Built in 1920 as a sharecropper's house, it has been lovingly brough back to life. A beautiful retreat from Current Times 1-bedroom house. Nestled in a peaceful setting, guests can unwind in the serene atmosphere, unique with antiques, decor and misc. items like a turn table with ample albums to listen to. The cozy bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the living room offers an additional space with a sofa bed for extra guests. Enjoy modern amenities like WiFi, heating, and AC during your stay. Fall in love with Blanco and enjoy the magic it has to offer.

What an amazing home! It is beautiful and filled with so many fun pieces. It is super convenient to the Buggy Museum, lavender farm, downtown, etc. The host, Deb, is so thoughtful and wonderful to work with. We can't wait to go back!

Everything about Ethyl’s Place is so well thought out and vibrates with the loving time, energy and creativity that was put into restoring this valuable little piece of Blanco History. Ethyl’s Place feels like so warm & cozy like home! We played scrabble & listened to records during our stay. Deb is a fabulous host! She decorated for Easter and had snacks upon arrival. We had such great time and will definitely be back!

Aside from the wonderful communication with a most thoughtful host, this little house is absolutely charming!! We were enamored with everything! The clawfoot tub, the fireplaces, the kitchen and dishes! Wonderful porch to sit on, and cute backyard. Very cozy living area. We will definitely be going back to this house!

Very easy to get to. Loved all the antique furniture & nostalgic decorations for the Christmas holiday. Kitchen was very roomy , but would’ve been nice a slightly larger convection/toaster oven to cook our breakfast casserole in.
