place was spacious and clean. The hosts were awesome.

Carey and Tim.were fantastic hosts from the very start. The property was amazing and they were so enthused to see that we had an amazing time. The house was set up for a large group with two kitchens 3 full bathrooms and plenty of sleeping spaces. The amenities were top notch and they let us have run of the lakefront and water toys. We got to use the grill and firepit while there which was great since Colorado is in a stage 2 burn ban. Overall the stay was amazing. Would definitely go and stay there again. It was soooooo quiet and peaceful.

Perfect lakefront getaway

We had an awesome time at this VRBO. The lakefront location is perfect, with beautiful views and super peaceful vibes. It’s also just a 30-minute drive from Portland, so you can easily enjoy both the peaceful lake and the city. The host was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. They even let us borrow their kayak and tubes, which was a fantastic bonus for enjoying the lake. It was our first time in Maine and they recommended couple of spots to eat and go to. The place itself was great, super clean with two kitchens and living areas, which gave everyone plenty of space to relax. Plus, the neighborhood was really quiet! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing lakefront property with great host!

My family of six adults loved our stay at this lake house! The host lives next door and was very happy to help with supplying additional kitchen items, tables and chairs, etc.We spent lots of time in the lake, with the kayak and paddleboard - and there were loons! The three bedrooms & bathrooms are on three different levels, so there's plenty of privacy. Lots of room to hang out as a group too - in the living room, balcony overlooking the lake, and patio with grill on the bottom level. It's a lovely serene spot, just a half hour from Portland - a lobster lover's delight.

Our extended family of 7 was very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The dock and float were a big draw for our water babies. The porches were covered and the sunsets were stunning. We will definitely book again!

This was the perfect place to stay in the Portland area with our family of young adults. The mix of larger and twin beds worked well for our group and the two living areas gave us plenty of room to spread out. Having three bathrooms was also nice. (We didn't need the 2nd kitchen, but it was a nice bonus.) The view of the lake was incredible and it was convenient to Portland while feeling like a peaceful retreat. We enjoyed having a rainy day to stay in and sunny days to kayak on the lake and explore the area. Host was accessible and prompt in answering any questions. We did not have any issues that needed their attention. We would absolutely stay here again.
