BIENVENUE au Makaha Beach Cabanas situé sur les rives du nord-ouest de Oahu! Notre condo est à l'étage principal. Pas besoin de même utiliser un ascenseur - descendez notre Lanai directement sur la plage! Il n'a vraiment pas mieux que cela!

Loin de l'agitation et du bruit, nous sommes dans la campagne où vous pouvez encore éprouver Hawaï la façon dont il devrait être - vierge et peu fréquentée.

Mais assez proche pour livrer vos goûts dans Chinatown, surf sur la Côte-Nord ou une balançoire à Waikiki quand les grèves de désir!

Regarder les couchers de soleil spectaculaires, voir les dauphins, tortues de mer et même des baleines au cours de la migration annuelle - tout dans le confort de votre OCEANFRONT & MAIN condo étage.

Nous avons une super plage, le meilleur sur Oahu - nager, plonger, planche de surf, surf, golf à proximité à deux des cours de qualité et des installations pour barbecue sur place.

Restaurants locaux sont à proximité et boutiques haut de gamme / salle à manger est à environ 20 minutes.

Qui peut résister à la bruit des vagues pour berceuse? Notre plage est classé parmi les meilleurs dans Oahu!

Cet incroyable condo au premier étage est littéralement sur la plage pratiquement privée et peut accueillir 4 confortablement w / un confortable lit queen, canapé convertible et cuisine entièrement équipée.

Parce que nous sommes directement sur l’océan, la seule climatisation de Cabanas sont les merveilleux Hawaiian Trade Winds! Le condo est conçu pour tirer parti des alizés avec une ventilation transversale + nous avons des ventilateurs de plafond dans chaque pièce. Pas besoin de vous isoler du bruit des vagues directement devant votre porte!

There is nothing like being footsteps to the beach and listening to the waves crashing as you sleep! This beachside condo is a little slice of paradise on the western coast of Oahu; away from the crowds and hustle/bustle. Being able to swim out your door every day....walking the beach at sunset - life doesn't get much better than that!

Wonderful!

Property was just as described, location great, not touristy. Perfect for making day trips to explore the island. The beach was awesome and not crowded, the laundry facilities simple and inexpensive, and the booklet with condo instructions and local info was very helpful. So happy we found this rental!

The host was excellent and the condo was very nice, the only problems we experienced was the weather didn't cooperate (cloudy and windy) and 1 night during high tide the ocean water actually entered the condo causing everything on the floor to get wet. Then to top it off, 3 days into our stay, we received a call informing us that my wifes brother had passed away which caused us to return home immediately. Other than that, everything was fine!

I was so sorry you had to leave so early into your stay & I offered you my sincere condolences on the death of your brother. However, considering you thought the condo was 'very nice', I'm not sure I understand the 3* rating? Sadly, I have no control over the weather. I appreciate the fact that you cleaned up the water, but you agreed that you knew that a call to our manager would have provided you with that service. Fortunately, this was the 1st time since we owned our condo that water actually came in - hopefully, the first and last time!!

Sandy Beach between your tiest

Get away from the busy life…. Sit back enjoy the sound of the waves …. Sand between you toes…. Watch turtles swim by… nice drive to north shore, Dole plantation and the macadamia nut farm.

Makaha Beach Paradise

We loved our stay at Makaha Beach! Walking out of our condo onto the beach into the water....paradise! Ending the day with stunning sunsets - breathtaking! The condo was a perfect beach house well supplied with kitchen and beach essentials. We’d return in a heartbeat (and hope to!)!

Makaha Beach Cabana

Excellent cabana - will definitely return and highly recommend this unit. Stepping right out onto the beach each morning for a sunrise walk was a highlight of each day. Beautiful views and semi-private beach. Condo clean and well maintained and provided many amenities needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Beach chairs, cooler, hair dryer and much more available for use while staying. Condo is close enough to everything but far enough to be out of the hustle bustle.

West side on Honolulu

The west side is where all the homeless of Honolulu are allowed to stay. Camps every ware. Smell was bad.

Sadly, there are homeless camps all over Oahu, even including sidewalks in Honolulu, not just the West Side & the smell is limited to those camps. There are not homeless camps near our Condo or near the Makaha Beach Cabanas. Please consider all our other Excellent Reviews!

Fantastic beachfront condo, instant access to the beach.

This was a perfect condo for beach lovers like us. It is super easy to go to the ocean right from the condo. We knew that getting a condo in the makaha area means spending some extra time on getting groceries but it hasn't prevented us from exploring the entire island as Oahu is not that large when you get a car. The condo itself features very nice TV's and fast internet, our host was very responsive to any of our needs during the stay.

