Even a shorter walk to the Centreville Recreation Center with a very large and renovated play ground. Walk or bike to the Centerville Pie Company and Dunkin Donuts.10 Minutes from Main Street, downtown Hyannis or the Mall. All amenities such as shopping, liquor store and restaurants are just minutes away. There are activities for both families and couples alike. Take the family on a whale watching tour, or a fishing trip, mini golf. We moved to the Cape in 2009 and took on a large renovation project and we love it. A year later we purchased this property/project. The previous owner had been here for 50 years and never updated a thing. The cottages were poorly maintained and it was reflecting on the neighborhood. We Completely gutted and renovated the entire property. In 2014 we completed the renovation of the adjacent home VRBO Listing #514456. We now have 2 beautiful properties for our guests to enjoy. We love having guest re visit year over year and tell us how much they love the property, location and the cape overall. We are close to fresh and salt water beaches. You will enjoy your time here.

Why Ed chose Centerville
This property has just been completely renovated, new everything including furniture, kitchen, etc. It's a great place and you will feel at home. It's 4 miles or a $10 cab ride to shopping and may great restaurants on Main Street in Hyannis Center. There is a Bus Stop about 30 yards from the front door that will take you to Hyannis or many other Cape destinations. Best Sushi anywhere I have found to date, Seafood like no place in the Country and great traditional American, Italian and Mexican. There is an active nightlife with many nighttime entertainment options. We would love to share our experiences with you. We can offer you suggestions on anything Cape Cod. Just ask!

Great place in a Fantastic Location!!
It was great to get back to Craigville Beach!! If you love the beach and have kids this is a great spot to vacation. Penny candy store, playground, and Four Seas Ice cream are all within walking distance (I prefer to take the 10 minute drive up RTE 28 West to Polar Cave for their Homemade Ice Cream and most importantly made to order hot waffle cones and bowls). A few miles the other way on RTE 28 East is Hyannis Center where there is loads of dining from small breakfast joints to gourmet restaurants, tons of shopping, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket (There is also the Barnstable Airport if you prefer to fly).It's a short three minute drive down the street from the house to Craigville Beach. The owner supplies a Town of Barnstable beach parking pass which will get you into all of the town beaches. I went to 4 different beaches during my stay each one with their own unique personality.The house is updated, clean, and well equipped both inside and out. There is nothing like taking a shower outdoors when you get back from the beach. There is plenty of parking and the owner Ed was very helpful in getting connected to the wifi. I just can't say enough about the location. Whether you're a beach bum, adventurer, professional shopper, food critic, competitive cocktail drinker, or little kid (regardless of age) there is always something nearby for you.
Cute house, everything we wanted
We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and the house was cute and clean.
We took advantage of the beach pass, which was so easy. Also we went sunset paddleboarding right down on the river and it was beautiful.
The house was just right for us and our dogs. We enjoyed our time!

Overall we enjoyed our stay! The house fit our needs nicely and having the beach pass was definitely helpful. Owner was flexible and accommodating to our needs and attentive to property.
We enjoyed our stay, the property is close to the beach, ice cream parlor and penny store.
Loved the private court yard area, just about everything i needed in the kitches area. However, the late check in is a pain, i wasnt aware until a week prior to the trip. 1st time renting a house in thw cape. The master bed was a nightmare, not comfortable at all. We were not warned that the basement had mold and smelled of mildew because of water damage that hadn't been corrected.
Thank you for your review. The check in time was listed on the document you signed when you rented the property several months before you arrived. Our check in time is 3pm and is the same as any Hotel or Property rental. We need to have the property cleaned by a ready for the next guest, unfortunately this takes a bit of time. As for the bed I apologize if this was not to your liking. I have never received feedback on the bed being uncomfortable but I will address this immediately. The basement has never had water damage and is only used for laundry, this is not living space and we do not expect people to be using it as such. I will check the basement and see what you are referencing. It has been a very hot and humid summer so maybe I need to add a dehumidifier to the basement. Thank you for your feedback and I will address the concerns you have for our future guests.
The property was clean and well taken care of. The location is great.
My family had a great vacation. The house is well maintained and close to everything. The A/C was necessary as the temperatures were well into the 90's. We were surprised by the security cameras both on the inside and outside of the property.
I am glad you had a good time. We do have security cameras on the outside of the property but we do not have them on the inside. We do have a security alarm device that has been unplugged and we only use inside when the property is not occupied off season due to a an off season break in a few years ago.
Clean, Efficient, Close to Hyannis and Beaches, everything you need
This is our second year at Ed's property. The house is not huge bu it works well for 2-4 people or in our case 2 people and our dogs!. It is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and electronic gadgetry.
The location is perfect for us - just off the beaten path and close to the cranberry bog for the dogs!
Hyannis is 15 minutes away with all it's shops and restaurants.
This property is perfect for a laid back Cape vacation that is within 15 minutes of everything you (at least we) need!
I don't want to sing it's praises too much as I don't want to have trouble booking next year !