Right on beach / stand. Great sunsets

Great space. Being first floor let’s one step over onto sand. Right there. Water little rough but swimmable. Great duvets. Close to few reasonable priced markets. Good beach toys. If focus is sand. Beach relaxation thus got you. Not ton of restaurants right there but 20 minutes snd you’re at Ko Olina Owners very communicative and recondite. Great time

Hidden Jewel Of Oahu

We had a wonderful month staying at Jain’s place. The unit is well maintained & equipped with everything we needed. Also, love the convenience of being able to step in & out of beach right from our lanai. The beach is absolutely beautiful & quiet. We enjoyed it so much that we barely did any other activities, but just relaxed there everyday. The building’s laundry room is on the ground floor as well, and can be paid & monitored via app. There is a small farmers market every Saturday about 5 minutes away with fresh vegetables, fruits, local restaurant foods & crafts. Which we enjoyed to go, as well as the large KCC farmers market by Waikiki. Can’t wait to come back again!

Quiet and on the Beach

We really enjoyed this condo. It had everything you needed and the bed was very comfortable. It did not have air conditioning and I was very hesitant, but with the tradewinds you did not need it. It was about a 45 minute trip from the airport but we liked it because a lot less people. It is right on the beach and the crashing of waves at night was amazing. I would give it 5 stars but the only downside for us was the locals put up a tent several night in front of our Lanai because they camp and fish all night. They were very quiet but we didn't like to sit out on the Lanai with them right there before bed and when we woke up in the morning. But it is a great find for the money. Loni and Tony

I'm sooo glad that you had a wonderful time staying with us! I agree that it can be disconcerting to people unfamiliar w/Hawaiian culture to find locals camping on the beach. Hawaii, like most other states, says that the ocean or waterways should be accessible to all. To that end, the area from the water up to a certain number of feet, is considered public domain. Oddly, in order to camp overnight, there has to be at least one fishing line in the water. This even applies to resorts and ocean front homes. Fortunately, from my experience, the local campers have always been friendly, clean up their mess & are respectful of our residents. Usually, this happens on holidays, but not always. Thank you for mentioning this, because it gave me the opportunity to explain how this can happen - anywhere! It's easy for me to forget how strange this can feel, because I'm so used to it. A Secret Hidden GEM

The condo was clean an very comfortable. Had everything we needed, but our food. The view right outside the patio is beautiful , waves an beach.. Each day we sat on the beach an just watched the ocean, the waves come roaring in .. And the sunsets , OMG , beautiful. 3/4 locals, an 1/4 tourists which is so nice. The book you left on attractions, places to eat , places to explore they were all spot on with directions ect...... This place is Very Relaxing an Soothing for the soul this little hidden gem ... People were all friendly an helpful .. The furthest we traveled from the condo was to the Polyision Culture Center, 91 miles away .. It was a awesome drive... Can't say enough of good things about this Condo an this area the Condo is in... The locals are all very friendly , very thoughtful.....They look out for you .

Life is a Beach!

This property is great! Its away from the crowds and high costs of Honolulu. You are truly experiencing Island life with the Hawaii locals. The best thing about this property is that you open the bedroom sliding glass door and you are on the beach!! I had to sweep the patio almost everyday due to the sand getting on it!! That was great! Also the beach is never crowded, it sits infront of two condo buildings and can only be accessed from the walkway to it and there isn't much public parking, maybe space for 4 cars. This keeps the beach from getting crowded. In the morning I had coffee on the patio and watched Sea Turtles swim by on their way to the feeding grounds. Everyday we saw turtles!! Having a full kitchen helps in Hawaii to save money as it can be costly to eat on the island every meal. I hope to return when my company sends me back!

Wonderful and Quiet Beach on Oahu

My husband and I took our granddaughter, age 15 , for a 10 day stay here. It was perfect for us! We wanted to stay away from the crowds, and we like to be able to walk out from our lanai to the beach. Perfect! From the pictures it looks as if there would be hundreds of people around, since the cabanas and the condos next door are both high risers, but that was not the case at all. Most were not occupied. On the weekends the beach is more crowded, but still way less crowded than other beaches on Oahu. Our condo was clean,comfortable, and has everything you need (except for a small cooler, which we bought and left in the bedroom closet). We snorkeled all over the island, as well as in front of the condo. Toward the big rock you see in the picture is nice! We used the outdoor grills and the washer and dryer, both located nearby. The locals were friendly, and the staff at the condo always greeted us warmly. Janis was always able to answer our questions promptly, as we were preparing for the trip. I would recommend this condo to all of my friends who dislike hotels, and enjoy staying in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Joe and Susan Mahan

Can’t beat the view!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and you could not beat walking out the back door straight onto the beach. It was even better to have beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, etc. included so we didn’t have to bring them or try and find our own. The owner provided a helpful information binder so we could find things to do around the area which we definitely appreciated. The owner and manager were super easy to contact and were always prompt to answer our questions. The only thing we had an issue with was not having air conditioning and trying to sleep through the heat, but we are also used to a cold climate. Overall we loved our stay!!

12 wonderful days at Makaha beach Cababa's

Thank you Janis for providing a very clean unit. Towels, beach chairs, boggy boards, snorkels and masks, cooler and even a fishing pole. Plus more. This is a great place to stay every time we are in Hawaii. Priced well and has many things you won't need to pick up at the store. Great to see the Weber gas grill. The beach is terrific with few people and the Puka shell hunting was fun for our Granddaughter and us. If your not into the over crowded tourist areas this is the place. Highly recommend!!! Quiet and relaxing.

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabanas. Access right to the beach. Gated property, which is good. It is far from the crowded area of Waikiki, so if this is what you are looking for, go for it.

This condo makes the whole Oahu experience great!

Everything is exactly as described, only better. My husband and I have not had a week long vacation for 24 years when our kids were small and that vacation was anything but relaxing. We traveled to the whole island and couldn’t find a nicer beach. There was one on the east side that was prettier (maybe) but was crowded so much we couldn’t find parking. Most of the weekdays there was maybe one or two people at the condo’s beach and most of the time no one at all. The condo itself was great for relaxing. I like to read and my husband likes to plan a few activities around his naps - like in multiple. The kitchen has brand new cupboards with slide out drawers and Janis has been very thoughtful about stocking it with everything you would want to cook. We saved a lot of money by purchasing fresh fish (ahi), steak or shrimp each afternoon and fixing it with fresh produce. It’s a great way to end the day, eating local food on the lanai. Better than any fancy restaurant. The area is mainly occupied by locals and it was great! We felt welcome and safe there - so glad we didn’t stay in Waikiki. The best part of this condo is it FEELS like a home and has all those home like touches hotels just don’t have. Thoughtful decor that’s not “cookie cutter”, and is furnished with equipment if someone likes to do activities like using boogie boards or chairs to watch the sunset. Don’t think the condo is perfect.......There are a few minor things that really didn’t bother me like the screen door has a hard time locking so I just didn’t mess with it and made sure we were gentle with opening/closing - just like at home! We couldn’t figure out the tv that kept saying “no signal” but we used our lap top fine with the WiFi, I’m sure it was “operator error” and we didn’t want to screw anything up so we didn’t mess with it. Such minor things when we were there to relax and explore the island. This place was the perfect getaway and we came home with the plan of repeating this vacation next year.

Many Mahalos for your lovely review - I am so happy you had a wonderful time! Since we stay there as owners, it's not just a vacation rental for us. It is our second home & I have always figured that if I need 'it', so do my guests. Ahhhh, the screen door....is never going to work properly. While we were there this past March, in desperation, we paid $400 for a new one w/professional installation. The lock is so sensitive, that it keeps needing adjusting - but now at least it stays on the track. (most of the time) We have been told that the opening is out of plumb & that causes the ongoing issues... If the TV said 'no signal', it means that the cable box wasn't on. I'm sorry you didn't contact our manager, Tad - he would have been happy to help w/both. I'm so glad that those little issues didn't interfere w/your good time! I hope you are able to return to visit us again soon! J

We live in Michigan and have been coming to Hawaii for years.
Currently, we are both retired but because our grandchildren live in Michigan, we can't live here full-time...or we would! We can only come for about 6 weeks in the winter and so decided to share our Fabulous Condo with others.

We have been to all the islands numerous times & have stayed in wonderful hotels & time shares. Once we found the Cabanas we knew we had found the Best of the Best! We didn't have to leave in order to do all the activities we love: snorkel, dive, whale watch, beach walking and on & on!

Being in a local area, allows us to skip the crowds unless we want to take the 45 min. drive to see the sights in Waikiki, Honolulu, Pearl Harbor or the North Shore. It's great to be close enough to get to the fine restaurants, shopping & visit the famous attractions and then come back to peace & quiet!

The absolute best part is being on the main floor & just walking out on the virtually private beach. Clean water, trade winds, lapping surf - all in your front 'yard'. It really doesn't get any better than this!
